Great showing for the Dogs of War. Let's face it, it would have been an uphill battle for anyone playing Blood & Glory against a slayer strong list with Ungrim. Can't break them have to kill to the man. Nice job 👍 Let's see more of those Dogs in the future.

Excellent battle report, really like how you do them (i.e. occasionally being like "we'll resolve this and get back to you". That's really clever!). Love how you keep 8th alive, that's right up my alley. Just two rule-nitpickeries from a fellow Dwarf player: - due to the "Slayer Cult" special rule (p44), only Slayer characters are allowed to join Slayer units. As much as we'd love a Runesmith (or a BSB Thain, for that matter) in the unit for that nice armour piercing bonus, unfortunately it's not allowed. - this one is tricky, but I think the Banner of the Lost Holds sadly is also not allowed in a Slayer unit, even with Ungrim's "Slayer King" special rule. I used to do it like this as well, but it says in the Slayer King special rule that one unit of slayers may take a RUNIC standard worth up to 100pts. (likewise, all units eligible to take a magic standard also only have "may take a runic standard" written). It does say in the text for Ancestral Heirlooms (p58) that a character (!) may take an AH in addition to runic items, not units. Moreover, while Lords, Thains and Runesmiths/-lords specifically have "may take a combination of Ancestral Heirlooms and runic item" written, Master Engineers and Slayer character do not mention this. And neither do any of the units with magic banners. All of this lets me believe that sadly sadly sadly the excellent Ungrim + BotLH combination is not possible, as Ungrim can only join Slayers but a Thain-BSB cannot.

@Bunker Gaming Oh God, what have I done. Sorry J! As I said, I'm not 100% sure on this one, at least not with rules-as-intended. Cause let's face it, most standard runes will not do much for Slayers. And as for general "rusty with the rules": You guys already taught me that the front rank counts for steadfast, I think we're good here :) Played my first game of Warhammer like 27 years ago.Will there ever be a time I remember/know *every* rule? Doubtful. ;)
I do like seeing a Dogs of War list. I often feel they are niche armies that no1 really takes, but they have some quality army components. thanks for uploading this :-)
I would request you mark WAP as WAP in the titel instead of 8th. Alot of the bigger channels are doing just that an it really saves us viewers time when sorting through the content. Thx!

1:42 I don't think it really matters how official the book is, especially for a game and franchise that was dragged behind the chemical shed and shot a good 7 years ago. It's the communities game, now.
Love the custom printed army book, that's lovely. Got me curious now about if there's anyone near me offering custom book printing services, time to hit up google. :^)
Indeed. Almost every fantasy tournament uses some form of Comp or restrictions, so it's evolved way beyond where GW left it. Just glad to see fantasy still alive!
