I somehow held it together. I think it was thanks to Mumei being a little gremlin. Nerissa however broke me. There was no comic relief to save me there 😭💛
Yeah for me, that was the first time I’ve seen Kronii be emotional Not even during Sana’s graduation she cried For me, she’s always had the “too cool/serious to cry” attitude but when she cried during the Charity Stream, I was shocked
It's very little often that we do see Kronii cry but when she does, she really does tear up. When seeing or hearing Shiori cry, it makes me wanna give her hugs and headpats along saying her phrase "There, there."
Omg, the episode of Fry Dog! in latinamerica the dog's name was Seymour Diera (sounds like "if it bites" ). What a sad episode with the music at the end.
For people who had bottled their feelings for so long it's kinda hard to cry. Sometimes when you want to express your feelings also you think that nobody would care about them. But in case of Kronii she was raised like that. Other had developed their hardness with experiences, findings that expressing your feelings sometimes can be improper and unnecessary. Thinking like..."what's the point of say or expressing something if no one's there to care about them?...It would be like screaming to a Wall
that is really nice of Kronii, I think she wanted to be more expressive and true to her feeling to the ones she actually care for and doesnt wait until its too late, like how she probably didnt show her true appreciation for that she wanted to show for Ame almost the end, Shiori would prob already cried in silent like that. I wish more people does stay true to their feeling as the product of their environment can leave them abit too cold and strong, but ultimately lying to yourself hence suffer.
That Seymour episode from Futurama hits LIKE A TRUCK like one moment you like damn thats sad then the music hits and you see Seymour have his final moments and thats where it hits you like a pile of bricks
In my family, crying in public as a male is shameful so I understand Kronii in this one. When she cried in Ame Aquarium it really hit me me hard and it really showed hoow much she cared about Ame.
1:05 I was yelling in Shiori's chat "if you think about this for more than 10 seconds you'll make yourself cry" and sure enough lmao On the spectrum of Shiori, who can make herself cry in seconds, to Kronii who only cries when she's unable to bottle it up any longer, I'm definitely on the Kronii side of things, so I can see why she'd want to be more expressive. And sometimes it's not even an active attempt to not cry, you just don't feel the need at all. Thanks for the clip!
When Kronii cried while she was talking to Ame, that shit got me choked up and teary eyed. It was so raw and so genuine, specifically because she bottles her emotions.
I hope so too. Also the moment she said this 3:00, I felt so bad for kronii, she’s gotta cry and can’t keep it in, crying is the best feeling in the whole world because it feels like your stress is wore out and you feeling so relieved, so I say kronii should not bottle up her feelings, it’s okay for her to cry, all of us accepted her for who she is🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶
For those who don't know; there was a chance for Fry to bring his dog back to life, but he decided against it once he figured his dog lived a full life, and thought he forgot about him. This is followed by the most gut wrenching montage of the dog waiting for Fry the entire time.
Man, I relate so much to Kronii. Not comparing pain, but I was raised worse. Being "too emotional" was seen as "cringe" and "weird" by my parents (even though they do it themselves). So, I wasn't allowed to cry, be too happy, be too angry, being grateful is good except when I try to explain why, like "thanks for being here with me" is too weird but just "thank you" is fine apparently. My emotions have to be "controlled". Fast forward to my adulthood and I have trouble expressing my emotions, saying thank you or sorry are hard, etc.
Me too Shiori me too, that episode is ROUGH at the end :( ....HOWEVER in one of the movies they retconned it and the dog managed to see Fry and it was Bender who accidentally fossilised him
Retconned, no: the time-related shenanigans only allowed A Fry to continue living with the dog, which dulled the tragedy of the original ending a bit. Only for the aforementioned scene to occur, turning it all into some bittersweet black comedy. That being said, yeah, that film DID take away a lot of that ending's sting.
I know people like kronii and im guarantee you if they're crying, there's some shit really happening, and after they're cry they're pretending to laugh it off because they're don't want to bother any people around her and don't want make situation any worse/akward , and knowing this watching kronii cry at ame make me want to hug her Soo much, hope She can be more expresive to herself
i think the only moment i watch kronii cry is when she greet her final farewell on stream to ame im about to cry then i saw mumei's face rofl. the water goes back up and i laughed
0:55 Noooooo Shiorin 😭 We must give our archiver hugs 🤗 Also, considering Kronii crying during the Ame charity stream, I guess Kronii doesn't cry as much as everyone else in Hololive 🤔
might be random but this reminds me of Shiori's Bladerunner watchalong stream and Kronii's stream at Ame's aquarium. Both of them made me feel pretty sentimental😌
I relate to Kronii feeling jealous for Shiori being able to cry cause I didnt cry at all for years and years until recently, for like 8 years I'd think about a family member who passed away and I would never cry and that made me feel like there was something wrong with me or something, Ive finally started crying a lot more now since 2 years ago though which actually makes me happy
