I'm 19 and was diagnosed with PCOS earlier this week. Your videos were on my recommended page and I scrolled back and found this video and am watching in tears. I've been so upset and terrified because all I want to do in life is be a mom. Seeing how excited you are and that you now have a baby really gives me hope. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing! So happy it's worked out for you.

I have been subscribed to you guys for quite a while now and was just diagnosed with PCOS. I love that you guys documented the whole process! It's encouraging to see where you are now compared to all you've been through. Thank you for that! I know it'll happen for my hubby and I, but it's helpful to see others' experiences.

I am watching your videos and nothing made me cry more than when the fertility doctor said he could help us. It made us feel like the road of so many infertile years was behind us.

I was diagnosed with PCOS roughly four months ago, after I had some suspicions on my end. I'm no where near ready for kids, but it's definitely on my mind that I'll need to be more prepared for when I am ready to get that ball rolling. This video gve me waaaaay more information than my GYN. I looove her, but I feel like she spent more time trying to keep me from jumping to worst scenario rather than giving me all the information of what PCOS actually does- and there is only so much that you can get from internet research. I've been watching you guys for a while now- along with ***** and even though I don't necessarily have an "Infertility Journey" yet, I'm glad that I have a slight insight on to what I can be looking at for if/when that time comes where I will have to look into fertility treatments. Thank you!!

Your story is really inspiring, my best friend was diagnosed with PCOS a few years back and she has been really worried that she might never be able to have a child. Seeing videos like this on TH-cam gives some hope that she'll be able to have one if she wants to! Thank you so much!

I was diagnosed with pcos when I was 16. The doctors told me I wouldn't be able to have kids without fertility treatments. I got married at 18 and had my first baby at 19. Now I'm 21 and just had my second baby. I got pregnant all on my own. No treatments or anything. Don't let pcos get you down. It is possible to get pregnant on your own.

Hi everyone! This is just splendid! The most informative and assistive video ever. I have seen doctors just tell their patients that you are suffering from PCOS and then bye. People lose their hopes and and fall into depression. But this video and your story , wow , amazing it will definitely give hopes to hopeless and worried couples. One should never be hopeless from the blessings of God. God always assist His people in some ways or the other.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2009. Although I'm not ttc I found your video and doctor more informative then several doctors I've seen over the years. They make PCOS sound like a death sentence. Thank you for sharing your journey. And thank you to your doctor for explaining it so thoroughly.

I was just thinking this! I was diagnosed a few years ago and I just learned more from this doctor than I ever learned from the ones I've seen. Granted, they were Naval hospital doctors and not fertility specialists, but it's frustrating to have gone this long, and been trying to conceive for a year now and not have known this!

My twin sister was diagnosed with PCOS at 11 or 12 I believe (we'll be 20 in a month). I was never diagnosed with that (although since we're twins it's more likely that I do/will have it too) but I had to have a large cyst removed from INSIDE my left ovary (usually they are on the outside and smaller) about 4.5 years ago. I was days away from losing that ovary because of the cyst. I have most odds against me considering almost every woman on my mom's side (including my mom) has/has had a reproductive system disorder. When my sister was diagnosed, I actually had knowledge of IVF treatments and all that (not usually what a 12 year old thinks about, but I have always been curious and wanting to absorb information about everything). So one of my first thoughts was "oh my gosh, she's probably going to have to go through that long, expensive process." But, as people like Ellie and Jared have shown us, it is possible and it's not the end all be all of getting pregnant. Also, I thought you might find this interesting and encouraging: one of my many cousins (on my mom's side of course) had one of her ovaries removed due to an issue many years ago. When she and her husband got married in November 2007, they didn't know if she would ever get pregnant. By January, she was pregnant. Fast forward to today and they now have 3 healthy kids. It's truly amazing that she got pregnant so easily. And to top it off, she's an OB nurse! Ironic, huh?

The content in this video is informative. PCOS directly leads to fertility problems. My aunt suffered from infertility due to this. Then she also consulted a fertility specialist. She had regular checkups at the clinic. This really helps. Their opinion matters a lot. Hoping for the best.

I am reaching out to you with my breaking heart! this inspires me yet makes me even more sad!. I have an almost 6 year old son. He will be 6 in September 2015 my husband and I have been trying for number 2 for around 5 years now and can not get pregnant. I conceived Sept 2014 and lost the baby 6 weeks later. At the time of my miscarriage I was advised by my newer doctor that I have PCOS and I have always had it, and that it was on my chart from when I had my son, yet everyone regret to tell me. And now I have struggled to conceive all this time. If I would have had the knowledge 5 years ago on my PCOS things would have been so different and here I am still struggling to this day to conceive and the fertility drug I need to push things along is not available at this time. It breaks my heart that it will never happen for us and to be honest I have given up on having baby number 2. But this video just gave me a little glimpse of hope again. Thank you.

