As others have mentioned, I would try and sell all of the Legos as one large lot rather than splitting it up. The right collector will pay good money for it all.
I think the lego stuff is a good hit. I got a unit a while back similar in quantity to yours not as organized as yours though. I listed the whole lot on market place they sold the next day for 3500.00 I kept a ton of them too . I think youll do great honestly especially with the colors you have
Those are legit G1 Transformers. The Jeep is named Hound and all those little parts go with it. The spare tire is rare! Great finds! I collect them and would be interested in purchasing them!
Don't let the lego go for peanuts at the flea market. Lots of other options before you end up giving away a fortune. You have thousands of $$ worth in that locker. The Lego Beetle 10187, if complete with sealed bags, is over $500. The TIE Fighter, especially if you find the manual, is about $50. The Lego Jabba, on it's own, is $30-$40.
I just sold a few hundred dollars worth of my sons old Lego. If it’s discontinued people will pay big money for it. You just have to convince your girls to put it all back into its sets, lol.
The figures sell for a lot of money depending on how old they are. Find someone to look at it before you part it out. For the right Lego, hold mind. Mx adding, figures sell from 15-20 each! Look them up, as they look like his dads stuff!
That collection of Lego is amazing. Not only are there a lot of pieces, but I could see from the video that there are a bunch of individual items that could bring a significant return. I saw many old raised baseplates. Ebay has these listed for 10-20 dollars. The Jawa Sandcrawler that looked to be mostly built and can easily bring more than $100 if you can find the instructions and verify the parts. The VW Beetle should have 19 or 20 bags. If you have all of them and the two instruction books, you are sitting on a couple of hundred dollars. Also, there has been a lot of sorting already. That is added value. I understand that you are busy and that getting the maximum profit from this Lego haul would take time, but at least invest a little time to research ways to sell this over and above bulking it all up in 5-pound bags.
Wow, love the legos. It would be so much fun to take each of the books one by one and find all the parts and put them all together. I'm really envying you right now!
For real!! Do a little research, not sure if you realize what you have!! Amazing find, bro!!!! I'm jealous! I made a few hundred off of incomplete opened sets I found!
With all those legos and books. Hold onto them. There are Lego fanatics that would pay a pretty penny to put those together. They are smarter than the average bear. Lol. They are worth money. Color coded even better. Don’t sell yourself short. Legos aren’t cheap.
I can’t believe you are not more excited by the legos. You have a jackpot there. The guy color coated them so it makes it so easier to build. You have complete sets of Star Wars. I’d say $3000 easy
That's a great idea too. I think he should auction them off just how they came out of the locker. Container by container, he will make great money on WhatNot doing it that way.
Those Lego parts and pieces will sell well if you take a bit of time to find the right buyer. No flea market. Find a Lego specialist. There’s money in that.
Please pay attention to everything you have .. there is so much value in legos that most people don’t know about. Little things can be worth more then you think you could easily make your money back plus more! I know it can be a daunting task but it would be worth it to look into !
Jack, please sell the old plush in a lot. People do collect it. May not be high dollar, but collectors will love them. Great video. Take care darling xx
Wow, I can’t believe how much you spent on this locker. Lego’s are highly sought after and I’m sure there is someone who would be happy to buy the whole lot up. I believe you can get most of your money back in the Lego lot. Good luck🤗 Please update us on what you decide to do with the Lego lot.😃
5k easy, probably more..ive sold plenty of mixed lego lots for great money. localy and ebay..but what you just uncovered is amazing..the vintage gen 1 transformers are icing on the cake...take the time to go through the mini figs..you wont be disapointed
Would love to hear a follow up on how you handled selling all these Legos. So many collectors out there willing to pay big money. Matching those Legos with the instructions would definitely be more beneficial in selling. I suppose we would have to check out your auctions to see what you do with them. Best of luck!
If you look at manual 1/2 of the VW beetle it should tell you how many bags of bricks should be in the box. Then you will know it’s complete. Sell all the Lego figures separate. You can get a lot of money for them. Even for some of the single pieces. It just depends how much time you want to put into it.
Those Japanese Transformers are the original Transformers before coming to the U.S.. I saw a documentary about toys that had major impacts on the toy industry and Takara created the Transformers.
Ps there is an app for identifying every Lego piece ever made and giving its market value. It’s not just branding, Disney for example, that adds value, some bricks/parts were only available in certain sets so that makes the valuable too. My son just bought a job lot of Lego and pain £2000 for it. You might get your money back!
My son when he was young had a bunch of Legos and once their all mixed up its hard to make the right item! Their worth money but it will be hard to sell, being colored coordinated helps. Someone will buy them their are a lot of Lego lovers!
