I went through an extremely rough time in my life....you brought me peace, serenity and such aloha.....you have always and will be in my heart ❤ till the time God calls me home
words can not express the beauty that are in these voices. I get this warm feeling all around me, like angels healing me when I listen to this song. R.I.P Roland.
Thank you for this memory. When my parents, who are both musicians, returned from their first trip to Hawaii in the 70's, they brought The Brothers Cazimero album home. We listened often and I grew up loving this song. What a delight to enjoy their beautiful chording and harmony again. Wonderful.
Thanks for this! When I lived in Honolulu and they were at the Royal, I sat on Waikiki and listened to this as often as possible. Take beautiful Hawaiian music and match with these amazing brothers, it is truly Paradise! I'm tearing up!
I grew up with these guys over 30 years ago, and the night before I left, (playing in the cocktail lounge at the Waikiki Sheraton!) dedicated Pua Lilia to me, always my very favorite song, but this one came out after I left, and it's a Very close race! Hearing them makes me know I've got to go back, for good, some day soon. I love you guys!
I went to Kawananakoa Intermediate School with Paul. I remember he had a great smile and mellow friendly disposition and was much darker from time in the Hawaiian sun. God bless him for being tha really rare friendly guy at that age
I know most people think this is utter bs but Roland Cazimero is my uncle. He gave me my first guitar and now is teaching me his way of playing. Don't believe me? Well listen when u get close to fern elementary on saturday mornings. U might just hear us if you listen well.
Seen the brother's "C's" at Whittier college in 2013. Sadly though Roland wasn't present he wasn't feeling well. But an awsome show. Had to support my fellow "kanaka maoli ". Hele on~~~~~ Hawaiian's. Duke.🏄 (; €
Yes their land was taken away - from the Hawaiians and to this day - no change - but one thing they can never take from the beautiful Hawaiian people is Aloha - they are the only people in the world where Aloha is their's. there's nothing like a Hawaiian Heart - Mahalo Nui Loa .
