Nothing much accomplished, except for the fact and once again a Black person showed just how well playing the race card works. Deion false flagged White colleges and universities to help secure the talents of Black players, they came to play for him, he won games, and he left to go coach at a White university where he will "steal" Black talent away from other schools to include HBCUs.
Also, Deion will use race, successful football program, and quality education to get good to decent Black players in Denver, and neighboring states like Nebraska, Texas, and Oklahoma to play at U of CB.

JSU games had many spectators in the stadiums with gratuitous tickets: area school students, friends and relatives of gate keepers, and others.
The practice is traditional and goes on at other universities and other events, including clubs and concerts! Not saying it's fair to Deion. Just saying, in a community of fans not as well off as MSU, Ole Miss, GA or Alabama, if ticket sales are not what's anticipated, gates open to fill the venue, although the coffers are only half filled.
Since the tickets for the games were electronic, debit and credit cards, only, I am told, it shouldn't be too difficult to determine if Sanders was cheated or not. If so, by how much.
Retain an independent auditor and investigators to get to the bottom of the matter, ASAP.
We cannot have JSU presented to the world in such a negative light! It reflects poorly on graduates, current students and those still determined to attend.

To include, he wanted to bring his sons, and maintain a social media presence. U of CB is in a desperate state, so they are one of the few schools a level up from JSU who is willing to take such a risk. Everyone keeps referring to "how much he brought to JSU". Exactly how much did he bring? JSU has an endowment of only $43m, and is operating in the red, because only the interest earned from the endowment investments are used towards expenses. Each sold out home game brings in approximately $2.5m but is used towards the expense of hosting the game, auxiliary expenses, with the remainder absorbed into the general school funds.
The school negotiated out of their Nike contract and negotiated a contract with Under Armor due to Deion's personal contract, so that was a wash. The school did not score a major television contract. So outside of media attention via Deion's celebrity notoriety, what did they gain so much? Deion did not blow the school until the end of his second year after their first championship win under his tenure.
Concerning their stadium. JSU has owned the stadium since 2011. The school secured a $250k fact finding grant from the State of Mississippi to help put together a committee to look into possible ways to fund a new stadium to include possible costs, and locations. So far this year, the most that has occurred was a passed referendum showing the City of Jacksonville and the State of Mississippi will discuss possible ways to fund a new stadium. That referendum is scheduled to be submitted to the State of Mississippi legislation in early 2023.
Deion's tenure has been more urban legend than actualities.

As a graduate of an HBCU, Yes miss appropriation of funds at HBCU’s happens a lot and that’s really sad! HBCU’s would receive a lot more donations if the funds were appropriated correctly.
To the people who think that this information isn’t true, why would Coach Prime lie about the ticket sales money when the stadium was packed every game over 58,000 and he’s told that the sales receipts were only for 29,000. If JSU Administration claims the information in this story is untrue, then where is Coach Prime’s money for the percentage of ticket sales over 30,000. If they had paid him, he would have said so because the man is very outspoken and he keeps it REAL!
Bottom line, Coach Prime came to JSU, took the players under his wing and treated them like his family, donated part of his salary, paid for a beautiful new locker room, won 2 championships, paid for them to fly, put them in a hotel, fed them good food and water, when the water was unsafe to drink, brought so much attention to the JSU program as well as SWAC and how JSU and people near him pay him back by breaking in his office and automobiles and stealing personal items, not paying him money that’s due him! Coach Prime did so much for JSU because he loved those players and he wanted so much for them to succeed that’s why he did what he did!!
Also, for you all who saying it was all about him, it doesn’t matter because all the attention JSU received and all the celebrities’ donations was because of Coach Prime! Nothing was happening at JSU prior to his arrival and JSU wouldn’t have everything they received, so it doesn’t matter if it was “All About Him!”

    They tried to play him...
Man is 55 years old and blessed not to have CTE.
I support him dipping 100% and that was before I heard about all this BS.

If another coach wanted to go there, they will be thinking twice about it. I know I would. When you steal from me, not once, not twice, but 3 damn times. Spit in my face and tell me it's raining. He did all he could. I'm out.

Why would he lie about that but he is really wondering why the money is not making it back to the football players . He was steady digging into his own pockets and they kept expecting him to do it for more years ? They are ridiculous for using the football team as their own personal currency. There needs to be a detailed expense account report cause if they weren’t stealing they would have proof .

Thanks Deion Sanders for leaving a blue print for former HBCU NFL players to follow. Please leave before haters endanger your life or the life of your children because they can't eat off you anymore. Among Us is not a game in our neighborhood it is a reality.

    “PREACH “
Haters ‼️JSU administrative team from security, and now they’re caught. That’s the problem they have been guilty all along. And he has been dropping little nuggets here and there, but nobody has put the puzzle together until he’s walking away. I do not feel that he would have expose them. Had they tried to do right by him but because they’re trying to come for him he’s gonna tell them all.

You’re right. The President should come out and ease things over with the fans and tell them to get off Deion because the last thing he wants is for people to start investigating Deion’s statements.

Why should he have stayed longer? So they could steal more money from him and the football program??

The man told the story way before he decided to leave. Anybody that is willing to go in their own pocket for thousands of dollars to care for his kids isn’t going to tell no lies on the faculty! His kids know what’s up and still rocking with Prime and so am I.!!!

I went TSU in mid 2000s when the president was indicted for stealing. It’s a HUGE issue in HBCU’s unfortunately 😢

If they would’ve fulfilled the contract that they agreed upon, not had this man come out of his pocket so much, not play with the funds and worked with him to get more sponsorship for the school then I’m sure he would’ve stayed. Nobody has time for this clown mess. This is one of the reasons why a lot of people don’t want to mess with some HBCUs.

@@eaglemusic2000 when I say come out of his pocket so much, I wasn’t referring to the locker room. I was referring to taking care of the team at the school as well as on the road. As far as fulfilling the contract, they didn’t do so when it came to ticket sales. Yeah, many people know the whole truth but aren’t telling it. Let’s be honest, JSU is not willing to own their part in why Mr. Sanders left; because to do so will mean they would have to tell the whole truth about what they did.
