Hi there, no, you only earn what you are staking. If you are staking BNB, your rewards will be in BNB. The preference only that preferences setting will only be the "value" display in bitcoin or ethereum. So it will tell you the value of your portfolio in BTC or ETH or Fiat like USD.
So it cannot give you a 24% reward for the 7days Lock. I staked Trx and was given a 3.54-5% Apr. Thinking am gonna be rewarded every 3days with 3.54% of my invested amount
Correct the percent given when staking is for a whole year. But it never makes sense to only stake for 7 days. It isn't even worth it to do that. But if you only stake for 7 days you won't make much, unless you have thousands upon thousands of dollars worth.

Hello Matt. I have a question that for example: I stake my BNB on a highest APR validator, if one day that validator got problem with their network, will I lose all my BNB?
Hi there! Great question, no, you don't lose your BNB if the validator goes down. You can just "redelegate" to another validator. Or you can unstake it to make the balance available to use again.
@@ManifestationRecipient If you aren't staking very much, you won't earn very much. This is true with any staking regardless of the platform. Staking is meant for the long term, not short term.
Hello, yes it takes at least 7 days before you start seeing any rewards. Just remember though the percentage from the validator is for a FULL year. Meaning if you have $1000 worth of BNB staking and the validator percent is %10 you would make $100 in a whole year. Not including the compounding of course, so it will be higher than that. With that said you have to have a significant amount staked for it even to be noticeable that you earned anything. That comes down to about $9 a month in my example above. That is how any interest works on any investment.

After you start staking it takes up to 7 days for it to start staking. You won't see any rewards until it actually starts staking. What happens if you “unstake” it? If the rate goes up, should you unstake it and restake it? Or does it automatically change your staked rate when the apr goes up for new stakes?
If you unstake it, you have to wait 7 days then it is available to spend. So you get the rate when it goes up or down, you don't have to change anything, so yes it automatically changes. What you may want to change is the validator, you would redelegate to a validator that has a higher percentage. I check in on it once every few days and see what rate I am getting and see if it is worth changing delegators.
Hi Matt, nice vid, quick question, is the only way to see the staking rewards to keep and eye on “available” BNB as it seems a bit unprofessional, or do they have a system within the staking part somewhere showing expect amount yielded back? Thanks.
Thank you! As far as I know, that is the only way to keep track. In the "stake details" portion it doesn't have (total earned). Which I agree they should have. The Coinbase wallet has it, and it is pretty nice. But the "available" works fine, as long as you don't have any other BNB in there that wasn't staked, then you have to keep track how much you put in to see how much you earned while staking.
Hello sir, i have doubt that if i stake 250 TRX what return will i get in reward in average?? And will i get daily basis reward if i continued staking without unstake??
It entirely depends on what rate you are getting and that rate will always change. So there is no average. But yes you will get a daily return. If you got a 10% rate, your return would be 0.07 TRX daily.

Hello, great informative video. I am currently staking my bnb on my trust wallet under the TW validator. Is it possible to stake my bnb while it is in cold storage like a ledger wallet or do I need to have all the coins that I want to stake on my trust wallet? If holding the coins in a cold storage while staking on TW validator is not possible, is it worth the risk being on a hot wallet? How do you manage the risk? Thanks in advance for any help.
Hi there! No you can't stake your BNB in cold storage. The coins you want to stake have to be in the Trust wallet, or another type of wallet that allows staking of BNB. As far as risk goes there is always some risk, but I have been staking on numerous platforms since the end of 2017/Beginning of 2018. Never have had any problems. But investing in crypto is always risking however you slice it, haha. The way to manage it, is to not invest more than you can afford to lose. But in general staking on the big platforms is fairly safe.
Thank you for the video! Is there any way to “re-invest” these percents? Or should I just add more BNB to have the minimal amount (1 coin I guess?) and stake it again? Will it sum up with coins being staked already?
Yeah so the minimum amount is 1BNB. So a few options, like you mentioned you can add more so you have at least 1 BNB in your balance, or unstake what you currently have then stake the WHOLE balance which includes the rewards. Unfortunately, it is not as good as other platforms for staking that more easily allow you to reinvest/stake your earnings.
Thank you sir for the great video. A quick question, when i stake bnb what happens after 7 days? Is the staking over after that? If i want to keep staking i have to do the process again or will it just continue until I manually unstake my bnb?
Hi there thanks! It just keeps staking, no need to do anything after 7 days, you don't process it again, you only do it once and then stake it as long as you like. So yes once you stake it, it will continue until you manually unstake it.

what if I stake 1 coin but now I want to stake more coins, will it be a separate line or will it be included with my first coin?
If you add more of the same coins, it should be included. If you stake other coins, they will be separate lines.

