I would be complaining about how this sounds too much like the original, but then again the Super Nintendo and the Genesis were both 16-bit console so it kind of makes sense.

Considering how the SNES used samples while the Genesis used FM synthesis, it’s honestly a compliment. I can’t even imagine how much skill it would take to recreate SNES samples in FM. Though I’m sure a good ear and knowledge of the sound chip make it possible.
