The vox are amazingly appropriate in theyr context and not ever obnoxious or shoehorned while Justin's bass growls perfectly as more than a bass guitar.. More like an entire rhythm section by himself and Danny goes without saying. Which leaves just Adam left.. What can be said for poor Adam? Well, thank God for his 79 silverburstt and his 6 digits worth of rack mount effects bcuz frankly without the absolute pinnacle of instruments he'd be no more than a walk-on guitarist and his performance both live and on the records are frankly imitable and require no more precision than what could be easily mustered up by a hungover Indian 5 minutes after waking up in his teepee

Thanks so much for this Drums Only version. It really hits home how much the double bass is utilized. I thought there was a LOT more tom work, just listening to the song. Not saying I could ever pull this off, but it's just eye opening to see (or hear) what's really going on during this song. One request: Pneuma (duh, of course) but would it be possible to just do the overhead camera with the foot camera simultaneously throughout the song? I don't know the correct words for the display. No side shots, just overhead and footwork. But thanks again for doing this. It's so satisfying to see someone cover this song perfectly.

This is awesome! It's easy to tell how much that polyrhythm fucks with a drummer's head as the second snare hit seems to sneak up on you. The other hits you're ready for but you have to disengage your brain to make the second hit on time and thus your arm doesn't float as long. Fucking rad. Keep it up, John. You're the only one that can do these tool songs any justice!
