Sadge; I suffered with horrible 'morning' sickness in my pregnancy and the only thing that seemed to help was ginger. If my partner brought me a ginger (or, more often, lemon and ginger) tea in the morning, before I got out of bed or moved around much, it really seemed to ease the symptoms.
Even ginger biscuits, ginger snaps or ginger beer seemed to be helpful throughout the day.
Thanks for the tip. Have tried ginger biscuits but Alan keeps eating them all...

Best wishes you two! Love the randomness of your Vlogs! It feels very natural and honest. We are pleased things are ok. We have been keeping our fingers tightly crossed for you both. We feel the same about campsites! Nothing like a warm shower every now and then!

Yes I would like to try that problem is I keep eating them before they get close to the pan.
I was just about to say what is a welshcake ? And Akan gave the most fantastic description. In order of food preference I'd go ... kebab, fish and chips, cheese scone and ginger biscuits. So this blog has basically been my idea of food heaven.

Coming to UK for Queens Jubilee next week. We will definitely be having mushy peas & fish n chips! I’ve seen canned mushy peas here in Australia but haven’t tried them!

Love love LOVE watching you explore new places, but Pembrokeshire is particularly dear to my heart and it was fun to discover the Home of the Best Lavender and the Home of the Best Lifeguards (llavender and llifeguards in Welsh?!) with you. Glad you liked Tenby and particularly liked seeing the site we'll be at in two weeks' time. Welshcakes and sausage rolls, Tenby's sounding great already.
Recommend the old showers not the new. The new block is a bit grim smell wise and the showers are right next to the toilets... awesome location thought and staff were very friendly.

I loved your drone shot of Tenby in the beginning of this and the music, well done. I had to look up a mushy peas recipe after seeing you eat them, I've never had any. I see where you have to use a special pea call marrowfat peas, interesting. Of course, I had to look up the Welsh cake too and see what they put in it. I thought it was a baked cake but you cook it in a pan with butter. And hey, I like the looks of those new chairs you got, they look down right comfy. Thanks for the visit to Tenby, I enjoyed it. we went to Tenby for a day trip by car (not van) and it is lovely. It was also raining hard that day. We will be going back.

I cook them in a dry non stick pan once a week as a treat, they do keep for a few days, but not in our van 🤣 there's quite a few recipes on Google but as hubbie is coeliac I make them gf x
I think we may have just missed you in Pembrokeshire. We were there four weeks ago. Did you make it to Skomer Island? It's awesome. So many puffins, although we were far too early for the pufflings! Thanks for reminding us of some places we've just been to.

@@RunningOffGrid Yes for sure. I watched one of your old Q&A's a couple of weeks ago. I can't remember if I commented or not. But you mention missing a sofa to sit on and I must admit that is something I miss aswell! However, a nice sun lounger wouldn't go a miss! 😅

Try some hydrogen peroxide for the water tanks, better for your insides, less harmful than chlorine. Thanks for keeping us inspired when we couldn't move around ourselves with our van being off the road for 6 months, it needed a new camshaft and turbo and those things are difficult to source for an old van such as ours. Wishing you every success with the pregnancy :)

Sickness is sign of a strong pregnancy they say though I was lucky enough never to suffer
O and I did loads of cold water swimming too after the first trimester,now got a 16 year old daughter who swims like a fish

It needs building blocks which is in the food, and it's constantly working now.. 😀
I have this thought regarding hunger and food, and also cravings during pregnancy.
I think if you get all the daily nutrients you need, you won't be as hungry, and also you won't get the cravings.
Because your body remembers what nutrient is in things you have eaten before, so it will ask you to eat this thing, with this thing, because those two nutrients needs to be together for the building process.
But it's just a thought 🤔😅

Curry sauce for me, mushy peas for the Mrs, I was more excited for the kebab though! We need to clean our tank out as it’s got a rubber pipe taste sometimes, shame you have to waste so much water though. 👍🏼🚐👫
