Completely independend of the age gap or if things are tonally appropriate for the game you are playing, there are things that players should simply not be allowed to do to other player's characters without those players explicit consent. Like, cutting of a limb or destroying their signature items. Drugging a character and doing ... stuff while they are unconscious certainly falls under that.
This! I am amazed at how many of these stories are about something that clearly crosses lines happening to a character without the player's consent. I thought it was rule #1 that you don't do that without getting the player's buy-in.
I can justify a falling out between characters that ends in a sick wound like a missing eye or a destroyed magic item. If agreed upon by all parties that can be really narratively interesting thing to play out. The last thing, has no place in a game. Maybe that can be a heavy theme in a heavy campaign if that’s agreed upon by all parties but player on player? Never. Notice how big a part mutual consent plays?
As someone who literally just watched Transformers One a few days ago, hearing the random *“minors”* in the warning scene got a bit of a chuckle out of me. “Rrgh, Minors! Rnngh! RRRRRNNNGH!!”

15:19 funnily enough I'm playing a character like this right now, my table loves it. He acts like a looney toons villain but is highly specialized in like 2 things so he fails horribly so intensely and so often that the party is genuinely surprised whenever he actually succeeds instead of getting his just desserts for being an ass hahaha. "Don't walk ahead, let me take point!" says the squishiest mofo on the team. "Don't worry, I'll just break this door down" says the guy with negative strength. "You wait here and I'll stealth around them" says the guy with huge feet that are always wet because he's infused with the water element such that it makes a "squish squish squish" noise as he walks. 😂
I have to admit I felt a bit called out by the title as I started in a similar (but also entirely different) situation in my dnd campaign… I am playing a young adult, she lived a very sheltered life and therefore behaves much more naive than she should be. During the adventure she developed a very complicated, romantic feelings for an npc who's around her dad‘s age (even older) due to plot reasons, traumas and father complex. The thing is, however, both the dm and other players consented to this development and we actually discussed both in character and out of character about what this feeling is and how we're gonna deal with it. And there's nothing sexual about it, either. In the end the npc and my pc had a long, educating conversation where he helped her to sort this feeling out, before explaining to her why he cannot accept her romantic love. He then told her that he loves her as a daughter regardless. It became an important character development moment for my character as the two settled with a father-daughter relationship. Sometimes a character can make morally ambiguous choices… but it's all about consent with dm/other players and making sure the player and the character is separated. What happened in the video seems like the girl was trying to force her kink onto everyone else… It's always good to remember that despite playing a younger character, YOU as the player is not a child 😭
That is actually fantastic though, and a bit heartbreaking, I have always had a deep love for media and storytelling that can approach very mature and sometimes upsetting topics with proper nuance and respect, it’s an important story to tell because that stuff happens irl

