Excellent stuff! My son is 8 years old and just starting kid pitch in the fall and wants to catch. Since he is 8 are you against him having a big arm action to make that 85 ft throw to 2nd base? Thanks and I definitely be tuning in for more!!
Hi, I'm new to catching and I'm still learning the ropes and working on my craft, but what would be the best way for me to block a ball in my secondary stance?
the two big things I tell our catchers is you want to try to be on time and take your belly button to the ball. If you accomplish those two things, it'll be a successful block. Make sure you check out our blocking videos too!
Still don’t know why this doesn’t have 1m views
Haha, thanks! Spread the word 👌
Catching IQ I watch these in school, at home, pregame, etc. keep up the work man, you’re an inspiration
Really great info!!
Thanks for watching!

Focus on the right mechanics. He’ll throw harder as he gets older, but the earlier he can learn the better. Thanks for watching

I have been catching a while now, and I have made some bad blocking habits, any ideas how to break those bad habits?
Hard to say without seeing you block. We do video analysis if you are interested in that? If you are send me an email at catchingiq@gmail.com