😂 $1 a piece! I nearly fell of my chair! I don't think you know what you've found! Everyone here does. And all the books too!!😮 This is a massive score 👏 Hope you realize it's true potential for value.
Some of the Lego, in the video around where you found the astronauts, looks like 1980s Lego. Lego went through a rough patch in the 80s, so they were not made in huge numbers. That space Lego might be more valuable than you think, even when they are not in mint boxes. Esp the space and knight series of the 80s are sought after. I sold a mini box of the knight series, in a beaten up box, one figurine, for over $200 about 3 years ago. Also the manuals from that era are collectibles.
I don't know the situation of American amateur soccer clubs, but here in the Netherlands most are struggling financially. The soccer training stuff you found would be a relief for every club for it's the stuff that gets lost most during the season ( I was a terrain manager for five years ), well, next to balls... You would create a lot of smiles when you donate it to a struggling club. And the keepers gloves, I would give them personally to the keepers and see them smile :)
Lots of feedback on the legos hope you do an update. I would set it aside till your feeling it . All those booklets and I bet every piece is there with how sorted they are
Surely some people on here know the value n how to sell it all or maybe your reseller friends ? good luck! The “time capsule “ was a nice end to the video, financially and deffo interesting. Nice one! 👏👏👍🏻👍🏻😍
My 11 year old son and my 21 year old son Both are into Legos. My oldest is huge into the star wars and he’s in the marines. Currently overseas. How he’s getting his large builds home is beyond me. Lol. I’m very interested in keeping a watch how you’ll sell these. I’m interested big time. 👍 about to hit that subscribe button. 👍😊
Those cheaper plastic toys ya think are transformers may be "Go-Bots". On card those are 100 bucks a plus. Out of holder some go in the 50-70 dollar range.
Just take your time to put those Legos together, you might find a BOLO since you have all the books to do it. I wish I live in CA or I will help you out for free.
That Lego collection looks a lot like my own! I have some from when I was a kid, one castle set is still intact and boxed up. I never grew out of loving them so I’ve been buying sets here and there for years and then when I had kids, I bought sets for them. And then picked up random boxes, bags, sets, etc. at thrift stores, garage sales, Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, wherever. They loved building their own creations so I used plastic bins and bags to sort the pieces so they could find them more easily. I was excited to see the garage/hardware drawers being used here - I have some too! But I’ve never seen anyone else using them for Lego! Now that my boys are older, they aren’t as interested but I still love them so I haven’t slowed down buying them. It’s a fun hobby. If those boxes of Lego had been visible at the front of that locker - I would love to know how different the bids would have been.
Those being Jack Nichols series , they probably going to have stiff shafts so older guys have more control . The flex shafts are more for younger guys to get more distance but you give up control of where the ball is going !
A loss...embrace the legos. You have no idea what dropped into your lap. Make Lego night building a new nightly thing 🤣 whoever those belonged to was hands down a hard core Lego collector. The shelving probably held all of his legos at one time. It would be sad if these just got sold by the pound. My guess is there is some type of organization going on there. Maybe you can find the guy and collaborate the "Great Lego Rebuild" and sell it off together. The TH-cam video alone with him telling about it would be epic and bring you back money in another way. Love your videos 🙂
I would take all the mini figs out of the legos and comp them separately, then sell the rest in bulk. the little pink figures in the trunk are M.O.T.U. MUSCLE figures
Yes you can sell legos by the pound And put them in random flat rate boxes But I would look up some of the small individual lego Figures that looked to be From the 80s
Jack, I have to watch you on my cell phone. Can you please make your inserts re price of any particular item larger so it's easier to read? Pretty please and thank you. 😆 ❤
My sister collects legos and pays big bucks for some of those manuals and she also buys a lot of the single pieces You need to have someone look at those for sure
Hopefully you looked up the mini figures. Some of those can be worth big money. You could probably double you're money on just the legos. Make sure you keep and eye out for the orignal jango fett and young boba fett they are 300+
The little pink rubbery dudes are called MUSCLE. There was a whole bunch of different ones, most are not very valuable. The diecast cars are near $100 for the lot on a good day. That metal transformer could be a bit of money since it has accessories & looks really clean. My advice with the legos is to do a gigantic bundle of all of them and advertise them locally. Since you & your fam aren't experts it would take so many hours to separate, list, & sell that stuff you would be going further in the hole by doing so. If it doesn't work out there's always whatnot, or whatever. There's at least a megabuck there from what I saw, maybe more, so you can get a big chunk of your outlay back pretty quickly with them.
That big storage rack tip the leggo bits into a box to sell and sell the unit at the better flea market. You could remove all the unopened bag ones to sell at auction and take the rest in the boxes to a 2nd hand toy shop.

