Hey great vid, my check engine, VSC and VSC light came on. I did pull codes for P0430, C0226, C1223 and C1201. I noticed the brake fluid reserve was at the low mark and filled it. I’m hope that may have been the issue as I see no leaks on the brake system

I have same car i think. 02 GS300. We haven't been able to pass DEQ 420 code. Removed the Air Intake Hose and found crack in the reservoir so ordering that new housing intake hose. But I removed the header catalytic and the three o2 sensors. Thank you for explaining Bank 1 vs 2 so easily! Very Helpful. My question is, where does bank 2 sensor 2 plug into? It goes into a wall and I can't find it. I already unscrewed it from the pipe. I want to replace all four and see if those two fixes does the trick. Gracias amigo!

thanks! but from Denso it listed five sensors needed for this car, can you correct me?
Denso 234-4048 upstream cycliner 1-3, 4626 DOWNSTREAM CYLS. 1-3; 234-4209 UPSTREAM, DOWNSTREAM web says need 2pcs;
4630 upstream cyc 4-6, 4603 down stream cyc 4-6,

i have gs300 model 2000 it has these 2 O2 sensor but there is one more down after the cat on exshaust what is that senson wire goes inside from the exshaust to the gear

Is bank 1 sensor 1 the same sensor for bank 2 sensor 1??

I am replacing the os sensors on my 1999 Lexus GS300. I am replacing Bank 1 Sensor 1 and Bank 1 Sensor 2. Is sensor 1 the same sensor for both.

I believe that’s both 1 and 2. Your up stream and down stream O2.

Once the sensor is replaced you still need a scanner to erase the codes.

greetings, my name is Anderson Guzman, I have a lexus gs300 year 2000, the same of this video, I was changing some retainers and together because I was voting for oil, so for this the mechanic dismantled the battery and the motor and this took 2 weeks , now the car does not start and the mechanic says that the car was blocked, as a safety measure and that it is cutting the spark, please I need your help and recommendation, thank you, I am from the Dominican Republic.

If you scan the car while trying to start it the data of the engine will show you what’s going on. There might be a sensor that is not connected since your mechanic did some work on it.

Anyone knows where bank 2 sensor 1 is on a lexus IS 300 2jz..the error code on scanner says bank 2 sensor 1 circuit malfunction and its consuming a lot of fuel and also my muffler seems to be always black with black powder even after cleaning it every morning. Once I return back from work,it's always black stained with black powder. Seems my engine is running rich on fuel.
