I am so thankful to have found these..sermons about the Holy spirit !! Craving for the Holy spirit!! Thank you Father in heaven,thank you JESUS Gods son, thank you Holy spirit!! Pastor David Wilkerson will always have a very special place in my heart. I was at the point in my life where I finally started to ask is Jesus maybe real? Could the Bible really be the Truth? And I just by God's grace came upon one of pastor Wilkersons powerful sermons. And after listening I'm not sure how long my soul was so convicted and I got down on my knees and just cried out to God. I repented right there and in that moment Jesus met me right where I was and I was saved and born again. And from that day on I knew that Jesus Christ really died for me and all men. It really is the most amazing moment of my life. This man is a special blessing in God's Kingdom 💖🕊️
Summary:It is possible to live walking in the spirit whole day.Holy spirit God is in His temple (my body).His promise is to be with me and guide me all the time.if only i stop doing my own will(walking in flesh) and listen to His still small voice and JUST SAY YES to his guidance I am walking in the spirit.
Walking in the Spirit is surrendering all to Jesus and then waiting on his word to guide us and lead us in truth and love. When we get a word we discern it's relativity to the scriptures and then we obey what we are told to do. The Spirit is always with us and constantly giving us commands.
Yes commands. But more than that, the Holy Spirit gives us power, help, reassurance, peace, encouragement, reveals truth, spiritual fruit, boldness, guidance, and a host of other invaluable treasures.
When you take time in rest and wait till He talks. Dont forget those words, but Wright it down. And obey, His love guides you how to obey. Be sensitive. Take this daily quiet time. This is I think obeying in Truth and in Spirit. The Kingdom of God is in you. You grow in faith.

In the past few months I have rediscovered David Wilkerson. I have heard no less than 60 of his sermons here on TH-cam. All I've heard I'd give 5 stars (*****); but this one - "How to Walk in the Spirit" -- I'd have to assign 12 stars (************). I've already listened to it twice, but expect to continue again, and again until I am totally absorbed with his message, and I begin to live out the "YES, and AMEN" part. His ministry has bluest my heart! Thank you Jesus for this man.
He was truly a man of God. I'm listening to this sermon right now. Whenever I'm feeling down I always listen to him. His sermons gives me hope and after so many trials and tribulations thinking I don't need God, I now know more than anything - God is in control and I have to trust him.
Jim May Hello, Jim. I felt the same way as I listened to this sermon. However, when I heard this pastor use the f word at 34:52, I have my doubts now about him walking in the spirit especially during a sermon about walking in the spirit. Using that word was definitely yielding to the flesh.

Our flesh can not function without a spirit There is a spirit within everyone. It's either GODS holy spirit or the bad spirit. This is why we are how we are. I learned this from my experience and walk with GOD. I hope you can understand. GOD bless you
before Jesus was baptized me in the Holy Spirit, I heard a voice saying confess your SIN then I did it, when I was attended an intercessory prayer that was Sept. 2011, During our worship I heard the Sound of Wind blow up my Head turning back and forth then I feel a cold from Head to toe. That was my encounter in John 3 : 8.
I've been a believer and accepted Jesus back in the early 80's and ridiculous as it might sound, I have accepted him over and over again. Long story short, I still commit sins and it bothers me. I've yet to have received a water baptism. Maybe that's an issue? I need to learn how to walk in the Spirit.
There is only one WAY, Jesus is the way. Follow Jesus, be more like Him every day! We pray that God will give you strength to overcome those sins that troubles you. Read the bible! God bless you and keep you! Prayers!

