    Italian Base Camp (3,660 meters)

Italian Base Camp to Glacier Camp
Leaving the Italian Base Camp, the trail ascends through rugged terrain and glacial moraines. The path can be challenging due to loose rocks and the high altitude. You’ll traverse alongside the Chhonbardan Glacier, experiencing the raw beauty of the ice formations and the sheer scale of the surrounding peaks. The route offers glimpses of the Dhaulagiri massif and its neighboring peaks. After several hours of trekking, you'll reach the Glacier Camp, where you will set up tents on the rocky surface.