Some Star Wars / Marvel minifigs are worth hundreds each, be careful!
For real!! Do a little research, not sure if you realize what you have!! Amazing find, bro!!!! I'm jealous! I made a few hundred off of incomplete opened sets I found!

@@lisatingley8953Agree! If he can match the books/instructions with some of the Legos.. big $$. Maybe a job for his girls.. 😁
I agree those are tiny treasures
You have a small gold mine here! Find somebody to help you organize and/or sell for you. Nice locker!
Looks like maybe he was in LEGO building competition so he had millions of them. Should be worth a great deal of money to the right people.
I can’t believe you are not more excited by the legos. You have a jackpot there. The guy color coated them so it makes it so easier to build. You have complete sets of Star Wars. I’d say $3000 easy

Lots of money !!!!! With the Lego collection.don’t be disappointed

lovely organized lot of LEGO, a collector would love that
check the figurenes for value

Jack.....
Don't beat yourself up for being a dreamer....😊 It's ok to take chances..... that's living friend.....
You're killing me , man. 1977 that's really old. That's the year I graduated high school. LOL.
Dude, you have thousands of dollars in Legos. The collector set's alone, can be worth from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars each.
Definitely those Legos will sell high. One mini fig $5 to 30
It's funny how you get exited when you find a single penny and then you are disappointed when you find a fortune worth of LEGO.
LOL 😆🤣
Agreed!
I don't even do LEGO and I could tell that's a lot alot of money into those. (I do watch LEGO Masters TV show).
to the right person, that is worth a fortune!
It's not a fortune.
That cowboy wall hanging might be from the 1950s. It might have been handed down in the family.
Lego sells. People are so talented with Lego.
5k easy, probably more..ive sold plenty of mixed lego lots for great money. localy and ebay..but what you just uncovered is amazing..the vintage gen 1 transformers are icing on the cake...take the time to go through the mini figs..you wont be disapointed

3 vids in 3 days? What a great week!
Love the Snoopy Joe Cool towels!
The right person will pay big time for all of those vintage legos and the instructions.
legos = gold Jack!!! Love your show.!!
That's a. Great find Jack!! Wow😮!! Always looking for to watch your videos!! Love sharing them also!!

He 100% does not know what he found! Some of those minifigs could fetch big $$$
Lego sells for heaps especially the older sets… love Lego!
On market place you will find Lego groups for your area… huge resale value if you can work out what sets. Some people sell per kilo..
Min-figs are quite valuable!
Some of the Lego, in the video around where you found the astronauts, looks like 1980s Lego. Lego went through a rough patch in the 80s, so they were not made in huge numbers. The little dog plush at 43:23 could have been worth around 40.00 on eBay. I had one similar to sell for that price.
I agree with everyone else. Those legos are worth a lot of money. I'd say it's a great find. I think you'll get your money back on them.

Hello Jack. Let's see what's inside of this abandoned storage unit. Everything looks awesome. You'll make your money back.
You have lots of money in Lego!! I need that VW bug set!
If you took the time, you could use the manuals to make up sets and sell them for more.
Those cheaper plastic toys ya think are transformers may be "Go-Bots". On card those are 100 bucks a plus. Out of holder some go in the 50-70 dollar range.
There could be bit coin pass keys on the harddrivea
Love the old cat…had one when i was a child….loved it….have not seen them sinse….im 50 now
Just take your time to put those Legos together, you might find a BOLO since you have all the books to do it. I wish I live in CA or I will help you out for free.
You will be surprised how lucrative lego is.

