Do you keep the potatoes in the dark? I take mine out of the bag, put in a basket in the cabinet. They last really long. Of course, you're in Australia and I'm i the US...probably different somehow. LOVED your haul!

Great haul. The marinated pork looks good and great price per kg. When my kids were in nappies I didn't like the newborn ones from Aldi but once they were out of newborn size the Aldi ones were great.

I guessed $137! Love the spice jars and the prep at the end. It sets it apart from lots of other grocery hauls. Would definitely be interested in a meal prep video or a video of what your family typically eat in a week. Great video :)

Aldi prices have gone up and just about non par with Coles n woolies home brand prices......quality brands at half price often cheaper than Aldi sadly as I love Aldi

Would love to see what meals you make especially the curry (love curries). I must check out my Asian grocer for spices as supermarket so expensive. With the mustard powder, I had to get some recently and so hard to find......ended up having to buy the Keens mustard powder in the yellowish tin (just like the orange tin for keens curry powder).....was around $4.80 and not man6 recipes use it so seems a waste for a recipe but....

So many main meal meats, you did well for your money. Meal plan looks delicious 😋 What are you going to do with the MSG? When I was young and we got Chinese takeaway my Mum always asked for no MSG 😂 they always got annoyed because I’m sure they used it in pre made sauces etc

As another Aussie I can reassure you that the cost of food here in Australia has blown all out of proportion. Have you considered starting Cash Envelope Stuffing System? I would suggest maybe look at the following Aussie TH-camrs - Nikki Beal, Ellen.plans, Bessie Budgets, Aussie_Budgets_With_ Mel just to get an idea and start small. I started a couple of weeks ago and have a small amount of savings already. Admittedly, when you are struggling to start out on a new way of saving and building a small nest egg to help your family it is a struggle. So glad TH-cam recommended you. Subbed straight away and look forward to many more of your future vlogs.
