Thanks for making a video that clearly shows what to do to achieve this goal. Thanks for not using sped-up video so we can get the sense that this takes time and patience. Nice job on both the floor and video.
Whoever glued down carpet to hardwood floors is a true criminal 😬 I would definitely suggest you using a carbide scraper on that before hitting it with the drum sander. If the glue is dry and dust like, go ahead and sand it with the 36 grit or maybe 22 grit depending on the shape of your floors
I dunno what you'd add, but he skipped the leaf blower, hot gun filler and pressure washer to remove any residual wood. Mop on the finish and leave the windows open for a week and you're good.
You have impressively convinced me that I should pay someone else to do this.
😂😂😂😂😂
I dunno if you made that account just to comment on this video, but I'm about it.
LoL
same that’s not a diy
I did this when I was in my 30s and it was very time consuming and messy. I'm 62 now. Ain't gonna happen.

Thank you. You have made me a lot less terrified of trying this. :)
This js helpful! Looking forward to doing my floors! Save big money when you shop menards!
So is the first sanding with the screen just a clean off more or less?
Thank you. Great advice. But what do I do when there is old glue from carpeting use the sander as well? Or will that gum up the pad?

How many days its takes to finish the job completly.
Very good job. You make it look so easy. I want to do my floor myself. But im afraid i might mess it up
Life is too short to worry about messing up.
Where do rent the sanders?
Lowe's home Depot
How long did it take you to sand the room?
About 3 hours or so 🤔
👍👍👍👍👍
My mind says,"you can totally do this." My body says, "not so fast."
Totally doable, but my knees tho!!!
