Thanks buddy
awesome ty
Going to try this. Added a Takegawa scrambler exhaust to my Monkey which alone shouldn't require remapping. Been running fine but during the last couple rides felt a quick little stutter while on throttle while excelling a couole times. This morning get a sold CEL with 2-3 second continuous beep. CEL goes out. Bike does not start. May have to look at ignition coil, plug, injector etc.
Dumb move on my part... no issue but myself. Appreciate the info provided here though.
Or just remove the exhaust, and put one back on it that will work with your setup. I have noticed that these bikes do not do well with modifications, they usually require some sort of tweaking tuning crap that you'd rather not deal with. And it has a tiny little catalytic converter I think? Which would also cause a problem.
The computer is not your issue. The mods you did are the issue. Remove them, and the bike will run perfectly.
It's unfortunate, but, this bike does not do well with "mods." It wants to be as close to stock as possible. I see so many people wanting to "hop" this bike up, and all they do is run into problems. Maybe buy a faster bike? This is not some performance bike. It's a glorified kids' minibike that is street legal. Leave it mostly stock and it will run fine. (and I totally understand the desire to MOD stuff.)
Any idea on code 23? I’m in the Uk.
Bike is running rich and not idling, new o2 sensor fitted, no change, got 48mpg last night.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Ps it’s a CRF250L but presumably the codes are the same!?
Remove the mods
No mods, bike is completely standard
OK, why did it start acting up? Has it always? What have you done that caused it.
Bought it second hand, no mods, always been like this.
