I have an i8 and I disagree with many points. 1. 4 seconds in real life 0-100kmh. BMW underquote. Mine does 3.8 sec every time.(Tuned) (Sport Mode) most timings online have NOT been in Sport Mode. 2. Getting in and out is easy unless you are unfit and overweight. Im 56 and i drive it daily. 3. I have had BMW M3 and M5 and Aston Martin Vantage and the i8 is more fun and comfortable to drive than all of them. 4. Handles absolutely fine. 5 Price is good now yes it was overpriced. BUT for its tech at the time, people who could afford it bought it and understood it. You will not find an i8 owner that is not happy with it.
I Respect your opinion🙇. Like i said in the video, the i8 is worth considering now the price has dropped which can make you overlook the other flaws. Not like I hate the i8 infact I think it's the best looking car that bmw has to offer and it's a shame they discontinued it instead of improving it. @@AutoMenoit was discontinued because it was in production for 6 years not because it was a flop. It ran its course. 20,400 units were made and it is still the highest selling hybrid sports car ever.
@@johnapos68 but if it didn't flop why was it discontinued? It represents everything that all auto manufacturers are trying to achieve today which is electrification. With some people going as far as to call it the future and from a business perspective it doesn't make sense to discontinue a good selling car. What you think?
