6 cups cherries, pitted (2 1/4 lbs)
1 Tbsp lemon juice
3/4 cups sugar (use 1 cup for sour cherry pie)
5 Tbsp corn starch
1/2 tsp cinnamon

I just made this recipe today and it is DELICIOUS! I've only ever seen people use canned cherries in pie recipes (which to me is gross) so I have been turned off by the idea of cherry pie in the past. But this recipe has totally change my mind. I don't own a pie dish so I used a square baking dish and it still came out wonderful. The crust recipe was excellent. I've been looking for a good crust recipe for a while, but to no avail. I will only be using Natasha's crust recipe from now on. Thank you!

Hi Natasha I made this Cherry pie it was so yummy. I just couldn't stop eating it .... With the ice cream it was surely next level. And also this was the first time I made pie. My cherries were not like yours because I live in India. I think this was the best of my baking until now.
