- Last October, we traveled around Turkey for 16 days. After visiting Istanbul, we headed to Cappadocia: the "Land of Beautiful Horses", surreal rock formations, hot air balloon rides at sunrise, cave churches and accommodations, and much more!

You will love Cappadocia Larry! It is easily one of the most unique places we’ve ever visited. Chano and I were constantly amazed with the rock formations. The balloon ride was also a great experience for us!

We couldn´t bring our drone (a DJI Mavic Air 2) to Turkey, their regulations to fly legally in the country were not very clear, so we didn´t want to take risks. All the aerial shots you´ll see in our Turkey Travel Series are from "Storyblocks.com".

Hello we will travel to cappadocia in may and we want to rent a car but we are wondering if there we can park inside the city ?

Yes, we didn´t have problems to park inside the towns, we had to pay a small fee for parking next to Uchisar Castle, but in Goreme we found free parking near our hotels with no problem, just be careful inside Goreme Old Town there are high slopes and narrow streets, it´s better to have a small car and full insurance too, also because some of the roads near the fairy chimneys are not the best. In Ortahisar the main square had also a small parking fee, but we found a free parking in a nearby street. In most of the viewpoints the parking is free too. At least in October was mostly free, not sure if in summer they may charge you, but prices are really low for parking, don´t worry too much about it! Wish you a wonderful trip in Cappadocia! 😊🇹🇷❤️
how long a trip is good to visit capadoccia?
thanks for watching! We think that at least 3 days and 3 nights, but we stayed an extra day because there is so much to see and do. We know people that even went there for a whole week. 🙂

Thanks for watching! We mentioned it in the video. 😅 We paid 170€ per person, but we booked 6 months in advance, when we were there the cheapest that other people could get was 200€ per person. It´s better to book in advance as prices may keep increasing, all the balloons were full even if it was low season. Hope you can enjoy the ride too! 🙂

How to rent car?
thanks for watching! You can contact the same "Temas Rent a Car Cappadocia" company we used and do the rental with them with WhatsApp talking directly to the owner (his name is Apo). No need to prepaid anything or use credit card as they accept cash. You can read their recent reviews in Google Maps. They have car rental Nevsehir Airport and in Goreme town too.

I had someone tell me my life will get worse and worse over the years. I hope that is not true because I have been through enough and don’t deserve to suffer.
