I used to work on a farm. That "rocket" looking thing in the clip looks almost exactly like a piece of equipment called a Prelater. It is used for spreading seeds over a large area and looks just like a conical fountain when in use. To give a sense of scale, they are about twelve to fifteen feet tall. Dunno if that is helpful ?
Could be cool if it is. Great symbolism. A prelater spreading seeds. But whose? Reference already to Templars. And a prelate is a high-ranking clergy member. Possible correlation.
Using HL2 maps is ingenious. I wish that more creators used mixed media, as well. It brings everything together so nicely and really does elevate the work. It's sad that the person behind this just gave up, but I can understand. When the internet is on a case, everything can be gone through incredibly quickly.
What I sincerely hope is that the creator didn't die. Sadly that is a thing that happens, real life is a bitch. You can find plenty of videos on known YTers who've died, what's sadder are the ones who likely have died we don't even know about, having either nobody close to them to share the news, nobody who knew of their YT activity or people simply wishing to keep it a private matter. Of course it's possible it's someone who might've just lost interest in the project (can anyone see if their activity ceasing coincided with the whole Megaupload raid that occurred? If that was the only place the person kept the entirety of the files to their maps then... well, shit - that's reason alone to abandon a project if the entirety of your project is gone for good due to shitty media conglomerates who have governments deep in their pockets). I'm just one of those "hope for the best, expect for the worst" type of people, and in many instances of things I've run into in my life, hope doesn't necessarily spring eternal... sorry to be a downer, I try not to be, just expressing a possibility that I hope isn't the case (and maybe provide a little food for thought for many channels that just... stopped abruptly. Still wondering what happened to Lord Fussington, a guy who put together a nice guide for Demon's Souls and some of Dark Souls 1 and 2 and had a regularly scheduled Stream on Twitch. Activity, both streams and videos, abruptly stopped a long time ago. I was about to mention BigMacDavis til I just saw he uploaded a video a month ago, need to see that and where the hell happened to him these past few years!).
Alright! Patreon supporters were quick to the draw and beat that code pretty quickly. Turns out it's in the language of the Cipher Alphabet for the old order of the Knights Templar. The message is... pretty much what we've already gotten from the uploader: "I'M STILL STUCK EMAIL TAPE ON THE." No link will be provided in the description, as it's no longer needed. Now, let's just see if a revival ever happens for this series, and we can continue our investigation.

