Beautiful book overall. I'm thinking a grade between a 7.0 to 8.0 would be appropriate. I would be surprised if it gets an 8.5. Also I would make sure there's no color touch. Thanks for sharing.
CGC's Guide to Grading Comics states that they allow a 1" to 2" color-breaking corner crease (assuming it's a pristine copy) in 8.0. Your mileage may vary, of course.
I posted on your original video about not getting it graded and gave this rule of thumb: if the book isn't worth at least $500 AND it's not at least a mid-grade copy, it doesn't make sense to get it graded. You won't get enough of a premium for slabbing a low-grade copy to make sense. If you think that this book is closer to an 8.5, you're approaching that $500 threshold. If it's really a 7.5, it's closer to a $200 book. The small premium you get for grading it probably won't cover the cost of grading. This one is a coin-toss. I wouldn't grade it but I understand if someone else is willing to roll the dice on it.
Are u sending books in to cgc after they still haven't resolved the banana gate issue? See, this is why they will never resolve their issues, bc ppl will keep sending I'm not matter what wrong they do
That seller of the book is a notorious scammer on eBay. If this book was purchased, there’s most likely color touch and maybe even trimmed.
That book will come back mid grade at best, probably with color touch with slight trimming.
The scammer you are referring to I am unfortunately well aware of😢. Are the call KSH ?
thank you for your work AND keeping my mind off politics.

It matters what they paid for it…

That’s not a rule I follow. If I can make more money grading a book minus fees, even if the book is worth $100 graded vs $20 raw, I’ll grade the book.
@AutomaticComics That would make a great video: examples of books where there are huge disparities between the raw and graded values

Has it not been resolved? Submission I received back last week was fine.
You have no business guessing on a CGC grade when your not holding a book in your hands.
That’s not true at all. With decent photos you can estimate grades very accurately.