I happened on your channel the other day and didn't have time to watch your journey, Thank YOU soo much for posting your visit to the fertility specialist, i have been diagnosed with PCOS i have had 2 ultra sounds they never told me anything of what was found just said you have PCOS, and sent me on my way, never sitting down and explaining ANYTHING. i have been with my (ex-husband) boyfriend for 13 years now, and we have always wanted to have kids together but i will go many many YEARS without a period! i think the last period (that lasted more than a day) was about 7 or 8 years ago, the last period i recorded was 3 years ago. it's gotten so disheartening thinking i might never get to have kids, that i started becoming OKAY with the reality that i may never have a child.

Kimberly Roehl I was recently diagnosed with PCOS as well - my doctor started me on Metformin (a medicine that is typically prescribed for people with diabetes) even though I don't have diabetes, because it can help your periods to return. My doctor also said it can be damaging for a woman to go three months without a period. If Metformin isn't the best choice for you, you can also ask about Provera to stimulate your period. Best of luck! :)

+Kailee Wallace i have been on Metformin for 5 years or so.. but great new's back in september 2015 i started having periods, at first every other month and since Jan. every month, we'll see how it goes but the periods are pretty darn close to what i started with pretty regular (almost on the dot) and VERY VERY heavy. Though they are lasting 5 to 7 days and pretty heavy i'm happy i'm having them again it's like i have to re-learn how to have periods they stopped at 14 and returned at 33! Crazy.

In 2002 I was diagnosed with PCOS as well. I did a couple of rounds of Clomid and it also didn't work for me. My OBGYN put me on Metformin (which is actually a medication for Diabetics) First month on, I ovulated and got pregnant. My son is almost 10 now. When it was time to get pregnant again, I got off the pill, took Metformin, and bam, pregnant again. I stayed on Metformin for most of my pregnancy. I am so thankful for my doctors knowledge of Metformin and helping me get pregnant.

At the end, we had to go for surrogacy. It worked out for us. We wonder now that why didn't we go for it at the 1st lace? Why the hell did we waste 4 years?

I watched this video like 2 weeks ago because me and my husband are TTC and we have had lots of setbacks in one boy born to ealy that we lost due to that, an early miscarriage also and loooooooooooong wait inbetween the pregnancies. Now nothing has happened for 1 year 2 months so we started going to a fertility specialist. I just fond out last week I have PCOS. I was so surprised, i watched this video like i said two weeks ago and you said you did not have any symptoms of pcos, and i was like hmm maybe i have that too, but then i was like, no probably not. I have had no symptoms at all neither. Always regular periods, plus i have gotten pregnant several times unfortiunately has it not ended good. But yes. I have pcos too. Thanx for this video. Im gonna watch some more of your videos now, hopeful to see you have kids with pcos. I hope it will come for us soon too with some help =) the wait is just so long even though we have gotten pregnant, in between it takes so long over a year. and since we started trying it has been 3 years. it is very hard to wait and long for children when you want it so bad.

Jilliansgotsomenews I have, and it's been rough, but PCOS is an 'okay' diagnosis to get as far as infertility is concerned. How long have you been ttc? best of luck :)

I just found out I have PCOS, and I'm at the beginning stages of trying to get pregnant, we have not prevented pregnancy, and always tried to get pregnant, but this is the first time we've went to a Fertility specialist, and he told me I have PCOS. I don't do videos but I'd like to talk with others too, so I can get tips and other stuff, because I have to lose weight and he gave me some pills, but i'm not sure waht they are yet. I haven't picked them up yet.

I am. We have been trying for 3 years. Got pregnant 2 years ago and lost our baby due to early birth in week 21. Then an early miscarriage 1 year 2 months ago and then trying since then. I was wondering why it takes so long and i just had a feeling something was off. After our early miscarriage my period was not coming until every 7th week. That is sooooooooo long cycle. We found out just a week ago i have pcos, plus my hubby has low testosterone because of a medicin. So we are now waiting for some results to decide what help to get. But I had no symptoms of my pcos except long time before getting pregnant. 1 year first time and 1 year 2 months nothing happened now. And my long periods but like i said that did not start until after my early miscarriage, up until then my periods were always normal. So i was so surprised it was pcos.

That's so weird ,they told me I didn't have PCOS but they said my ovary is three or four times bigger than the normal one and there's a cyst on it. I don't have regular periods and I have thyroid problems and I'm insulin resistant and pre diabetic. I just want to know what's going on and they don't tell me I guess cause I'm so young. Maybe someone can tell me what they think. I've been having hair loss for over a year and I've been taking biotin and vitamins for 6 months but it hasn't stopped.

After trying to get pregnant for three months, I made the decision that I need to try something new. Luckily, I tried the “wucu shocking plan” (Google it) it’ll help you gain the ability to study cycles and symptoms of your menstruation and also detect any imbalances. I’ve insisted my buddies to try trying this plan. mug up much about it by Google.