Excellent video. I was planning on covering it on my own, but you've done better than I would've. I remember back when this was going on. The only other contenders at the time were all Slenderman related, plus the usage of the Half Life 2 maps made it not just refreshing, but possibly revolutionary. There are a few additional things to note: -In map 1, the jumpscare's sound effect was akin to warped laughter, or a harsh, high pitched, barking vocalization. -Map 2, the cave in and the burned body, to me at least, appear to be parts of the same entity. -From the clips on the channel, the beings with blacked out facial features, with humanoid, armless bodies, are one of the major focuses. In the maps, you see burned bodies. This, coupled with the rocket spewing liquid and the need for an underground complex, gives me some vibes of a sort of nuclear fallout. -One of the shots of the armless monsters shows a bizarre, moving fountain pattern around it. It's similar to the rocket like object's gushing black liquid. And as we can see from the encounters with the beings in the game maps they appear in, they can cause a swift death, seemingly without even taking direct actions to harm you, such as biting. This also falls in with my idea of the fallout, and these things emit a lethal radioactive field around them. -Finally, the last map. There technically is an exit to the last tunnel, a bright, white and red tube, illuminated by sunlight, and a ladder leading out of it. The way the map was designed made climbing the ladder impossible, leaving the player to have no choice but to look back. You can see what's chasing you: a pale, armless monster, just like the ones in the videos. It is streaked with blood. Here's to hoping someone can decode that triangle puzzle. This mystery has been haunting me for five years.
We solved it back when it was going on. The code is a simple substitution cypher called templar code. Each one of those symbols corresponds to a letter. The puzzles in the videos were solved by emailing the given email address. Codes often led to map downloads and unlocked videos. Unfortunately the puzzles were being solved at breakneck speeds and the creator couldn't keep up. The last email he/she sent out was something along the lines of "you guys solved the puzzles too quickly, so i'm not doing this anymore"
Thanks for giving more information. It's unfortunate that the creator stopped altogether due to fast progress, but I can personally understand. Making maps in Hammer is definitely on the more difficult end of things, especially compared to more modern engines like Unreal or Unity. A "reboot" or continuation is definitely more doable using those tools, but since we have no contact with the creator, this series itself is not going anywhere. Hopefully others will take inspiration from foundonthetape's successes and do some similar methods of progression.
Yeah it really sucked when he stopped doing it because it's honestly one of the creepiest and most mysterious ARGs out there. It's right up there with This is My Milwaukee in my opinion. I completely understand taking forever to make maps in hammer. That shit sucks lol. I've tried and failed many times. And we were solving the puzzles like nobody's business. Everyone thought it was an ARG for Half-Life 3 for some reason, so you can only imagine the rush to solve it. I can only hope that the creator will see this new found interest in his story and decide to start it back up again. I'm so glad NightMind does this stuff, thought this was dead and buried.
I always thought the "fallout" was localized to the underground facility and stems from the (accident?) with the missile we see in one of the videos, which may be connected to the creation of these armless creatures. We can clearly see that in the videos the outside world looks just fine besides these armless things that appear all the time and seem to be the center focus of the videos which leads me to the disturbing conclusion that after killing everyone in the underground facility (intentionally or not) the creatures must have escaped or started leaving and began wandering around the outside world. If you follow this line of reasoning you can almost see a sort of classic horror story of science gone wrong (albeit extremely unorthodox in its form of presentation and style.) But even then there are a ton of unanswered questions. -How were these monsters created? Is it in fact related to the missile? -Are these monsters former humans or accidentally created entities? -How intelligent are these things really and whats their motivation? Are they even intentionally killing people? Are they even aware of the field that surrounds them which causes people to die?
i just wanna say thanks for the videos, i'm going through some rough times with my parents at the moment, and your videos really help take my mind off of it in a positive way. and my last video before i go to sleep, i will gladly watch
Well it's a surprise seeing this. I sort of followed Found on the Tape on Facepunch back in 2011. By the time it fizzled out there was a sort of consensus forming that it would develop as a story of a somewhat Centralia-esque incident involving the spreading of toxic, destructive chemicals underneath a town forcing that town's population into a survival state, many of them being driven into the tunnel systems of the town, and that only exposing them to those chemicals further - presumably creating the monsters seen in what we've got of the series when not simply resulting in their deaths.
Man I remember when the Facepunch Forums (the official forums for Garry's Mod) attempted to solve this case and there was a bunch of funny comics made about the severed head and armless person.
you'll be fine, Everyone goes through that. You think your fucked, you stress out but by the end of the year you manage to get a passing grade. Remember D's get degrees. Usually most courses have a final exam that if you can manage to scrape by all year and pass the exam you'll pass. Some prof's will even give you extra assignments to bump your grade, but only if they;re really really nice
me listening to this on my bed about to fall into slumber "players would then be greeted with a jumpscare.." now awake, aggressively turns to phone and tapping on the screen NM didn't play the clip sighs in relief
Could be. That's unfortunate it it is the case, as I feel they were doing pretty excellent work and had a LOT of potential. Even if they did drop off permanently, Found On the Tape is quite the inspiration for what can be done with mixed media.
Night Mind it's sad. people either get frustrated when they run out of ideas or they disappointed if they feel the project isn't gaining enough attention.
