Major tip here - the negative battery post on the Mopar battery has a recess it in it that the negative terminal adapter sits in. You must spread and pry it off at the same time to get the adapter out of the recess. Once you see it, what I said will make sense. I fought way too long trying to get that thing off the battery.
Iam in the fight, trying everything bro
Finally your comment bro. Seriously appreciate it. Got er done ✅
You helped me change my battery today, first time I’ve ever done it! Thank you!

Yeah it’s 12v
My Man, please, get a magnetic phone holder. I am begging you, hahahaha
Ok
I've let my battery stay dead for about 5 years because of all the B.S. attaching it to the car (plus the $250 price of the battery). Maybe today will be the day that I fix it
Yeah do it urself!!!!
@@RBTheMechanic can't find the key now 😅
@xINVISIGOTHx what?
All I did was take the negative off and clean it up. Now I get every code imaginable and no start 🤷🏽♂️. Any advice.
Check ur connections I had issue once’s I put battery togather on another jeep ac stoped working and all light came on the bolted wires didn’t go flush and it lost power on sum wires redue it

Do u have to reset the code for new battery on this jeep renegade thats what advance auto parts said
Yes but I think it’s only reset from screen u might be able to do it
I have t done anything tho
Wow Wow Wow . just use to be two battery cable and battery hole down.
Yeah not I seen crazy stuff vaccum sensors 10 wires all kinds of stuff acura mdx has fan funny stuff
WHO IN THE WORLD PAYS MECHANIC TO CHANGE BATTERY?? :DDDDDDDD IT'S A 3 MINUTES JOB.
Lol yeah
It does vary by car, some are very deep inside and need a lot of stuff moved and removed to access, not to mention some brands needing professional tools to reset codes or calibrate the battery to the car. In this case, it would simply be a matter of needing a few tools and the strength to lift the battery, but not everyone has a toolkit, or the strength to lift the battery. Plus, people are told big batteries are dangerous, because they can be, and are afraid to touch them themselves.
2:40 looks crazy and complicated????? For whom??? who in the world would think that for a second???
