omg! I saw the art and was like ohh my favorite Nier character! And then I saw your profile and was like WAIT ITS YOU! U inspire me a lot to study painting
Thank you very much! Really glad you like it 🥲 Yes, I'd love to see more artists showing their refs, it's always interesting to see what they get out of them, how they use them, etc.
Thank you! 🙏 "Both musics are created by @SoundOfTheAviators for the ost of the unreleased video game "Infinity Awaits Us" 1st music: "Omnia Paratus" 2nd music: "Castles of Ice" Check @SoundOfTheAviators 's channel (playlist "Infinity Awaits Us"), the full ost is there, it's a great one...and also... copyright free! " The full OST is really good!

sorry ik this is from 9 months ago but 😭😭 how do you look for your lighting references? I've been struggling to wrap my head around it when prepping for a piece
It depends. I don't like to spend too much time searching, but for sites I'd say Unsplash, Pixabay, Pexels, Freepik, Pinterest and Google images (for the key words maybe dramatic portrait, natural light portrait, etc. depends on what mood I want) Either I find the perfect ref quickly (quite rare), or I find a decent one and work a little more imagination (by exaggerating, adding a light source, etc.). Otherwise, stock photos, which I've been using a lot for some time now (check out Grafit studio, Obscura 29, Mels Mneyan, Satine Zillah, etc.) which offer photo packs with excellent lighting :)
