Interesting. My local Garage just fitted "20% stronger" springs which has given a side effect of a 2" lift at the rear. Glad to see I can level the car using the torsion bars with minimal messing and not having to re-index the splines. Cheers!
What did you torque the rear torsion bar too?? I watched your video many, many times and I was successfully able to do it myself as my first time. Thanks a lot for the knowledge and angles in this video! Extremely well explained mate! Cheers
Yeah they adjusted it as much as they could and it was back to normal but any higher and i would have needed to install some shims to correct the camber. 2" seems to be the limit on the torsion bars without installing shims :)
Hey brotha, did you disconnect your shock / strut from the rear when you use the bottle jack between the chasis? I just tried doing this today and it seems like my strut reaches the max extension before the spring pops off. If not, I'm gonna try going tighter on the clamps.
@@BedfordshireBiker body lift would have been better but no i never did a body lift, just springs lifted in the back and torsion bar crancked to max then a few backwards turns for upfront.
Hi. They are just rear springs as the front is adjustable via the torsion bars. The rear springs were sourced from eBay. 20% uprated rear shogun sport springs in the search bar should bring them up 😁😁
@@danielbichokov1340 I'm pretty sure the Shogun Sport is different set up and only has these little ones www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suspension-Bump-Stop-Rear-For-Mitsubishi-Shogun-V24-2-5TD-V44-2-5TD-1991-2004-/332449614545?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
Just a piece of safety advice, never trust a jack, always use a secondary "just if" tool or jackstand to be safer. Love your videos ✌️
Great advise, I have now invested in some jack stands, Thanks for the concern though :)

que medias son los resortes
Where did you buy the springs?
They were from eBay. I searched for sh9gun sport 20% uprated springs
Where did you get the springs? What way did they settle is there still a decent lift
eBay. After settling it gave a good 2" lift 💪
Good day where did you get them to buy i need a set
I got them off eBay 😁
Hi, do you know how many for the torsion bar lift? And it is clockwise to lift it? Cheers
Clockwise to go up. I did 10 turns on each lowered off Jack and adjusted from there 😁
did you find the camber could be corrected at a tyre shop? I'm assuming its running on the outside of the tyres a bit?

@@LS10Works Thansk. I've just done this mod with your video as a guide - very helpful. Fingers crossed my camber can be adjusted :)

No, I just went nice and snig with the spring clamps then the springs were able to come out.. the shocks stayed as they were. Good luck 👍
So just rear coils replaced, and front ride height can be adjusted by the tortion bars?
Yeah thats it. Nice and simple, and relatively cheap mod 👌
@@LS10Works thanks man 👍🏻
Is this coil spring is fit to Mitsubishi shogun 2005 model
They are different springs. These were specific to the Shogun Sport
Hi mate, wanna ask how did u gt to make the turbo sound louder. I own a 2.5td
Hi mate I just ditched the air box and banged on a cheap cone air filter. Made it sing 😁😁
@@LS10Works thats a good idea.ill try it and thank u
No worries. I've just remembered it was decatted too so that helps the turbo whistle too
Thought that will make the car sounds bad. But will try it anyway.nothing to loose lol
Have you got a link to the cone filter you put on Thanks
Hey, I have a pajero sport (2003) myself and i ve been looking to lift it.
Do you think your springs are gonna fit ? engine code is 4d56
Hi, yes, they will fit 😁
Thanks mate🤌
What shocks did you use ?
Factory ones
Did you need to extend the brake hoses at all ??
No, they were untouched with this lift 😁
@@LS10Works Thank you for info
@@TheGreatOutdoors458 no worries buddy
Have you got the link to the springs? And was it just a 2” lift you have done ?
Hi mate, Heres the link to the ones I bought www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263026506100
Yeah, just a 2 inch lift and tall tyres :)
Torsion bar lifted and them springs what tyre size did you manage to fit mate with these mods
I'm sure these were 31s mate :)
Done same lift technique to mine for years now, always been runing 33's, also ran 35s once before with slight rubbing.
@@vzo8049 did you need a body lift too for 33's? got some 33s for mine and going to fit my springs this weekend

Hey man,
Do these fit the 2.5td? Says they are for 2.8 but couldn't think of any diffrence?
HI,
i dont see any bumpstop, why so ? :D
This was how it's always been since I had it. It has a couple of small bump stops on the lower arms. 😁😁