Hi Jack 👋🏻! I love how his mom or grandma packed up that trunk with all those keepsakes!
The Luna cameo made up for the way you were trash-talking the fortune in Lego you had!😢😊
That VW bug set is worth checking to see if its all there. It sells for several hundred.
Those being Jack Nichols series , they probably going to have stiff shafts so older guys have more control . The flex shafts are more for younger guys to get more distance but you give up control of where the ball is going !

Wow, that 10187 VW Beetle is worth close to 700 dollars new.
I would take all the mini figs out of the legos and comp them separately, then sell the rest in bulk. the little pink figures in the trunk are M.O.T.U. MUSCLE figures
The local Savers in Dublin sell the Lego figures for $4.99 +. Quote size bags of Lego pieces $9.99 +.
Yes, all you need is an avid lego collector to turn this one around!
Yes you can sell legos by the pound And put them in random flat rate boxes But I would look up some of the small individual lego Figures that looked to be From the 80s
There was a PET milk plant in my hometown in Idaho. That's a cool truck!!
Thanks Jack !
Jack, I have to watch you on my cell phone. Can you please make your inserts re price of any particular item larger so it's easier to read? Pretty please and thank you. 😆 ❤
Legos sold by the lb do very well. A large flat rate box easily bring you 100 or more per box.
My sister collects legos and pays big bucks for some of those manuals and she also buys a lot of the single pieces You need to have someone look at those for sure
Hopefully you looked up the mini figures. Some of those can be worth big money. You could probably double you're money on just the legos. Make sure you keep and eye out for the orignal jango fett and young boba fett they are 300+
Those Viper gloves are for cleaning parts of your car, They are V(W)ind screen Vipers (sorry bad dad joke) lol. They are between $15-20 a pair
You could pay your daughters to take each Lego book and find all the pieces then put the total kit in a Ziploc bag.
I said the same thing! LOL 😆
You have major money in Legos!!
Aww Luna 🐈⬛ ❤
Ugly sticks are the best. My dad gave me mine when I was a little girl and I am 68 now and still have it and still us it.
The totes could be different sets w/o manuals
Oh my goodness, the Legos 😮
The Lego is worth tons! Get some one in the know to look at it, or take it to a toyw collectables auction. Needs an expert eye on it.
When you knock on the locker, one day someone will knock back! Lol
I think you've got the right idea about spending more cash and getting better lockers my friend
I would love to see Jack's adventure to Nevada to have a storage unit But I also wanted to be a trip worthwhile for all
The pin you took out the plush hat looked like paddington bear hat and pin….possibly.
@52:14, Kinnikuman figures. in US, they are called MUSCLE MEN.
Even the instruction books sell for good money! Please take the time and research the LEGO!
That big storage rack tip the leggo bits into a box to sell and sell the unit at the better flea market. You could remove all the unopened bag ones to sell at auction and take the rest in the boxes to a 2nd hand toy shop.
I grew up in Mtn. view! Nice place.
I’d so buy all that Lego. This is awesome
There are many starwars mini figs worth thousands 1 for example is Boba fett cloud city its around 2000$
I was hoping you'd find something awesome in that locker, but boxes of Legos......meh!!!!
That trunk had some interesting things in it. This reminds me of my cedar chest that has stuff from the 60's & 70's in it, which also makes me feel old. 🤪
There will be a list of all the parts bags (1,2,3 etc) with the Volkswagon lego set. If all the bags are there it is complete.
Man, those Legos are awesome. Feel your pain on what was spent on them though. For the right price, that unit would have been so exciting. I hate it when cool stuff turns into painful work.
Those are nice golf clubs to go golfing with Jack maybe you need to dip them
Definitely sell them as a huge lot locally. Good pics and you will more than make your investment back
Love the trunk!!!
Have you seen the show Lego Wars, maybe he was building to practise to be on show Legos built to last best toy around. Sell them in 1 lot
Another great find. At least it isn't containers of wires and tv parts
