Thank you. I first took B1 for horrid nightmares and anxiety [Dr berg]. I watched you and your information on '' induced nutritional deficiency from commonly prescribed medications''. Weened myself of benzo and another med under my supervision 😉as it was a light dose ...... and by watching eonutrition on the dose. I now take around 1500 mg daily of the weaker type but feel 100 % better. No more brain zaps .... anxiety etc. (also low carb ) Thank you Dr Peter for your help .... 🥰
Didn't know b1 was required to make acetylcholine. That's explains a lot since my fav class of nootropic stimulants for my ADHD are those that boost acetylcholine. It works so well for me, not completely, but really well.
I have digestive issues, hypothyroid and osteoarthritis. I presently take Benfotiamine. What's the difference between Thiamine vs Benfotiamine. Would Thiamine be a better supplement than Benfotiamine?
My benfotiamine is fat soluble vs most Bs are water soluble. I have had better results with the benfotiamine in terms of energy and my autoimmune issues.
Low vitamin b1 makes it difficult for the body to absorb other vitamins!! Benfotiamine 600-1200 mg daily! My heart started beating do much better after just 4-5 days taking only 600 mg benfotiamine. I will also order thiamax cause that one goes through the blood brain barrior.
@ainahaga I agree. He does take a Natural B complex in the morning and then Benfotiamine in the afternoon. I believe it’s 600mg. But he just started taking them so we will hope for improvement soon. His heart doctor didn’t do or prescribe anything.
Hi,what is ATP exactly? Most vitamin B1 supplemets only have 100mg, how many of these would we have to take to, at least get the minimum daily amount? A bit confused with how much we should be taking and need a class in milligrams and all the other dosages. 🤔😂😂
Start with 300 mg and up your doses to 600 mg then 900 mg then 1200 mg. Im at 1200 mg daily now. Im so excited cause Ive been soooo tired lately it has been insane! Feeling cold too. Havent almost been able to go for walks cause so tired and exhausted.
What do you do if it is a malabsorption problem...low in copper, ferritin, high b12 (always), likely paradoxical, no detectable molybdenum, iodine and selenium in normal range, low in b1..doesn't matter how much food I eat loaded w nutrients...body won't absorb...generally speaking...what should ppl like me do? Is ngs a good idea?...next generation seq to look for bacteria, virii, fungi, and parasitic infections?
I would first make sure you actually digesting foods properly, have good stomach acid, and good gut health. Investigate if any doctors medications you take cause the problem (not the supplements). Check your stool what comes out of you will give you clues. It has to be a smooth thoroughly digested mass in a sausage shape. If you see bits and pieces of undigested food, if it’s porridge like or more liquid, if it’s hard bits or balls - well that’s your answer. Hi in b12 - depending how high is high. High b12 could be false and indication of infection. Meaning b12 is not actually high and could be low but on the test it will look like it’s high. If you’re supplementing with iron copper etc. then check the forms of these supplements, some supplements are so bad they don’t get absorbed at all. If you’re just trying to correct deficiencies with food then good luck with that, today’s food doesn’t have good levels of nutrients to be able to bring levels up.
Since I took Metronidazole 5 years ago, I started to have awful, debilitating, extremely severe symptoms in my whole body. It took time to find functional doctor here in Belgium. Now, I have a 2.5 years old son I still breastfeed and I have mood swing, severe bloating, oesophagian spasms, anxiety, extreme fatigue, different kind of pain and I feel like living is a real trail. I know I have Candida, Sibo and IBS and a many deficiencies (better than before now). The problem is when I take VIT B1, I get SEVERE anxiety with tachycardia with the impression my body is dying. How can I deal with this? Can I take nutritional yeast instead ? It would be amazing to make a video on side effects and how to manage them. Thank you.
Hmm well b1 and magnesium go well together.. I used to get strange heart beats until I took magnesium. Then I realised why I need green foods. Everything green has magnesium in it.
It’s a paradox reaction, it worsens the symptoms initially. The first week or so but symptoms seem to disappear after a while. Also the form matters. Benfotiamine seems to be a good option as compared to Thiamine hydrochloride. 1. You need to take it with other forms of B vitamins because it may their cause diffidencies. 2. You might have to take it with magnesium
My stummach issues has gotten way better after started taking alooot of supplements so if people are deficient in nutrients it will help with supplements for sure!

1500 mg of what type? Did you build up to that dose?
Don't take B1 without taking B Complex with it.
Take all the B vitamins, not just some.
Thats important .
You also need to be taking cofactors, especially if mega dosing B vitamins.
Thank you. Very informative. I have both Benfotiamine and TTFD. I take my B1 with Magnesium 👍
As close to perfection, as usual for you, as anyone can get. Thank you.
Thank you doctor, I would never think B1 or any B vitamins are so important
Benfotiamine helps my body a lot! Especially digestion and calming my mind.
Do I take any co factors like magnesium and b complex with it and how much u take can u plz tell me?

Thanks for sharing. Very informative.

May I ask what nootropics are beneficial? Doctors just Rx stimulants.

If you have autoimune, you could have leaky gut. Research LGlutamine to help heal.
Benfotiamine is 5x more absorbable then thiamine!
EONutrition will answer your question. There is also TTFD which is another type of B1 which he talks about. www.youtube.com/@EONutrition
@@Amber-mw8nbI have better results with Ttfd as far as sleep, energy & pain.
Thank you Dr Osbourne. I would never know vitamin B1 was being depleted.
Great video.
My husband has bradycardia. Could that be because of a low B1!?

Some people can't be mind controlled 😊
I’ve always said this about myself but am afraid that AI will find a way.
I cant tolerate benfothiamine makes me crash hard .... going to try 100mg hcl daily for a bit
Have you started?
All the same effect don't waste your money
May be take half of the dose and b5 pantothenic acid about 100-200 mg stops the hypoglycemia effect of b1.
Take it with food🙂
Is 100 mg a day good.
That's good?
That's very low level.
Yes that's a good amount to work up to

Benfotiamine is a fat soluble vitamin. If you have a problem burning fat because you have metabolic syndrome will you absorb Benfotiamine?

Wow they thought inhad sjogrens. I refused all treatment and been getting by. Ima see if b1 helps some of my symptoms. How many mg a day should I try?
Try benfortiamine or AliThiamine.
200mg-600mg is fine i believe. Start with 200 and gradually increase it