Remember Shiori wa planning to make jokes about Blade Runner 2049's ending, but she got so immersed and sad that the stream ended shortly after the credits started rolling because she couldn't hold the tears...
I remember the episode Shiori was talking about and yea its a super sad episode. That poor dog waited for Fry to return his whole life and he never came back, the poor dog probably thought he abandoned him 😭
Mann, I feel for kronii. I was taught feeling negative in general is bad. In situations where professional is necessary it's good, but it also means one numbs and disassociates with what they actually feel and with each experience like water in a glass it only gets heavier until overflows and spills to an ugly mess.| It do be like that and I empathize to everyone that have to deal with the same thing, much love and best regards to the girls and everyone else here that do. 💙
you project negative energy.. your body will react to it. same with positive. if you want to practice postivity, look at the mirror and practice smiling naturally. other than that do stuff everyday that makes you say you achieve something. i.e. cleaned my room etc.. small things help.
I hate the ending of that episode man...not cuz it was bad, but it was just a big punch in the gut kind of ending that forever lingers in your mind of what could have been
Yeah I feel like I'm similar to Shiori where it's not that hard to make me tear up. Like randomly making up a story in my head with random characters that some bad or good happens them. Also with the release of Dandadan anime (which I've never actually heard about) I went ahead and read the manga and oh man does that manga hit your feels...the one that made me ugly cry the most was the Silky storyline. I'm getting my tissues ready for when the anime gets to that part, which I think does happen this season.
There has been a few times where the damn just broke for me such as in Walker Texas Ranger a kid was dying from genetic aids as his mother gave birth to him while she had it and people wanting to kill him he lost everything while getting thanks to the help of Walker surviving to the end where he dies at a young age 7 to the aids poor Lucas and kid me at the time bursted out crying asking my parents 'Why did Lucas had to die after what all he went through? It's not fair" and i cried for so long my back started to hurt from dehydration. I was around 12 and this was way after my Grandma died. All the others the same feeling of it's not fair and helplessness. As when faced with the finality of life that no matter what you do it's hopeless you can't save the one you care about what can you do other than cry? Johnny Cash's rendition of hurt is also another gut wrenching song as a old withered guy with a fading voice reminiscing regretting his life missing his wife making his last song before he too literally dies soon after. There are a lot of songs that hurt worse than the death of Jiraiya from Naruto It never truly hits you how sad Mako Iwamatsu's Leaves From the Vine actually is till later in life till after someone you love dies just as sad as that montage and song of that dog who waited and waited for Fry to come home except it's not little solider boy it's a different stabbing pain. It is said Mako was morning himself as he knew he was dying and it was his last episode even if he recorded up to season 2 near the end those were the last lines he has actually recorded and even if the episode was filler it was the best filler ever made Leaves from the vine falling so slow like fragile, tiny shells drifting in the foam little soldier boy come marching home brave soldier boy come marching home Ash in the snow falling so slow like fragile, broken hearts with no place to go little soldier boy taken from home forced to fight a war that was not his own little solder boy cold and alone brave solder boy never made it home Leaves from the vine changing so slow like empty, fallen souls looking for a home little solder boy thought he could soar brave solder boy fallen in the war my little solder boy I need you home brave solder boy come marching home And now i cast sadness on myself and whoever reads this, Mako died from cancer. There is no truer dread than to know you are dying soon and nothing you could do about it which makes a lot of these songs even more sad especially when they show that they know what's coming and they are scared yet still try to cheer up someone sad in their final moments
I feel for Kronii. My household was raised to not show negative emotions. Things like sadness and anger would land you in trouble, especially if done in public. Thankfully going away to college was able to do away with some of it, though I for sure don't show that side meeting family. When I finally do start crying it is almost always an ugly cry😅
The fact Kronii says this really makes her crying during her last moment talking to Ame during the charity stream much more impactful. Kronii may act all cool and stoic all the time with a monotone voice most of the time but she does have emotions. I bet that day with Ame she let it all out. She's a silly clock but she's a silly clock with a big heart. Also, hugs for my dorky archiver! She is too sweet despite being unhinged at times!
Kronii and Ame are very similar in that aspect. Maybe thats why its so heartbreaking when you hear them cry💛💙 We gotta love and support the girls a lot!
That's how it is. Growing up is conditioning, defining what makes you tick. And once you're a mature adult, it's more or less set in stone. I don't cry or emote much, either, and by similar causes. I know how frustrating it can be to try to go against one's own conditioning. My only countermeasure is to take great care to say exactly what I mean.

