Great job on all the info and well orchestrated video! Only thing I may have done differently is removing the top boards and worked on them individually and reattach. I'm just lazy and would only want to use the orbital :) Keeping up the great service!
I am about to replace some fascia board. It's in a corner where water gathers, and that's how it rotted in the first place. BUT, I am about to sell the house. I have some Thompsons in the garage, and I am thinking about sealing the new wood for the next owner. BUT...like I said, I am about to sell the house. It is entirely going to depend upon how long the Thompsons has to sit before I can put the paint over it and move on to the next job. Your video did not broach the question I have, so I'll just ask to see if you know the answer: What do you know about painting over Thompsons? Should I even do it? If so, how long should I let it dry before I paint over it? If you don't know, that's cool. But if you have any insight, it would be much appreciated.
Your windows are too big and shiny , the birds get confused and fly into them thinking it's open land. Try cutting out shapes/silhouettes of birds to tape to your window to help save the lives of the wildlife in your gorgeous backyard
Wherever you live is fantastically beautiful.
Thank you so much for the compliment!
Thank you so much!! I plan to do the park benches manually, so this will be my summer workout. 😅
I’m glad this served as an inspiration for your future project.
Thank you. Excellent video. The mitt is a game changer. I'm getting ready to apply Thompsons. Great idea!
Thanks for taking your time and watching my video. Happy to hear you enjoyed the video and it helped you in some way.
Nice looking place from what we can see of it.

Looks great!!!!
What if you wanted to paint a different color
@@smed4319 The prepping process would be the same, the only thing that would change is the paint or stain color of your liking.

How long did it take you to sand everything?
How long should it take to do 1? I have the job of doing 14 tomorrow and in abit nervous my boss told me he's done 24 in one day
Did you seal it with anything after staining? Keep it going with your videos!
This specific stain is a stain and seal combination which eliminated an additional step.
