Great video! Picked up the cawgates deck you played on cardmarket and loved it! An absolutely insane tech my friend put me onto was Advanced Stitchwing. 4 mana 2/4 flyer with that can recur at instant speed for 3 mana + discarding 2 cards. Helps you pitch cats and strands if you need to and is really good against removal spells
Pauperganda just went 5-0 in a league with his Birdstorm list. Artifact Duals, Cleansing Wildfire, Murmuring Mystic, Goblin Electromancer, Sprout Swarm. Would love to see you give that a try.
Cant wait for the workshop videos. I think that yuor articles are cool, but that the video format is the way to go. You could even sqeeze some of them into youtube shorts too!
@@AndreaMengucci I think that MTG articles are a relic of the past, and are only accesable/interesting for the Spikes who are grinding tournaments. I'm a commander player, but the card market 1v1 paper videos reignited my competitive spirit, so I sold my PS5 to get into modern (lol). I find however that there is a lack of "entertaining" content aimed at the competitive player IMHO. Stuff like a 1hr unedited monologue about how to sideboard a deck is a turn off to me. Watching the cardmarket videos and seeing the thought procceses of both players really kept me engaged in the matches. I think there are a few interesting "faster" content creators out there showcasing cool modern decks, but because they are on MTGO it makes me snooze (IMO).
I would really appreciate a version of this with the newly added Judge’s Familiar! Even a Mono White Weenie with Judge’s familiar would be cool to see!
I enjoy your Modern content but your pauper stuff is my favorite. Its my favorite format especially since I can buy all the tier one and two decks if i want for the cost of one modern deck. Lol. Its just such a fun format. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see your Skred deck.
woohoo pauper!! i just brewed up a soul sisters deck also playing red for some card draw!! ive only had a chance to face it against UW all that glitters, and RW synthesizer. not too bad against either
I'd love to see your take on Gardens and any potential changes you'd make to the deck, but mostly I just enjoy the content...even when you admittedly aren't playing optimally.
I picked up some d6’s that have one of mtg colors on each side (plus yellow) and it’s been great for marking colors on things like gates and chrome mox. They’re the same size as regular chessex dice so I just swapped some of the numbered dice for them to fit them all in the original box
What do you think about Gates in non-blue shells? Perhaps a more midrange Mardu one compared the control Jeskai? I´ve had some success leaning on Ephemerate and replacing the Emblems with the Gates package. Also, concerning the papier pieces you use for the gates - I cut out the colored mana emblem from leftover basic lands which works quite well too.

Love the paper for gate mana indicator. I cut up some basic lands for the mana symbol to use in my legacy painter to achieve something similar.