Trying to avoid spoilers... •"Everything's Alright" introducing the epilogue of _To The Moon._ •MenMa finally remembering the reason she came back as a ghost in the final episode of _AnoHana._ •"My Song" from _Angel Beats!_ While we're at it, let's just throw in the tsundere girl's backstory, and the closing scene as well. •The scene on the train returning home from the canola field around the middle of _Clannad: ~AfterStory~._ Also the scene a few episodes later where the exact words of that conversation are repeated in a different context.
While ironically showing how much she has in common with Ushio's father. Guess that makes her breakdown during Ame's charity marathon the equivalent of that scene on the train home from the canola field.
Oh my god, Shiori is so precious, makes me wanna give her a big hug. Also Kronii, I kind of understand Kronii, I also mostly bottle up my feelings too. Sometimes it was like "there's no time to cry, move on". That's why when she cried during Ame's stream it also hit me pretty hard. I love these girls
That's why when she cries it hits hard. It's far from being my oshi as she's too inexpressive to me. But it makes each one, especially the heavy ones that much more meaningful

Thank you for posting this cause I've been thinking that the song doesn't have enough views 🙏
Kronii probably has the most aloof attitude in EN. But goddammit, when she finally cried during Ame's charity stream it was so hard to hold my tears.
I somehow held it together. I think it was thanks to Mumei being a little gremlin. Nerissa however broke me. There was no comic relief to save me there 😭💛
She's gotten emotional and wept a few times during membership streams, but that was definitely the first time I can recall where she's really cried
Well, I DID NOT hold my tears. Kronii is "the cool type", hearing her cry is something that I never thought would happen 😭💙💛
Yup. I didn't cry during that stream until Kronii stayed back to say a few words. Water works after that.
Yeah for me, that was the first time I’ve seen Kronii be emotional
Not even during Sana’s graduation she cried
For me, she’s always had the “too cool/serious to cry” attitude but when she cried during the Charity Stream, I was shocked
"Shiori, make Raora cry"
Shiori: *cries instead*
This reminds me of the time Kronii cried at Ame's aquarium stream, which was probably one of the rare times Kronii cried 😭
that moment really gives you an emotional damages 💀
stahppp now im tearing up ; - ;
Bottling it up can be like that. You can resist crying for a long time but then something just knocks down that wall and it comes pouring out.
Noooooo 😢
😢oh no……
Shiori is such a sweetheart fr
"I can't see shit" and her eyes blinking rapidly 😂😂😂
When Kronii cries it's either an empathetic response to someone's genuine emotions or her losing grasp on her cool, gremlin boasting persona
i rarely comment but man i understand Kronni feeling
we as a man always know that feeling.

I fucking cried when Kronii went back to say goodbye to Ame. Just remembering is making me tear up a little.
To be fair, Shiori is made for headpats regardless.
In addition to wholesome vanilla seggs ofc
I just wanna give Kronii a damn hug man
I still remember when Kronii broke down during the VR Chat stream with Ame.
It broke my very soul hearing her like that.

that one and game of tones, futurama has a good blend of funny moments. but when they truly want to pull at your heartstrings damn they can do it.
God damnit, even Shiori humming that song got me to cry all over again what the fuck
Whatever you do, don't watch Bender's Big Score. You will regret it.
The other episode that sent me was The Seven Leaf Clover - "Don't you forget about me" still sends me to this day.

It do be like that and I empathize to everyone that have to deal with the same thing, much love and best regards to the girls and everyone else here that do. 💙
People always say bottle up leads to overflow. I suspect that is not quite the mechanism, my eternal numbness would not be possible in that scenario.

like fragile, broken hearts
with no place to go
little soldier boy
taken from home
forced to fight a war
that was not his own

cold and alone
brave solder boy
never made it home
Leaves from the vine

fallen in the war

I need you home
brave solder boy
come marching home

I do feel a bit of jealousy because it really sucks when the tears just wont come out.
"Damn you and your emotions."
Kronii love 💙
Kronii just like me fr fr
...Shiori, Jurassic Bark is literally the Futurama version of Hachiko...
"I've been raised in a way where crying is not allowed."
Huh me too, must be more common than I thought.
Everytime my gf is crying im happy for her because i really cannot cry easily
kronii is one of the boys
That's why when she cries it hits hard. It's far from being my oshi as she's too inexpressive to me. But it makes each one, especially the heavy ones that much more meaningful
From the Knonii's bag and bottle up emotions, Im now confirmed she's one of the dude
