Great video Sean. Your getting really good at these instruction videos. There are questions in the comments about updating the installed programs in Hampi. A couple fellas tried to update the clock app and received errors.
You and others are doing a great thing in ditching Raspberry pi. Their loyalty is to commercial vendors first and availability scalpers not included is nil. Chip shortage only carries water for so long.
    All the best, Craig Antioch

Sean, just wanted say that out of ALL the ham radio youtubers out there, you have inspired and educated me to do more in this hobby than any other source.
Because of you, I got a Quadra, then went down the Linux rabbit hole 😂, then made several different antennas, then got into Winlink, then HF , etc, etc.....
You channel has been like a gateway drug! Hahahaha.
Thanks for all the info, all the education and for your down to earth style and humor!
    Happy Independence Day!!!

Just got mine. Since then the config screen where you put your call sign allows you to enter your 6 digit grid, so that will get the map centered on you. The other thing, resolutions. When I first powered it up, I was on a 27" computer monitor. When I unplugged it and plugged it into my 65" TV, hamclock was smaller, however, exiting hamclock caused the OS to resize to the TV resolution, then I ran Hamclock again, and it was full screen as expected.

Great video, Sean, as well as your Ham-Pi videos. I know Ham-Pi includes Ham Clock as part of its installation. However, the latest version of Ham-Pi for the Inovato is ~Nov 2022, whereas the latest Ham Clock is late December 2022. In other words, the latest Ham-Pi doesn't contain the latest Ham Clock. The same situation might occur for the fldigi suite, wsjtx, etc. Do you know if you can easily update the individual components within Ham-Pi after the initial installation? Thanks again for the great video. 73 Ken -- WBØOCV

You can update things after installation. I recently made a video on how to update hamclock, for example. I am going to have to do a video on WSJTX, I kept waiting (mainly due to being busy but also I thought there would be an update on the 64 bit version of the OS which would have resolved some of these things. Standby for a WSJTX upgrade video.

Very nice presentation! Here is the million dollar question - now that there is an update to HamClock, how do you update it? When you try to tell the app to do itself, it says:
    Update failed: Error 1
    Can not edit
    /usr/bin
    Permission denied
I am logged in as pi from the HamPi load and I have run sudo apt-get update and upgrade but it doesn't upgrade the file.
    Thanks in advance.

I’m using the small keyboard mouse combo. I can minimize ham clock and choose shut down from the top right quadra menu but the device only goes into a standby mode. It doesn’t shut down and the fan keeps running. I have to manually unplug it to shut it down.

I have been following your you tube on setting up the Quadra to run Ham Clock and have got it running (thanks to you). I do still have a problem with the last line of code for auto boot on startup. When I apply power it goes to the pi login box and if I click with mouse it opens Ham Clock without any additional input. But I cannot get the last line of code to take it directly to Ham Clock. I have been inputting " sudo nano/etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/11 -armbian.conf ". I get a message that says the command is not recognized and I have tried this multiple times. Also, can you show me the path to the file where these files are being written? I have every thing on a 32gb card, not on the internal memory. Thanks for any help you or any other user can give me.
