- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is a Layer 2 protocol that runs on bridges and switches. The specification for STP is IEEE 802.1D. The main purpose of STP is to ensure that you do not create loops when you have redundant paths in your network.

The best ever channel to learn deep network protocols and concepts. Thank you.
So many MINUTE details are covered like Edge port; 8:27 Every Root port is forwarding port but Not every forwarding port is Root port..Hats off for Mr. Shaik..Great work
a very valuable information regarding CCNA's spanning tree protocol (STP), thanks for this videos.
I am also a net engineer, but tbh you really taught me a lot about STP that i didn't know. Thanks man.
The best Ever Channel

Sir, i think there is some problem with the stp videos, i cant play them till end
Do you have the packet tracer files available for practice too, please?
Thanks a lot sir
Good
Why switch 1 port f0/20 in block state. Why not switch 2 port f0/20
it is based on priority
Its based on Route Bridge,Root Ports and Designated ports as well as non-designated port is selected. switch priority value, path cost ,switch Mac,Switch physical port number.