He emailed us all in the end and told us that we were solving the puzzles quicker than he could make them, so he wasn't going to do it anymore. We would correctly solve a puzzle, and nothing would happen for a while, so we would try to solve it another way because we though we hadn't solved it. Little did we know that nothing was happening because the dude was making videos and maps as fast as he could. People thought this might be an arg for Half-Life 3 bizarrely enough, so everyone was on the case. I helped solve the triangle symbols a while back. They are a simple substitution cypher called templar code. The puzzles in the videos were solved by emailing the person. The rewards were map downloads and new videos. Hope I helped!
CRSH3000, I can imagine it was tough on him just working alone. I suppose a way to bypass this problem would be to have it entirely completed before public release. That way when people solve it you just release the already made next part of the game. The downside would be you couldn't completely tailor it to play along with your audience. Though maybe making multiple paths and/or simply editable prefabricated material could be a way to find a middle ground option.
Can you imagine the possibilities and implications this would have on gaining hype for a new game or movie? We've been moving forward as new entertainment becomes more and more interactive. Puzzle-solving tropes like this are fun and surprisingly inclusive, making it one I hope stays around for a while. Thanks for sharing, Nick!
Oh boy does that take me back, one of the first creepypasta I was exposed to back in "the glory days" of the early Creepypasta website, before it got kinda same-y and the quality dropped...
hey night mind, i'm a big fan, i'm relatively new to your channel as your dhmis video only popped up in my suggestions box a few weeks ago but i have to say that after watching almost all of your uploads i'm completely hooked. i work the night shift and i love getting off work at 12 and getting home and shrouding myself in dark and just absorbing your content for about 4 hours straight lol. great video as always, can't wait for the next upload!
I'm glad to see his subscriber count rise! He definity deserves it for all the work needed to be done to edit these, and to do hardcore footage analysis, keep it up!
The original earth tunnel complex image was from a 1977 tape called "Project Tunnel" talking about a tunnel system to assist in surprising enemy soldiers during wars.
Nick, the work you put into every one of your videos is inspiring. You deserve SO much more attention than you have, and to the people who say that he should upload more often obviously don't realise the work that goes into every single one of your videos. Thanks for the hours of fun and keep doing what you're doing man
Ah yes, just a few seconds in and I get to see a squashed head eith no eyeballs. And the camera was set on the head for an uncomfortable amount of time
@@yoshimanrpg both are scary as fuck, but in my opinion eyes are scarier when put along with a screamer and no eyes are scarier when left in silence for a long time
The figure stood still at the end is from a video of two (Russian? Polish? Romanian? Something like that) young men who were dicking around with a camera and see a figure limping around in the distance. They shout to it and laugh and stuff but it starts to follow them. Eventually we see it's a man with a sack on his face and right at the end it appears from an elevator, they yell, the video ends. Also the 'armless woman' is from a music video that people have associated with a certain creepypasta. Can't remember what it's called however, sorry!
Dunno if someone already pointed it out, but the "hatch" visible at 4:20 is a manhole cover used in Rome (SPQR is the initialism of the city's motto). Maybe it's an insignificant detail, but i found it curious: either the author purposefully chose that as a texture, then it would have some kind of meaning; Or more probably they just googled for a picture of a manhole cover, but knowing how tailored on the user Google's results tend to be, I would not expect that as a result unless the authors are from Rome, or at least from Italy
I remember seeing this in some multiplayer source maps where the creature in the tunnels would play the "let's put the fork in the garbage disposal" where they put the dead guy's face on the thing with no arms near the beginning. The original map is really spooky too, source is a great medium for stuff like that.
I think that the series might have been supposed to be an analogy for how you can never escape the horror of death. The armless woman is supposed to be an ethereal being to represent death.
I saw a playthrough of this, and they even escaped the monster. At the very end, they turn back to look at it... it isn't what you're thinking it is, it's somehow even worse.
I FOUND OUT WHAT THE CYPHER IS AT 5:27 OF THE VIDEO!!!!!! the cipher in the video is the knight's templar cipher, and the message says, "IE STIK STUKL EAIK TAPEONTHE." I place it into auto-correct to see if it could make it out a bit better and this was my result. "IE STICK STUCK ERIK TAPEONTHE." this was, unfortunately, all I was able to decode. :( If anyone else would like to dig a bit deeper and try to decode it farther be my guest. :)
Your videos are always a joy to watch, and considering they always seem to appear before I have to get ready for bed and school the next day... I'd say "love/hate" is a fair way to describe how I feel :P
oh, how i love your videos! it is just purd amazing the depth and detail you go! i have been watching since alantutorial, and i dont plan on leaving anytime soon!
pulling an all nighter and catching up on some case files. i didn't need sleep but some of this guaranteed i didn't want sleep anyway (esp with that clip of someone with their eyes and mouth blacked out. i don't know why that hits me so hard in the Fear Center.)
I remember being on /v/ around 2011 and there were threads on two(?) steam profiles who had that face in the stair banisters as their profile picture before the video was uploaded. That's all I really remember apart from the HL2 map. Perhaps they're archived somewhere but good luck digging something like that up from back then. A shame.
Thanks for another great find Night Mind! Still waiting for a TJAProjects video, but it's hard to be upset when you provide us quality and interesting stuff like this.
Hey NM Long time listener , first time commenter , just wanted to say good job dude your videos are some of the only good ones on TH-cam these days , everyone round of applause for NM
Once again, another astonishing video; just like Camdrome, if the creators are interested in continuing the story, I know you can get your audience to move it forward. I think it would be pretty cool if you looked into NationSquid and Ascensionism Records. Both would likely go down as Case Files, but both are bizarre and full of odd twists and mind-bending puzzles.