For it is written Ezek 36:26: "And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh." It is also written no longer i live but Christ in me. Christ is the anointing and leads to salvation. If you fight against light,good, anointed ones than its the antichrist spirit, aknowlege and turn (repentance) to light so Jesus (salvation) Christ (anointing) destroy that evil spirit.
15:30 "I want to make this simple so a child can understand it". Lost people don't need strict exegesis! They don't even know what exegesis means. Do you think a heroin addict on the street is waiting for someone with a masters degree in divinity to come share Christ with them? This is the kind of garbage that Jesus rebuked. Pharisee mentality where everything has to be educated. 1 Corinthians 2:4 Paul says that he didn't preach with enticing words and strict exegesis.... He just spoke to people with the power of the Holy Spirit. Who God calls, He equips. David Wilkerson was called and equiped. I pray this message convicts and falls heavy on anyone who thinks preaching must be according to a programmable pattern and that 40 hours of study a week must go into proper preparation for Sunday morning. Meanwhile, people are being lost every second while you prepare your exegesis. Good gracious and God have mercy on us for our blindness. Please Lord continue to take the simple and foolish things in this world and confound the wise with them. Help us to get our heads out of the "art" preaching and get our hearts back to you.
I enjoy Wilkersons messages but no one in scripture ever prayed to Holy Spirit as far as I have read nor did Paul ever in his opening salutations to the churches ever bring up Holy Spirit as he did with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I wonder why many do this when it's not Biblical. If someone ever prayed to Holy Spirit in scripture I'll be more than happy to see it and accept it as Biblical.
Unfortunately, this message has similarities to the prosperity gospel: "If you walk in the Spirit, your life will go well for you. You will never be deceived and you will reap the full blessings of God. If you walk in the flesh, your life won't go well." That is not true, as all of the disciples and martyrs will attest. Even Christ's life did not "go well" from a human perspective and He was walking with the Father every second of His life. This kind of theology also breeds a kind of judgment to those who are struggling in life and implies they wouldn't be struggling if they were walking in the Spirit.

@@malcolmabram2957 idolization of an object. Carrying your cross is crucifying the flesh. It's not a literal carrying of and wearing a cross. Otherwise Jesus would have said "wear a cross". Carry your cross is crucifying the flesh it's living as a representative of Christ - when the world is eating and drinking, watching t.v, playing games and partying, you are fasting, praying, studying God's word, and keeping your eyes on Christ, testifying of Christ That is carrying your cross, caring your flesh and the pain of your personal desires which go against God's Spirit and are at constant war with one another.
@@seizethediaz Thank you for your insightful reply. There is actually a huge misconception about the cross. In the NT the word used was actually stake. The symbol of the cross, which is universally used and understood in christendom today, did not come to the fore until the 6th century. This needs to be distinguished from the work of the Spirit crucifying the flesh with the arrows of the Almighty (1-Corinthians 1: 18, Job 6:4). The Lord took me out of the church to learn this 'secret,' and I have now written a book on the experience of carrying one's cross, which I soon aim to get published (neither do I expect it to be a best seller). It is not an easy walk, but it is Jesus' narrow path to eternal life. Prosperity theology does not lead to eternal life, but carrying one's cross does. The Spirit gives life, but such ultimately has no purpose, unless the flesh is crucified (Romans 8: 13).
@@malcolmabram2957 I carried my cross 9 years ago, around 20 miles a day just over a year. I once lived blindly obeying my spirit that heard form Gods Spirit. He has taken my life away, and I follow Him knowing that He is in all control of everything and everyone, no matter where they are in their life. There is no fear of God. Revelation 3:15-19 kjv Our calling isnt meant for everyone. Many cant carry their cross as you did. Its not them but Fathers will in their lives. Near the end of my walking, I made an 8' 4x4 wooden cross that had a sign that said, "LOVE". I carried it almost 6 miles and this is where I will die. I had a spirit tell me how I would die and God gave me a vision of where I will die, both happened years apart and by faith, it completely sux but at the same time, I cant wait for it to be over with. After all my work, Ive learned, there is absolutely no fear of God.

yes the last of his sermons are so very powerful. It seems that as his time drew nearer and nearer to his end he became closer to Father, Son and Holy Spirit so that we could get a clearer and clearer message from Jesus

