I was ready to pull the trigger on the "Murph" but that "Aviation Pilot" looks handsome and stands out more, without being conspicuous.
Pulled the tigger on the Murph. Love it!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
You bet, thanks for viewing.
I got the Aviation Pilot Pioneer and never regretted it. Everyone and their dog got the Murph and it looks too much like a prop for my personal taste, even if I love the movie. Wish there was some decent 18mm bracelet option for the Pilot - used one of my old Seiko Bracelet which fitted quite well. But on leather, Perlon or a nato it also works quite well. I like it!
The 'Murph' on the right for sure then the field watch on the left
The Murph looks huge next to the aviator. Feel the Murph is more all around, dressy, fieldy, as fior the aviator looks 100% field rugged! IMO.
I have been in the market for a Hamilton lately and I feel it is nearly impossible for me to pick between the 37mm Expedition in White, the 38mm Murph, and the Aviation Pilot Pioneer in this video. Pros and cons to each watch. Hamilton’s insistence on no AR coating and their lack of high-quality bands at the price point they are at just seems rough to me. I would essentially require a NATO strap for the Expedition and the Murph, as the straps on those two pieces are truly butt-ass-ugly. Expedition is more real-life rugged, Murph is more versatile, Aviation Pilot Pioneer is the most attractive in my eyes but the bezel does not feel of the best quality. Just such a hard choice
I cannot get over that Hamilton doesn't do AR coating as standard. Drives me wild!
aviation pilot pioneer for me. the textured dial is making the texts clearer. Dial face is also not busy highlighting the textured dial. when you look closely at the dial its like hardened asphalt.
Just got one, it’s a nice watch. Would make a great starter Auto. The Cathedral hand looks great. Even though only 38mm it doesn’t look like a small watch. And you can still see the dial pattern and read the Text. Would make a great everyday + Field watch.
Also got a new 38mm Blancpain 38 mm Bathyscape. It looks small but the 43 too big. But with the 38mm Bathyscape even with 2.75x reading glasses you can’t read The “ 1735”. I don’t understand why Blancpain wouldn’t want you to see that they started making watches in 1735 🤔
@@MrBrian4109 so far, it’s still one of my favorites. a GADA, it is.
Great video! This is just what I was looking for, thank you for sharing.
You're welcome! Thanks for viewing!
The Murph for sure!
The murph is great
Great line up of watches.
Khaki Field Auto, for me
Definitely the Murph.
Hi. I like the Murph
Eventhoug I am a huge Interstellar fan, my winner is Aviation Pilot Pioneer.
Hi Brad, I hope you had a good weekend. It's nice to see you back. All three watches are fine, but for me, I can't help feeling that hour numerals would have been perfect on the rotating bezel of the aviation model... Then you'd have a dual time zone piece, and I'd DEFINITELY buy that! As it is, I'd buy the Murph, but honestly, I could give all of them a good home. Just a side note, the only information you've supplied at the time of writing is the price of these. Stay safe Brad, and keep them coming! Cheers from England, Bob 🍻
Thanks for the reminder Bob. I just updated the description and all info should now be available.
@@brentmillertime8778 Thanks Brad 😊 👍👋
The one with the AR coating. Seriously what the heck is Swatch thinking with their lowest tier watches that every entry-level/level above that watch for their brands have something they skimp on.
Khaki Field Auto on a bracelet would be my pick. I'm a bracelet guy and I certainly dont understand the price difference on the Murph.
Tengo el Khaki Field de 42mm y me parece brutal, lo cierto que con pulsera de piel le queda muy bien pero es cosa de gustos;
Respecto al precio más elevado del Murph es sencillo, Interestelar
Aviation pilot looks the best
Are khaki field bracelets compatible on the Murph? Thanks for the awesome comparison video!
The Murph!
I know your under the lights but once Hamilton figured out their AR coating or lack there of I will be buying them. Filed watches should be extremely legible and these are way to flecto flashy.
Was the bezel on the Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer fixed? Every review I've seen (from about a year ago) says that it's 48 clicks, but you say 60 in this video
Great question, I'll need to check inventory to see if we still have one in stock and confirm.
I bought a pioneer. I was thinking about is the murph better? But no i think winner is aviation pioneer
Congrats, the Pioneer is a good one.
The murph has perfect dimensions, but the brownish hands and numerals just do not work for me
Any chance that’s a PA accent I hear?
Sure is, we are an AD in Lancaster.
How big is you wrist?
