CED was only on the market for about 3 years in the early 80s as VHS took over for general movie watching / home recording and LaserDisc became the default for more discerning movie watchers. That set of movies is impressive so hopefully a collector shows up to De Anza.

When I was in jr. high in Santa Monica, I would walk to the military surplus store before going home and buy me some fatigue pants. Loved them! Wish originals were still around. I know several people that were chemistry majors in college that would love that old o-chem book. That locker is such a mess.
The ball at the end looks like a Bocce ball {Pronounced "Bahchee ball"}. My Italian uncles would play when they visited our house. They would toss out a little white ball and everyone would try to get the closest to it or knock each other out.

What you are calling laser discs are in fact CEDs (Capacitive Electronic Disk) which is a disk that pays on RCA machines. These are relatively rare and need a special player. -Dan
