@@thespider-boy9497 i guess it was because you destroyed alot of enemies and made alot of points during this long journey with each of the three members, since if well executed you can still get a decent to okay rating.
Too be fair it makes sense. Charmy would think they were cool and fun, espio is a ninja so i dont think he'd be scared but more so weary, and vectore is too hot headed, he might be a little uneasy but probably not scared. A nice touch for their characterisation
Once Espio's reached level 3, you can use a homing attack to blow out the torches :) Any level 3 speed character produces wind when performing their homing attack, so it also works on pawns with shields, poles etc.

You definitely not played Mad Space or Cannon's Core in Sonic Adventure 2 (and the Dreamcast version is even harder than any other port). Other examples of infamous levels: Stormy Anscent (cancelled level from the beta of Crash Bandicoot 1 PSX. The level was deleted from the final version because it was very hard to master, and it was buggy. It could be played with an special cheat code in gameshark for PS1 and also was included in the N Sane Trilogy Remaster as one of the bonus levels).
Hot take: This mission is not even that bad. There's no alternate paths where there are torches, making it fair. The blue torch variant, however, can die in a hole.
I mean, yeah, it's fair, I just find it really boring because you constantly have to stop where you are to light up all the torches in an area, whereas in most of Team Chaotix's other missions, you get the items as you go along the level.

This mission is easily the worst in the game. So fucking repetitive, somehow I encountered a glitch where I had about 56 torches lit, was about to beat it but for some reason it wouldn't go any further than that.

extinguished 60 torches, looks at rank screen, chaotix still stuck in white void.
I got stuck in this level for 45 minutes in my first run aaaand somehow I got B rank

Don't forget that the same rule also applies to rocket accel. Though it's not necessarily recommended for much of this stage.

yeah its just boring cuz using the tornado over and over makes the level slow asf

I can't ever get Charmy to pull that doggone switch on the high wall. Any tips on an easier way to do this?
I'm sure you got it by now but just hold the jump button on that first jump and get as high as you can then keep flying
