2 ways, friends or Freeplay. In Freeplay, you'd need to use your imagination to roleplay different scenarios while learning the boost lines and timing as this is vital to staying relevant in the play and mastering recoveries.
Replays for 2s and 3s, and 1s, just grind 1s and you will easily figure out when ur overcommitting, when to challenge, where to be, and how to read. If you can handle it 1s is the best way to rank up fast. I don’t have mechs (never grinded or practiced them) I j played a ton of 1s, and now I’m peak gc, avg c3 with basic mechs.
Analyze your own replays and get a higher rank to analyze them for you as well whether it be a friend or a random person from a Discord you join you know is higher rank, and for the love of god accept their advice. I think 80% of sub champs are still there because they refuse the advice of higher ranks.
There’s 100% a correlation between ranking up and mechanics, you will eventually hard plateu if you don’t have mechs but a lot just aren’t necessary, i don’t think this is the right message. Position and rotation is also just a really boring way to play the game tbh. I do think everyone should learn a good amount of car control and start air roll training around diamond. Those mechanics are very important and is the foundation to learning basic to advanced mechanics. Being in champ without knowing basic things like air dribble, basic flicks, or even air dribble will plateau you. Now you might say the argument that a gc and ssl can get gc without the crazy mechanics. Ok yes but they have the insane shot consistency, car control that doesn’t require air roll, insane speed etc etc, of those ranks. I think a better message would be learn rotations, game sense and mechanics as a whole, pretty simple don’t lack on either. The practice heavy nature of mechanics do require you to put way more hours into it that’s why you can’t slack on it. Saying there’s no correlation between mechanics and ranking up is crazy when once you get to high champ-gc, everybody and their momma are doing double flip resets, ground to air, double taps, 45 flick. So is there a correlation? Yes. Do you NEED mechs like double flip reset to get gc? No of course not but eventually you will if you get that far, so why not have fun and rank up instead of being that guy who still uses directional air roll and can’t carry the ball on his car in champ. And just because you’ve seen a gc who can’t do flip resets and flicks doesn’t equal no correlation between mechanics and ranking up, COOL you found an outlier. You’re trying to disprove law of big numbers and have just committed gamblers fallacy, nice. That’s like saying you found a homeless guy with 160 iq who was a college dropout, surely that means there’s no correlation between iq and success in a stem field at university!! Also the appeal to authority bit where you say you’ve gotten ssl super quick so now we have to listen to you is lame asl but that is impressive, great 👍
Also more mid to advanced mechanics DEFINITELY do NOT comes with time naturally and is secondary wtf is that lmaooo. It’s the opposite actually, game sense comes secondary as you play the game, mechanics requires hours upon hours of practice. Nobody is going to freeplay and learning rotations like what 😂😂. That part was pretty bullshit idk where you got that from knowing you spent hours learning certain mechanics.
@@coluurs5660 playing freeplay is boring. Imagine spending more hours in freeplay than actual games to master the mechanics. Yes the basic stuff is neccessary, but grinding in freeplay never appealed to me, also: the situations in freeplay have nothing to do with a real match. Maybe you can do a mechanic great in freeplay and then you get frustrated the moment when you try in the real game. The enemy puts pressure on the performer and can counterstrike when the thing is performed poorly. If there is one thing to play except multiplayer then its training packs to play with pressure but its still a painful grind in a game that is sinking down in the mud anyways.