I think you got the info mixed up. The code was deciphered and it told them to send mail. I think this is what prompted to the link to be mailed out, but I'm not 100% on this last part. It is a Templar cipher. Black frames are used for spaces. It translates to: "IM STILL STUCK [M]MAIL TAPHONTEH" It is often written that the solution is "I'm still stuck email tapeonthe/taponthe" with tapeonthe possibly being a scramble of Found on the tape rearranged, or TapOnThe implying an actual tap to escape the room. Tape on the is considered the correct solution, presuming that is how the link to the last game mod was distributed. Email is incorrect in the solution. E is a triangle facing a completely different direction. It looks like it is "M" from "Mail" lasting 2 frames, and could've been done to confuse. TAPHONTEH... I'm not sure why H is in the solution instead of E, or why the word The is scrambled into internet slang, but you can slow down the video on their channel to 0.25x and click play and then pause immediately and it'll move forward 1 frame at a time, allowing you to write the codes down. Then use a Templar Cipher to decode. I could've written it down incorrectly, but I'm confident that it is TAPHONTEH, not Tape on the.
finally! remember digging thru these maps when they were released. defo one of my favorite ARG's.. let's hope the creator starts it up again thanks to you, Night Mind.
Nick, could you make a video about KrainaGrzybowTV? Some youtubers have already made their videos about this channel but I'm interested in your way of explaining it's possible meaning. As far as I know it was made by a couple of students from my hometown as a kind of an art project or something like that.
imsadthattimeescapesme You could just make a meaningless twitter acc just to send your suggestion to him (that was the whole purpose of my twitter account,to be able to interact with certain people, but just like facebook,i dont really care if i dont log in in a week or two),or you could also download the amino app on your device and look for him there, hes active there too.
Holy craaaap, I LOVE the idea of an ARG's story being told through snippits of gameplay too! Well.. Now I have quite a few ideas.. Too bad I have no talent. If anyone with talent is reading this, Earthbound would be a great game to hack for an ARG.
I remember this! I used to extract the custom sound effects from those half life 2 maps. The "peaceful" music at the end of the second map had people talking in it. Think it said something like "this is real, this is real" and i distinctly remember it ended with "this is not a joke".
Debating whether or not to watch this video. It's getting late but not "going to bed late". it's only 11 minutes... okay... let's do it. #ImALittleScared
Update. I had trouble falling asleep last night, weird dreams, and my house already makes noises so it was an overall creepy night. Been watching too many Night Mind videos. And by "too many" I mean not enough. I can't stop!! :D
dear night mind: love your content, i was wondering if you could help to find a video i saw a few years back, DESCRIPTION: an urban explorer was checking out a large mansion/castle that was under construction or restoration, it was i think a longer video with no commentary but still had the natural sounds of being alone and scared, the urbex saw quite an amazing building and was jumping at every noise he/she heard, at the end of the video there was a great deal of paranormal activity and the urbex tried to make a get away and when reaching the entrance the urbex turned to confront a noise from behind and turned to find nothing but turned back to the entrance to meet a grizzly end at the hands of what appeared to be a Japanese ghost (girl in white with long black hair) that also had a huge mouth and rows of teeth, can you help me? (might be a good upload, scared the shit out of me!)
Been procrastinating on watching this since you put it up on patreon, just because the title card kind of really freaks me out. Time to be a coward this morning and finally watch it.
So I was messing around with the fourth map of this last night, the map had been ported to Gmod and me and a friend were just kind of messing in it. My friend found something I haven't found anyone else say which was discovered by pure coincidence. In the fourth map in the maze you start off in, it's huge and there's a big part of the maze which leads nowhere but in circles. I got to the part of the map where you get the box in your way and go into the pit into the water area. As soon as I did this, my friend was surprised since apparently a wall opened up wherever he was in the maze. He took a screenshot to show me, and it was a small space with a radio and signs it had been lived in. Normally you would never be able to see this, but because we were messing around in Gmod with it and by pure coincidence when I went down and he was in a completely different part of the maze he found something weird that opens up after you go down the hole. I don't know if it means anything or if it leads anywhere or what but I haven't found anything on this and we do have a video and a screenshot as proof.
The video I'll upload later, but when my friend was talking about it I asked him to take a Steam screenshot and he did. Basically just looks like this: puu.sh/xPzfU/4dc9a1a7b8.jpg I'm not sure if it leads to anything, and frankly I don't know why it's hidden in the fourth map. It literally would've been impossible to find originally as there's no way to go back up when you first go down, it only worked since we were messing around in the maps in Garry's Mod and only found it through pure coincidence (for the record in Gmod and the original the map has death walls all over the place if you try to noclip through the map). It definitely only opened once one player dropped from the 'vent' maze to the water maze in the vent maze segment, and it was in a random place that it was pure luck he was right there lost when I dropped down, I was recording from my perspective when I took the video but we discussed and dig into it a bit once we accidentally stumbled on it as I've never seen anyone really mention or talk about it before. If you want to recreate it, just have two or more people play the map on Gmod and make one player drop down. The part that opens up is to the left of the starting point, in this dead end loop that circles around for a while, the exact placement I forget but the area isn't too big and somewhat near where you start but along a dead end circuit. If it actually does or leads to something, no idea currently.
as sad as it is that this didn't get completely resolved, i can understand why it would be difficult to continue a hl2 map ARG. aside from the situation where people were solving the puzzles faster than the guy could make them, it's hard to hide any clues or solutions in source engine maps when people can just decompile them and just fly around them in hammer. i mean yeah it's kind of like taking the back entrance through a haunted house and ruining the fun, but when half of the fourth map is literally just a dead end to a maze, people are probably going to lose their patience and start breaking the map just to get through it

