Just gonna clarify what happened here. Burr and Hamilton meet outside a bar. They go inside the bar where John, laf and herc are loudly and drunkenly rapping. Alex joins in and then they dance around a pub, the other 3 probably hammered. They then go outside where John decides to start yell-singing near people's balconies, at night time based on the lighting. They get everyone who was in the bar or nearby to join in the loud singing. Then they go back into the bar to drink a bit more before going home, still singing.

The actor playing Burr has a terrific singing voice. I'm sitting here comparing myself to A. Hamilton and these magnificent artists and wondering what I am going to do that impacts the world as much as they do.

I prefer this to the studio version, one reason is at 0:44 in the studio version it sounds like hes just denying being stupid without being fully confident in it, but in this version when he says "im not stupid" it sounds like he's defending himself and wont tolerate being looked down on

Even though Lafayette said that he was opposed to a monarchy in France in the musical, in reality, Lafayette was opposed to France abolishing the French monarchy, and he was one of the moderates in the French Revolution who wanted to keep the King as a Constitutional Monarch, he believed that the revolutionary government should adopt the type of government to that of Great Britain, which was a constitutional monarchy that the king were to rule in collaboration with parliament and by a Constitution.

In live opera productions (and perhaps Broadway, too), the sound is usually live, but in movies, much of it -- and particularly singing -- is usually dubbed.
I can see a mike on the side of Burr's face at 0:33, which would not be there if they were dubbing the vocals. If you have sources or if you spot any more clues in the video, please post your thoughts for us.
