    The Line 6 M5 Stompbox Modeler is just like other single pedal-size stompboxes -- it provides one effect at a time, it takes up a single space on a pedal board and it's easy to use. The Line 6 M5 delivers one brilliant effect at a time with over 100 overdrive/distortions, lush choruses, scintillating reverbs and many other expressive filter effects from famous Line 6 pedals including DL4, Verbzilla and other well-known Line 6 pedals.
    The Line 6 M5 Stomp Box Modeler features a heavy-duty, all-metal construction to handle constant stomping. The Line 6 M5 fully stereo, MIDI capable, expression pedal optional, with tap tempo and much more. It works the way you'd expect it. One unique effect at a time. Just plug in and play.
    The Line 6 M5 Stompbox Modeler is ideal for all guitarists, especially those who love pedals but can't spend a small fortune collecting them and want a wide variety of stompbox tones but don't want to spend all day tweaking endless controls.
    100+ modern and vintage distortions, delays, modulators, filters, reverbs and more
    Simple one-effect-at-a-time design
    Built-in tuner with signal mute
    No menus, no saving, no hassles -- turn a knob and your settings remain, just like an analogue stomp box
    True Analogue bypass or DSP bypass which keeps reverb and delay trails
    First-class Line 6 modelling
    Wide variety of stompbox tones
    Easy to use, just like an analogue stompbox

    One of the best L6 fx demos i saw on you tube !

    On the m5 you can only use one effect at a time. It's considered a "Swiss army knife". The m9 and m13 let you mix effects

    @mauroo33 The Line 6 and M series pedals feature in many pro guitar setups so no real issue there. You can select true bypass as well.

    @potp5150 YES, EITHER ENTER PRESET MODE THEN UP AND DOWN TO SELECT THE PRESET YOU WANT AND THEN PRESS BOTH TOGETHER TO RECALL THAT PRESET .
    THE OTHER WAY IS IN THE SYSTEM MENU, SELECT INSTANT RECALL SO WHEN YOU SCROLL THROUGH THEM THEY LOAD AS YOU GO SO BETTER TO ORGANISE THEM BEFOREHAND
    Caps lock now off. xxx

    @floritejoe The M9 and M13's are the ones you should look at for multi fx patches.

    @dincorcelles To capture the M5 in stereo we used a software Fender Blackface amp model set up as basic clean.

    You could also hook it up to a Boss GFC-50 or a Midi-mouse or something like that.
    That's something I think you missed out on, it's a great pedal to add to an already midi-controlled setup, integrates perfectly!

  • @PMTVUK
    @PMTVUK  13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @kingstumble But a lot of the FX are all modelled on an original pedal, and they are the same ones that are in the very well respected M13 & M9. Classic pedals can't surely be considered an waste of time, although I agree it would sound better through your own guitar and amp set up.

  • @floritejoe
    @floritejoe 13 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Can you combine a few different effects into one preset??

  • @kingstumble
    @kingstumble 13 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    @NevadaMusicUK I take your point but all I meant was that for me they are a waste of time because I don't use 'em!
    In the past I've tried phasers,flangers,choruses and the like but these days it's simply a Guild Bluesbird or Tele +Zendrive into a Fender Bassman--and that's it.
    Nothing makes a guitar sound more dated than if it's soaked in FX. Just my opinion of course.

    hi guys oh and girls, iv just bought this. all i wanted was a programable delay and the boss giga delay was what i had in mind. i saw this and took a gamble and bought it. its a gem i can program loads of different delays and have got tap tempo, and a tuner. BUT much more, the quality of the other effects are great, and the pitch shifter is a good as my boss harmonizer.

    Great demo. It'd make me buy one if I'd not just splashed out on a TC G System(!)
    Love the humour in the captions too. Keep it up!

    Great demo, rad pedal. it's definitely at the top of my shopping list.
    Can you adjust the speed of the sequencer type fx like seeker and pattern tremolo?
    Maybe even adjust them in milliseconds like you can with the delay fx??

    Is it possible to override the speed knob on the phaser and flanger models, to make the sweep manual, instead of just affecting how fast the sweep is. Im looking for a phaser/flanger that could be used like a wah pedal, can the M5 do it?

  • @TheSullenDude
    @TheSullenDude 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @SteezSandwich No, check the description link... if it could play at least two at a time it would be freakin awesome! it's like a pedal that takes,lets say, different forms :P