I slowed the video to 0.25 and saw that it was the staircase face.

In the final hl2 map, the 'earthshaking monster' was just a normal figure with, you can guess it, the same fucking face.

HyperThermal boiiiiii
i just wanna say thanks for the videos, i'm going through some rough times with my parents at the moment, and your videos really help take my mind off of it in a positive way.
and my last video before i go to sleep, i will gladly watch
Whenever I can help, I'm always glad to do so. Have a great night and a better day tomorrow!
I hope things got better for you in your life!
Hey man when times get rough you just gotta pick yourself up and keep going
In other words, keep calm and carry on
Hey bro, hope things are going well for you. Just know that things will pass and the sun will shine again.❤
Thank you for giving me any kind of answer. This project continues to interest me and I thank you for giving me this theory. I really like it
when you want to sleep, but night mind makes a video
I always know when you're in bed.
giggity
You mean never? :D
Here, same. X)
At least this is a video where you can go to bed afterwards.
it darkens my night when I see a new video from one of my fav channels.
you're amazing at what you do. don't ever stop making videos ♡
Ayyy lmao
Man I remember when the Facepunch Forums (the official forums for Garry's Mod) attempted to solve this case and there was a bunch of funny comics made about the severed head and armless person.
would you happen to have any of the comics saved? shame that a bunch of speculative info about this arg also vanished with the old facepunch forums
@@Genuline I concur, this seems interesting
1:36 I made that image my background on my school laptop. It was always a treat opening my laptop and hearing the gasps of other kids.
Late to classes, failing a test, everyone getting on my case today, just a generally bad day. Thanks Nick, really do appreciate you uploading.
Weird question but do you remember that day like 6 years later?
I'm sick and i got a Pre-Calc test tomorrow
This new video is a great way start my decline of the year!
05/28/21 EDIT: Passed it
:(
I just started my first year of college and I'm already procrastinating
you'll be fine, Everyone goes through that.

