Hi we are harvesting our peanuts at the moment but they dont seem to invert so good. A lot still to the side or still on the bottom any ideas to why? Too much dirt?
Thanks for a bit of a post Hurricane Sally update! Looking like the next several days across the 850 will be an improvement weather wise. Really enjoy watching peanuts get dug! I dunno what smells better... fresh dug peanuts or fresh chopped corn silage.
@@JenkinsFarmsJayFlorida The only technology we had were hand tools like hoe's, pitchforks, rakes and etc......and a lot of back breaking manual labor. But we did have a tractor and a one row corn picker. I remember one guy that used mules until almost 1960. You are right, technology is the only way to go. Good luck with the harvesting.
Hello. I am producer of peanuts in Turkey. I want to meet you and get information about your machines.
Where do you get your hardfacing blades? I've never seen them here in Australia

Farming has changed since the 1950's when I was growing up.
Yes.. it’s changed a lot in my lifetime and I’m 46. We are always trying to become more efficient and that usually comes from technology.
