The word is 'decrease' (become smaller) 😉. This is unfortunately the case all over the world - everything is getting smaller, but more expensive. When you said it was a kebab, I thought it was going to be meat on a skewer ... and then it wasn't the case at all! It almost looks like a filled wrap (and it looks delicious)!
You mentioned hiking meals and carbs. Instead of eating a plate of bland pasta or noodles, get some lentils. They don't need soaking. You can fry some onion, put in some spices, add lentils and water and have a tasty meal in 30 minutes. You can mix up your preferred spices and transfer to a small jar to transport. If you have some fresh vegetables you can throw those in as well. Lots of protein and carbs and much tastier.