I literally turned down my volume so quick when he said that
could be the person making this series got bored and stopped before we got the answer
What about The West Records? Is that finished? It doesn't seem like it should be.
Night Mind, ever considered making a video on Ted's Caving Page?
Yes please, a classic. Would love to hear NM's thoughts on it.
Oh boy does that take me back, one of the first creepypasta I was exposed to back in "the glory days" of the early Creepypasta website, before it got kinda same-y and the quality dropped...
I don't think there'd be an awful lot to explain on it to be honest, it's just a made up creepy caving story!
hey night mind, i'm a big fan, i'm relatively new to your channel as your dhmis video only popped up in my suggestions box a few weeks ago but i have to say that after watching almost all of your uploads i'm completely hooked. i work the night shift and i love getting off work at 12 and getting home and shrouding myself in dark and just absorbing your content for about 4 hours straight lol. great video as always, can't wait for the next upload!

1:27 the crushed face pops into the screen on the left. Never noticed that before.
And the camera was set on the head for an uncomfortable amount of time
Is it just me, or is having no eyeballs creepier than having scary looking ones?
@@yoshimanrpg both are scary as fuck, but in my opinion eyes are scarier when put along with a screamer and no eyes are scarier when left in silence for a long time
Hey nick, are you a detective in real life or something?

It's been 3 years! WE NEED ANSWERS!!!!
To me this is one of the coolest things you've covered. I would LOVE to see more like this from "foundonthetape"
"...and like a monster following you through a metal maze of terrors, I'll be seeing you again real soon"
me: aww
i think this is one of my favorite ones you've covered in a while.
If it werent for Night Mind i would have never heard about all of this creeppy and interesting creations.
Thank you Nick!
Dunno if someone already pointed it out, but the "hatch" visible at 4:20 is a manhole cover used in Rome (SPQR is the initialism of the city's motto).
Maybe it's an insignificant detail, but i found it curious: either the author purposefully chose that as a texture, then it would have some kind of meaning;
Or more probably they just googled for a picture of a manhole cover, but knowing how tailored on the user Google's results tend to be, I would not expect that as a result unless the authors are from Rome, or at least from Italy
Man, a web-series that uses Half-Life 2 maps. That is COOL.
Omg nick I love your work! I'm so glad there is finally a way to support you
I remember seeing this in some multiplayer source maps where the creature in the tunnels would play the "let's put the fork in the garbage disposal" where they put the dead guy's face on the thing with no arms near the beginning. The original map is really spooky too, source is a great medium for stuff like that.
I think that the series might have been supposed to be an analogy for how you can never escape the horror of death. The armless woman is supposed to be an ethereal being to represent death.
Night mind is working too hard... I fell bad for him

Finally, someone who doesn't show the Jumpscare! Thanks a lot.
I saw a playthrough of this, and they even escaped the monster. At the very end, they turn back to look at it... it isn't what you're thinking it is, it's somehow even worse.

I've seen all those videos on Some Ordinary Gamers' Deep Web Browsing. Never knew they were connected.
Congrats

4:09 tfw you realize this video is using footage that you captured 5 years ago
(not that I mind of course. Nice vid.)
I found out that the image of the ETC (Earth Tunnel Complex) was taken from another video called: Project Tunnel
Let's do the fork in the garbage disposal.
oh, how i love your videos! it is just purd amazing the depth and detail you go! i have been watching since alantutorial, and i dont plan on leaving anytime soon!
pulling an all nighter and catching up on some case files.
i didn't need sleep but some of this guaranteed i didn't want sleep anyway (esp with that clip of someone with their eyes and mouth blacked out. i don't know why that hits me so hard in the Fear Center.)
Thanks for a new awesome video! Keep up the great work.