@@rayray2878 you are absolutely right. There is only one truth and that is the testimony of the Holy Spirit in your heart (1-John 2:27). The difficulty is to know whether we have heard Him or not. If He truly has spoken then we are tested. If the testimony is of Him He empowers us to stand with His grace and thereby we prove what that has been said is true. What He has said, literally becomes part of us as a being. However, that which is not of Him will fall away. The danger in much charismatic teaching is that to follow Jesus is all joy and wondrous things. Often it is not, but a trial and as Jacob, a wrestling match to prove God's will. But when we stand the trial we come forth as gold (Job 23:10). In the end it is only those who suffer with Christ who are glorified with Christ (Romans 8:17), and such is the narrow path (Matthew 7:13). I apologise for quoting so much Scripture, but I feel you can see through the Gospel of prosperity and its many false prophets. Beside it is God Himself who is our reward (Genesis 15: 1), His joy and His peace, the joy and peace that only those who walk with Him can know. Moreover one finds that that which is of God is greater than that which is in this world, and that is the true victory (1-John 5: 4). As with Jesus, they who walk with God are in this world, yet are not of this world. I speak these things truly as God Himself has taught me these things and led me on the narrow way. May God richly bless you.

The way to follow the spirit is to follow the fruit. Divorce or Marriage?? Marriage=long suffering therefore the Spirit says stay married. There is a gift of discerning the spirits which we all have common Sense on. Joy from sinning is joy from the devil. Patience for your neighbor to leave so you can rob them is patience from the devil. Therefore Satan has identical fruit to the HS but it's opposite. You need discernment to know which fruit your in. The Lord Jesus Christ has delivered me from drug addiction, homelessness, abusive relationships, evil spirits (yes they're real) , sexual immorality, swearing, lying, stealing, laziness.. and even more. I give all the glory to Him. All praise and worship belong to God. He is real. He is bigger than any problem you face. He will meet you where you are at. Even right now. (Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Currently I'm experiencing a demonic attack. But I am standing on The Word of God which says I have authority over devils and we are commanded by Christ Jesus to drive/cast them out. So I'm will continue to drive them out in The Name of Jesus Christ. Friends I implore you to do the same. The devil doesn't want us thinking it's real. We have authority over it! All of them. Act.19:2 ( since not when ! ). Rom. 8;9. Act. 7:51. Act. 2: 38. 1Cor.12:13. Just impossible for a believer having already received The HS not walking in The Spirit. Every Word of GOD is inspired by the HS unless you are an intellectual believer !.
What happens if you thought you found the person God had for you, had peace, felt confirmation from the Holy Spirit, married them, then lost all peace, and are harrassed by the bees as it were? What then? You wrestle with questioning God, questioning yourself, and weary. Nothing goes the way you thought the promise would. And you are stuck. You feel tricked, and trapped. Yet you felt it was God's will for you to enter into union with that person. Very difficult.

Yes David Wilkerson was a good brother in the Lord, but we need to stop glorifying these ministers and instead give God all the glory. God is the one who gives the growth and the increase, all of these ministers are vessels of The Holy Spirit. Glorify God and not man.

Summary:It is possible to live walking in the spirit whole day.Holy spirit God is in His temple (my body).His promise is to be with me and guide me all the time.if only i stop doing my own will(walking in flesh) and listen to His still small voice and JUST SAY YES to his guidance I am walking in the spirit.
Walking in the Spirit is surrendering all to Jesus and then waiting on his word to guide us and lead us in truth and love. When we get a word we discern it's relativity to the scriptures and then we obey what we are told to do. The Spirit is always with us and constantly giving us commands.
Yes commands. But more than that, the Holy Spirit gives us power, help, reassurance, peace, encouragement, reveals truth, spiritual fruit, boldness, guidance, and a host of other invaluable treasures.
When you take time in rest and wait till He talks. Dont forget those words, but Wright it down. And obey, His love guides you how to obey. Be sensitive. Take this daily quiet time. This is I think obeying in Truth and in Spirit. The Kingdom of God is in you. You grow in faith.