Good morning
Very informative video..I just started staking in TW and after 2 days it doesn't show any rewards. When the rewards are posted ? I thought it will be posted daily even that small amounts..My available balance hasn't change after 2 days of staking. Also when you redelegate, is it start all over or continuation? Like it will leave you those 7 days unearned rewards ? What are those 7 days locking period about?
After you start staking it takes up to 7 days for it to start staking. You won't see any rewards until it actually starts staking. They will show up in your available balance and will most likely be really really small, unless you are staking a big amount.
No redelegation doesn't start the 7 day period over. Only if you unstake completely and then restake.
@@MattTaylorVariety Thanks for reply.I saw small amount yesterday to add up in available balance, but it's not as much as they advertise that percentage APR..They don't say nowhere that it takes 7 days from start staking pushing "stake now" to receive first rewards, they say it accrue rewards daily after second day staking...but they surely say that it takes 7 days of non rewards after pushing "unstake" button to have funds available..That's kind of painful long time, they put it on their inside job staking I guess or what else would be the reason of locking it for 7 days?? Why there would be period of 7 days before staking and after staking ?
@@MB031 You are welcome! Make sure you are doing the calculation correctly. the percent is for a whole year. For example if the validator you picked was for 10%, and you had 1 BNB being staked. You would make 0.10 BNB for one FULL year. Then you have to divide that .10 by 365 to get the daily amount you earn. That is how their staking system works. Read this community.trustwallet.com/t/the-risks-of-staking/672
@@MattTaylorVariety Thanks.I know it's yearly. It started to appear more in available balance, it took like 4 days, first small amount showed second day from start, then gradually increasing every day according to % APR and cumulation,I think after 7 days it will become stable, just variable according to %....The only problem is I can't redelegate again same validator I must wait for first relegation to complete, but no time given how long it will take..It's very shady as far as information ! Also They don't show validator's commissions on TW app and don't tell you that redelegate probably takes another 7 days,You can't can't redelegate back to the same validator ! You can redelegate only to different validator within 7 days..So the best is to pick one of the top 5 voted and don't mess with it..lol.. btw TW validator is in jail now !! Not even denoted, is completely turned off..wow
@@MB031 No problem!
Hello sir pancake swap staking safe platform??
Hi there, I use Pancake Swap, it seems safe enough, just don't leave your metamask or trust wallet connected to it all the time.
Ok sir tnx

How many bnb would you stake to earn 0.0478 bnb as a profit for a month?
It entirely depends on what rate you are receiving from the validator, and that rate will also fluctuate.
Good Saturday Matt. Have you ever looked into the WOW token?
Hello, no I haven't looked into that token yet.
@@MattTaylorVariety I see. I was curious. Because I saw on coinmarketcap's site that the token went up by 2873556703.59% in the last 24 hours. To me, when it is too good to be true, it cannot be that good. lol

Hello. I invested 5000 dollars then my money went up to 38,000 dollars. Now, the company told me that i should pay the 20% tax, then i paid it. The second time, the tripartite company is requiring 5% handling fee. Then i paid it.. The amount wasn't a joke, i borrowed it from my friends. Now the last is that they found that I am using a Thai account and so there's a need fro exchange rate fee required by the international bank. It's 8%. Is this really true?
Well, the first time I've used it with small amount was good and the 2nd time as well. The money was returned to my bank account..
How is that now? Exchange rate fee/ withdrawal fee??
Did you use coinbase?
@@MattTaylorVariety yes sir
@@gideonfillag1575 Fees will vary depending on where you live. What I showed in the video are the only fees I paid when cashing out for that example. It will vary depending on your bank as well. You need to consult a tax person when it comes to taxed owed to the Government where you live as well.

Thanks.
Exact*^
@@MattTaylorVariety yes I agree the Coinbase one is very good and trust wallet should definitely take notes!
Thanks for the reply, have a great day 👍

Hello sir, i have doubt that if i stake 250 TRX what return will i get in reward in average??
And will i get daily basis reward if i continued staking without unstake??
It entirely depends on what rate you are getting and that rate will always change. So there is no average. But yes you will get a daily return. If you got a 10% rate, your return would be 0.07 TRX daily.
Thank you, very helpful
You are very welcome!
Nice video, very helpful! What's the most amount of BNB that can be staked on TW & what happens if I don't unstake every 7 days, will compound on its own? Thank your respond is greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Yes, it continues staking on its own. I don't know what the limit is, but it is pretty high.
Thank you greatly..

please reply,
Thanks. 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
You would earn 0.57447 BNB in a year, or .0478 BNB per month. That 14.73 is the percentage for a whole year.

@@MattTaylorVariety Thanks for the information Matt. You have a really nice channel with interesting content. I'll link your channel to my friends.
@@anon6759 You are very welcome! And thank you!!
Please, what's the procedure for staking?
How do I go about staking tokens in trust wallet... Thanks
@@MattTaylorVariety awesome. Thanks again.