Niceee a night mind video, I'm gonna save this baby for after my quiz tomorrow so I can watch stress free
Okay, I'm gonna be honest, this is the creepiest and literally scariest one for me. Maybe I just wasn't ready but holy fuck.
Thank you so much for not actually jump scaring us. :)
I think you got the info mixed up. The code was deciphered and it told them to send mail. I think this is what prompted to the link to be mailed out, but I'm not 100% on this last part.
It is a Templar cipher. Black frames are used for spaces. It translates to:
"IM STILL STUCK [M]MAIL TAPHONTEH"
It is often written that the solution is "I'm still stuck email tapeonthe/taponthe" with tapeonthe possibly being a scramble of Found on the tape rearranged, or TapOnThe implying an actual tap to escape the room.
I gotta say, using half life for horror is a nice job.
Nick, I think I'm addicted to your amazing videos. I don't want help, either.
Very cool as always. Have you ever considered explaining and/or debunking your own channel?
night mind debunked
Wow, talk about taking Gmod Scary Maps to another level.
Nick, could you make a video about KrainaGrzybowTV? Some youtubers have already made their videos about this channel but I'm interested in your way of explaining it's possible meaning. As far as I know it was made by a couple of students from my hometown as a kind of an art project or something like that.
Try sending your suggestion to his twitter too,hes usually very responsive there.
lexzeyfercronus I don't have an account on twitter or any other social media, so this is my only way of communicating with youtubers.
imsadthattimeescapesme You could just make a meaningless twitter acc just to send your suggestion to him (that was the whole purpose of my twitter account,to be able to interact with certain people, but just like facebook,i dont really care if i dont log in in a week or two),or you could also download the amino app on your device and look for him there, hes active there too.
lexzeyfercronus That's a good idea. Thanks :D
imsadthattimeescapesme No problem,glad i helped.
I love your material. And your voice is perfect for what you do. Good onya, you deserve so many more subscribers.
Holy craaaap, I LOVE the idea of an ARG's story being told through snippits of gameplay too! Well.. Now I have quite a few ideas.. Too bad I have no talent.
If anyone with talent is reading this, Earthbound would be a great game to hack for an ARG.
Your channel is so god damn addicting
I must've missed this 3 years ago.
just to tell you, there's a video he didn't talk about, experimental.vhs, it looks creepy as hell
haha! me too!
I remember this! I used to extract the custom sound effects from those half life 2 maps. The "peaceful" music at the end of the second map had people talking in it. Think it said something like "this is real, this is real" and i distinctly remember it ended with "this is not a joke".
98% sure the game was just abandoned by it's creator and that's why it never moved forward.
These are the types of videos that I love best from you. I LOVE a good mystery!!! Love to see more like it.. even if you don't have an answer to it.
So, an ARG that uses Source Engine maps to help tell a story?
*DID ME FROM ANOTHER DIMENTION MAKE THIS?*
Or me from an alternate timeline?
Because I'd do that, tbh
Once again Nick, Im Satisfied. Thank You.
When I saw the title, I though it said “Flex on tape” lol
Never knew about the HL2 maps. Really awesome way to link them.

It makes my heart happy knowing Troy Wagner is a patron for this channel
dear night mind: love your content, i was wondering if you could help to find a video i saw a few years back, DESCRIPTION: an urban explorer was checking out a large mansion/castle that was under construction or restoration, it was i think a longer video with no commentary but still had the natural sounds of being alone and scared, the urbex saw quite an amazing building and was jumping at every noise he/she heard, at the end of the video there was a great deal of paranormal activity and the urbex tried to make a get away and when reaching the entrance the urbex turned to confront a noise from behind and turned to find nothing but turned back to the entrance to meet a grizzly end at the hands of what appeared to be a Japanese ghost (girl in white with long black hair) that also had a huge mouth and rows of teeth, can you help me? (might be a good upload, scared the shit out of me!)
Did you ever find the video?
AestheticGamer hey, could you please show me the evidence thanks?
The video I'll upload later, but when my friend was talking about it I asked him to take a Steam screenshot and he did. Basically just looks like this: puu.sh/xPzfU/4dc9a1a7b8.jpg
I'm not sure if it leads to anything, and frankly I don't know why it's hidden in the fourth map.
AestheticGamer thanks. I'll have a look into it.
Got a random nosebleed during this, blood started dripping down my face haha. Love that for me
Can you explain the
Rat boy genius series?
another smashing job! love your channel so much!!!

Great content Night Mind
Guys, please read this
When I searched for Clip095.mp4, I saw a video called "Consumed.vhs"
Just watch it... Or don't.
Pure, evil nightmare fuel.
... deets?
Please tell me what it is. I don’t wanna watch it
Damn i want to know
Where is it? I only see experimental.vhs
its experimental.vhs, im too scared to watch it because im alone
as sad as it is that this didn't get completely resolved, i can understand why it would be difficult to continue a hl2 map ARG. aside from the situation where people were solving the puzzles faster than the guy could make them, it's hard to hide any clues or solutions in source engine maps when people can just decompile them and just fly around them in hammer. i mean yeah it's kind of like taking the back entrance through a haunted house and ruining the fun, but when half of the fourth map is literally just a dead end to a maze, people are probably going to lose their patience and start breaking the map just to get through it