In the past few months I have rediscovered David Wilkerson. I have heard no less than 60 of his sermons here on TH-cam. All I've heard I'd give 5 stars (*****); but this one - "How to Walk in the Spirit" -- I'd have to assign 12 stars (************). I've already listened to it twice, but expect to continue again, and again until I am totally absorbed with his message, and I begin to live out the "YES, and AMEN" part.

Jim May Hello, Jim. I felt the same way as I listened to this sermon. However, when I heard this pastor use the f word at 34:52, I have my doubts now about him walking in the spirit especially during a sermon about walking in the spirit. Using that word was definitely yielding to the flesh.

before Jesus was baptized me in the Holy Spirit, I heard a voice saying confess your SIN then I did it, when I was attended an intercessory prayer that was Sept. 2011, During our worship I heard the Sound of Wind blow up my Head turning back and forth then I feel a cold from Head to toe. That was my encounter in John 3 : 8.
I WAS HATED AND DISCARDED BY FAMILY AND SATAN TORMENTD ME .THIS TREE OF LIFE TREE OF FRUIT HAS DRIED MY TEARS.
I've been a believer and accepted Jesus back in the early 80's and ridiculous as it might sound, I have accepted him over and over again. Long story short, I still commit sins and it bothers me. I've yet to have received a water baptism. Maybe that's an issue? I need to learn how to walk in the Spirit.
There is only one WAY, Jesus is the way. Follow Jesus, be more like Him every day! We pray that God will give you strength to overcome those sins that troubles you.

15:30 "I want to make this simple so a child can understand it". Lost people don't need strict exegesis! They don't even know what exegesis means. Do you think a heroin addict on the street is waiting for someone with a masters degree in divinity to come share Christ with them? This is the kind of garbage that Jesus rebuked. Pharisee mentality where everything has to be educated. 1 Corinthians 2:4 Paul says that he didn't preach with enticing words and strict exegesis.... He just spoke to people with the power of the Holy Spirit. Who God calls, He equips. David Wilkerson was called and equiped. I pray this message convicts and falls heavy on anyone who thinks preaching must be according to a programmable pattern and that 40 hours of study a week must go into proper preparation for Sunday morning. Meanwhile, people are being lost every second while you prepare your exegesis. Good gracious and God have mercy on us for our blindness. Please Lord continue to take the simple and foolish things in this world and confound the wise with them. Help us to get our heads out of the "art" preaching and get our hearts back to you.
I enjoy Wilkersons messages but no one in scripture ever prayed to Holy Spirit as far as I have read nor did Paul ever in his opening salutations to the churches ever bring up Holy Spirit as he did with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I wonder why many do this when it's not Biblical. If someone ever prayed to Holy Spirit in scripture I'll be more than happy to see it and accept it as Biblical.
Unfortunately, this message has similarities to the prosperity gospel: "If you walk in the Spirit, your life will go well for you. You will never be deceived and you will reap the full blessings of God. If you walk in the flesh, your life won't go well." That is not true, as all of the disciples and martyrs will attest. Even Christ's life did not "go well" from a human perspective and He was walking with the Father every second of His life. This kind of theology also breeds a kind of judgment to those who are struggling in life and implies they wouldn't be struggling if they were walking in the Spirit.
Spirits are a figment of imagination. Don't be deceived by religious con men seeking to relieve you of nothing but your money!

