100% most gyms never have the right angles to do them. That goes for inclines too. 45% Incline is a waste of my time whereas I get a great pump and build with a 30% I rarely see a moveable bench that can decline as well. That is sweet.
It's crazy how much more weight you can push on decline, I always feel like I'm cheating but it does give you a good chest pump seems to isolate the chest more and take take some of the stress off the Triceps and shoulders, for me anyway. It seems like the more you decline the more it targets the chest and the more you incline it targets the shoulders and triceps.
I completely agree. Larger weights can be pushed on decline, less for flat bench and even less for incline bench. Then the absolute least amount that can be pushed is completely over head presses. At least that is my experience.
Lee Priest The Legend love the equipment and plates look phenomenal Lee keep striving for greatness Champ. Peace and blessings always Long Island 🏝 New York 💯💪🙌🤟✌️
It’s interesting how the decline bench has always bothered my left shoulder to-ins and rotator cuff. I have to be very strict and slow on my reps or it really bothers my shoulder. Doesn’t bother me much on a flat. I have never injured myself but my shoulders have gotten more sensitive over the years of training.
That's crazy because it is the total opposite for me. Haha. I think it's a different rotary cuff muscle between our injuries. Flat bench killed my left shoulder
ask lee for me sam if its better to go to failure quickly with heavy weights and less volume (reps), or is it better to lift less weight for more volume (reps) but takes longer til failure.
Depends on body type too, for some people the flat barbell bench press works well and have full armor like pecs. For me it’s not working well, nothing actually. I have flat chest, I’ve started doing with dumbbells instead of barbell in the past 6 months and maybe something has started but I look ridiculous because everything else is more developed , stupid lame genetics haha
Hey Sam can you ask lee about his h1 hummer back in the day, how did it drive ect, I recon they are sick, wouldn't mind getting one one day if I win lotto haha cheers 👍
What's the equivalent of weight difference of someone say pushing 300+ on decline on this machine (without the weight of the lever) to say a barbell decline press?
I LIKE to do decline on a bench, but i put a 25 pound plate on the end, so its only like a 5% angle and it feels really good. Also Sam, i was wondering if you could do a form video on dumbell press with Lee Priest? thank you in advance
decline is frustrating i do 15 set's to failure every time 30 seconds rest with 10 reps and i never get Doms from it try decline only work outs they suck.
I love this guy, no judgment just truth.

Good to see Lee put the clips on.

Lower Chest workouts have helped me to get rid of man boobs. they use to point downwards but not they stay up more. I love lower chest workouts.

I feel flat and decline across my actual pec. Incline never gets a deep burn for me.
Love the new slogan: “Get huge and hard”!
That’s what a lot of blokes do when they see Lee in a new vid!

That's how I did it. Slight decline
Yeah I do that too for decline dumbbell, learned It from John Meadows.

Also, if you cut down from 275lbs to say 220lbs at 6’, are you likely to have loose skin / fat?
Or will that bounce back when you’re lean?
Depends what age.. at 55 skin is not going back, it's stretched and staying that way....
@@shortfattoad7317What about 25?
You should be good man. I went from 290 down to 220 with no issue regarding loose skin at the age of 23.
And I’m 6 foot three so we aren’t very far off in body type and height
All genetics
Whats the going rate for a bloke at the rub n tugggg
How do I leave a comment
It all gets dark after the advice at 4:31.
Dark!
Dont understand the problem..just put a couple of plates under the bench and voila, decline bench press
For my iso-plate loaded bench I just place a couple of dumbells at an angle under the foot support and decline away.
Why don't you wear species clothing to advertise didn't you get sponsored?
This is a good decline. Most decline benches angle are too steep in my opinion.
What’s with the prosthetic ears? 🤷🏻
Anyone who goes on and fcking on about transgender needs putting down
2100 for that hunk of shit come on 😂😂
Is it getting hot in here? Or is it just me?
Go rub one out knob jokey
nonbinary moobs is crazy
Wouldn't man boobs be a sign of high estrogen?
