its so nice to see other children who are exactly like mine!! its just nice to see we got lot of verbal high functioning autistic kids aorund here where we are and hardly any that are non verbal and properly autistic like our daughter so this is nice to see feels like I am right at home listening to these sounds lol
My son does the thing where he also holds his hands up and spreads his fingers. Or holds his flat hand up in front of his face or eyes, as if to say I can't see. He also goes grr grr grr with mouth closed. I have a genuine question, do children eventually talk as adults if these signs are minor? I am so worried about my son not meeting any speech milestones.
I love this channel. I’m 27 but exhibit some of this behavior. I speak, so my form of stimming is saying words over and over again. Like if I’m really happy, I might yell Jeremy! Jeremy is the name of my reborn baby doll given to me by my friend Harley, another name I like to say all the time.. I also like to say words that sound good together like Kelly’s kettle for example. I try to channel it though because people in public don’t need to hear my happiness to play with a white furby or hear me yell Shayna.
This is kind of like my 17 month old. He doesn’t babble. He grunts and vocalizes while he moves around. Like vocal stimming. Sometimes it’s so annoying bc it’s loud repetitive grunting ahhhhh.
My 18 month old makes a constant "Aaaaaaahhh" sound all day especially when he is focused on something. I am watching out for signs. I also have a non verbal 5 year old hence I am wondering about his brother too.
OMG she is so nice and lovely ❤ thank you for this, now I see that I do vocal stiming 😊 I've been always so musical 🤭 I didn't know that it was that 😅 thanks! God bless you and hope the best for you and your awesome girl ❤

I haven’t listened to any uploads recently, and I had completely forgot. I commented on that video.
Prayers for you and your family

Thank you for sharing. My son is 13 and vocal stims big time. Now that his voice has deepened it's become louder and more jarring.
@@geraldmartin2830 it can be hard to struggle with the noise of it. Not easy to talk about

So I scored 32 on two Autism AQ sites and I show signs of emotional blindness or Alexthymia .
Leah does seem to be afraid to look at the canera. 😊
@@renettegordley3493 she struggles with eye contact for sure and that type of face forward connection
Sounds like vocal stimming with a bit of speech jargon.
it definitely seems like she interchanges between it. Her slp says she is sure there is scripting in there it's just shes so hard to understand.
My son is 2 years old he does the same sound, but does not have any single word not even mama or dada
Leah is 4 and still has not said mama
@@thatdailymama Did Leah present sign of autism before 18 months ? Or she regressed after 18 months ?
Hi there, My 4 year old son also does vocal stimming especially when is anxious.. can she repeat words when asked?
She does have some echolalia but not consistently
I make the same sounds as that:)
I repeat the word bunny 🐇 in a high pitched voice
I vocally stim it annoys me xx
When is it ok to tell your kid to stop doing that?
I mean you're welcome to tell her but she does not care or understand you
My daughters is more of a scream.
Lol I'm right there with you about my son who's 4yrs
Here with you with my 3 year old. I am deaf at this point