Carry your cross is crucifying the flesh it's living as a representative of Christ - when the world is eating and drinking, watching t.v, playing games and partying, you are fasting, praying, studying God's word, and keeping your eyes on Christ, testifying of Christ
That is carrying your cross, caring your flesh and the pain of your personal desires which go against God's Spirit and are at constant war with one another.
@@seizethediaz Thank you for your insightful reply. There is actually a huge misconception about the cross. In the NT the word used was actually stake. The symbol of the cross, which is universally used and understood in christendom today, did not come to the fore until the 6th century.
This needs to be distinguished from the work of the Spirit crucifying the flesh with the arrows of the Almighty (1-Corinthians 1: 18, Job 6:4).
The Lord took me out of the church to learn this 'secret,' and I have now written a book on the experience of carrying one's cross, which I soon aim to get published (neither do I expect it to be a best seller). It is not an easy walk, but it is Jesus' narrow path to eternal life.
Prosperity theology does not lead to eternal life, but carrying one's cross does. The Spirit gives life, but such ultimately has no purpose, unless the flesh is crucified (Romans 8: 13).
@@malcolmabram2957 I carried my cross 9 years ago, around 20 miles a day just over a year. I once lived blindly obeying my spirit that heard form Gods Spirit. He has taken my life away, and I follow Him knowing that He is in all control of everything and everyone, no matter where they are in their life. There is no fear of God.

Near the end of my walking, I made an 8' 4x4 wooden cross that had a sign that said, "LOVE". I carried it almost 6 miles and this is where I will die. I had a spirit tell me how I would die and God gave me a vision of where I will die, both happened years apart and by faith, it completely sux but at the same time, I cant wait for it to be over with.
After all my work, Ive learned, there is absolutely no fear of God.
I have seen the cloud as it was white and when it was red. Praise God He never left me even though I deserved it. The Blood of Christ saved me.💝

@@rayray2878 you are absolutely right. There is only one truth and that is the testimony of the Holy Spirit in your heart (1-John 2:27). The difficulty is to know whether we have heard Him or not. If He truly has spoken then we are tested. If the testimony is of Him He empowers us to stand with His grace and thereby we prove what that has been said is true. What He has said, literally becomes part of us as a being. However, that which is not of Him will fall away. The danger in much charismatic teaching is that to follow Jesus is all joy and wondrous things. Often it is not, but a trial and as Jacob, a wrestling match to prove God's will. But when we stand the trial we come forth as gold (Job 23:10). In the end it is only those who suffer with Christ who are glorified with Christ (Romans 8:17), and such is the narrow path (Matthew 7:13). I apologise for quoting so much Scripture, but I feel you can see through the Gospel of prosperity and its many false prophets. Beside it is God Himself who is our reward (Genesis 15: 1), His joy and His peace, the joy and peace that only those who walk with Him can know. Moreover one finds that that which is of God is greater than that which is in this world, and that is the true victory (1-John 5: 4). As with Jesus, they who walk with God are in this world, yet are not of this world. I speak these things truly as God Himself has taught me these things and led me on the narrow way. May God richly bless you.

Act.19:2 ( since not when ! ). Rom. 8;9. Act. 7:51. Act. 2: 38. 1Cor.12:13. Just impossible for a believer having already received The HS not walking in The Spirit. Every Word of GOD is inspired by the HS unless you are an intellectual believer !.
What happens if you thought you found the person God had for you, had peace, felt confirmation from the Holy Spirit, married them, then lost all peace, and are harrassed by the bees as it were? What then? You wrestle with questioning God, questioning yourself, and weary. Nothing goes the way you thought the promise would. And you are stuck. You feel tricked, and trapped. Yet you felt it was God's will for you to enter into union with that person. Very difficult.

Thanks 😊😊😊😊😊 for this .in 2019 the holy spirit told me to not visit st.louis for a family wedding. My mother attended it and was looking for me. I didn't attend and the following Jan she slipped into a coma and went to heaven.
Yes David Wilkerson was a good brother in the Lord, but we need to stop glorifying these ministers and instead give God all the glory. God is the one who gives the growth and the increase, all of these ministers are vessels of The Holy Spirit. Glorify God and not man.