Damn. I only use AI Art for character face portraits for my characters. Mostly because I can’t draw and I don’t have the money to commission and artist
@@musicallyjamesthis. It’s wild to me that you would go that far to tell others what they can or can’t do for character art. Is it equally unethical to just grab someone else art from Google or whatever? No everyone can commission art, not everyone can draw either.
@@braedenmclean5304Just because you can't commission an artist, it doesn't give you justification to use AI. AI is bad because it's trained off the works of artists who didn't consent for their art to be used in such a program. Also, you're not obligated to have a custom piece of art for your character. DM guilt for mistakes is so real. I've accidentally destroyed campaigns by being too allowing or too controlling. That's how you learn to become a better DM. My lessons were "no second PC for one character", "no DMPC", and "don't let things get too wackadoo, keep things somewhat serious." Also learned about how not fun railroading is for storytelling purposes . . . always give the players agency or the appearance of agency.
Ok, that last one brought up a memory, and not a bad one. During an old oneshot campaign my character was a Druid (DM of that session allowed us to have a "set form" for what we could turn into without any cost and for me that was a leucistic crow) and another player who was kind of like that person who was the "dad" of the group only a Barbarian/Bard who was VERY gay (He collected crystals to crush to make "distraction powder" (AKA glitter he'd blow into an enemy's eyes, really funny honestly). A few players kind of thought he was going to go the route of a creepy "hub" version of a dad, but no the dude was just straight-up a dad in how he acted and often meshed well with my character with combos in combat (Crow dropping literal glitterbombs became a signature of the group). Well when we got to the end of the oneshot we all got these cool emotional departures to end the story satisfyingly and my character was one who kinda had no family because they watched them get slaughtered in their crow forms, so the big bardbarian dad knelt down to my character's height (I was a Halfling and a newly turned adult; basically had a birthday they never celebrated and became an adult as the campaign began is how we ran it) and asked if my character would like to come along with them to their village as their son. I leaned into that storyline since I had no idea really what I wanted my character to wrapup with but part way began crying literally, because in IRL I actually never had much of a reference for a father for uncomfortable reasons outside of an awesome grandfather. The group began a full campaign a few months later with them all having relatives of their old characters, but the bardbarian was back and so was my character as a father-daughter team and now he had one eye due to an injury, so his nickname became Odin as my character would often travel in crow form on his shoulder on his blindside to act as his eye (Would do so in their natural form too). Think Sig Curtis from Fullmetal Alchemist meets the Goblin King from Labyrinth meets Henri Azazel from Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun, by that I mean the looks of Sig and the King with the attitude and personality of Henri... Maybe a bit of Jaskier from The Witcher for the flare too. Overall, that campaign was amazing and by the end of it everyone was usually referring to us as the "Stormcloud Family" both as a reference to the Odin nickname and the glitter, plus the lightning spells along with my Druid's hair often looking like "big fluffy cloud" (Kinda like Deku from My Hero Academia but white hair that's kinda lightly tinted blue; blue cotton is the best I can describe it). Bardbarian has been a close friend to my younger brother too and my fiance, in fact he's getting married in February coming up and we're cosplaying as our characters (His soon-to-be-husband is also in that campaign and was our ever-worrying Cleric, AKA Mama Hen-drick).
For the first half of that ATLA one, I legit thought it was gonna be about a game I was in. Barring a few minor details (which could easily be altered for privacy sake), it sounds identical (complete with how many of each bending style) to a game I am playing in until it got to the timing people stuff.
Do they understand that in the setting where food is not as abandunt as nowadays, many girls probably wouldn't have their periods started at 15. My periods started almost at 15 and wasn't regular till 16 and I even wasn't especially skinny.
my group has a rp thing where if somebody is getting too mushy in the rp, we all make kissy noises until they get the hint. it's something we all agreed to, like this is our vibe. not for everybody, but it helps us a lot to not call people out harshly, or get too irritated if we get called out. its hard to get into a frustrated state with your friends all going "ooh mwah mwah mwah" like?? i recommend this to yall.
The AtLA that guy reminds me of an extreme version of the problem player who largely caused the downfall of a three-year, 12-level campaign I once GMed. 😣
Second Story: That sounds to me like the airbender player thought that if they played an airbender, it would make them the main character and focus of the entire campaign, because that's what Aang was in ATLA, and when other people were getting some screentime, she saw it as butting into her Main Character Plot time.
When it comes to that first story with Chad and Sonya- Gods, guy just doesn't know how to take a hint and was trying to live his fantasy with Sonya out in game hoping it would become real. That's so creepy. Roleplaying our a relationship with your character and your friend's can be fun, I've done it multiple times, but it's important that it doesn't feel FORCED and weird. I sometimes use my characters to flirt with my boyfriend in character, but that's... You know, my partner that I already have a relationship with outside of the game. And any other in character flirting with another player character or an NPC is done because there was build up. It wasn't just me doing it specifically to flirt with a friend, the relationship and bond the characters had grew naturally.
My first ranger started out as a 15 y/o. We were effectively at a military high-school learning so we could go fight a war that was going very poorly for our country. The campaign has spanned a long time now though. And not much in the way of romance. What little there is has been pretty wholesome. It's... strange seeing something so close to my good experience yet so so so much worse. XD
I feel bad for the last guy because I'm playing the daughter for a paired character with my friend playing the Dad, and we're having a really fun time with the relationship. I can't imagine wanting to make that relationship creepy and gross.
the fact that the GM allowed the, uh, assault? is kind of shocking. i've never played ttrpgs but it seems to me that something like that should maybe give a person pause.
8:05 Crispy are you telling me you couldn't seduce a woman in a video game because you were playing another lesbian again? That's hilarious, never change
that last story is a prison of your own making tbh, if the story makes you uncomfortable you can communicate it out of character. if OP said something it wouldn't have gotten that far bc she would've had to stop or OP would have a reason to leave the group before reaching an their breaking point
For the first story and the setup with "You have only what's on you" idea depending on the state assuming it's in the US, that one player with CPL or a pistol locked in the glove box and however many mags they have, now the Gem has to stat a 9mm possibly hollow points... well now one player has a distinct advantage.
More players should openly voice their boundaries being violated by crap like this if the "DM" is letting it happen. *Don't be afraid to speak up. No one learns that this is not ok if you don't speak up in the session.* That "DM" doesn't deserve the title and that r-word, player mol est ing femmecel should have been kicked with a vengeance after the first text she sent them. If they were worthy of being a DM, they would have gotten rid of that ... creature. Ugh. 👿Stop it. Learn to respect boundaries. Seriously, I don't care what the rolls are.
Fourth Story: As bad as Teenranger was in this story, the actual villain here is the DM. After all, they're the one that had both her and OP roll for impregnation or whatever. They were going along with this.
One of my biggest flaws no joke is cracking wise during role-playing even as a dm when I hear the opportunity for a joke my mouth just takes it before my brain can do any thinking

Removing someone’s clothes without consent IS SA.
We had to "ban" AI images from our DND discord server. Because I'm an artist, and I legit LOST MY JOB because of AI. And some of my DND friends were raving about how cool AI was in the comments, sharing their "art". So I asked my DM to step in, or I was leaving. And thankfully, after bringing up how unethical AI was, they finally stopped using it (in our game at least, I don't know if they're still using it in their personal lives)
@@musicallyjames You can use Picrews or avatar generators made by artists for people to play with instead of generative AI.
@@braedenmclean5304 exactly
@@braedenmclean5304Just because you can't commission an artist, it doesn't give you justification to use AI. AI is bad because it's trained off the works of artists who didn't consent for their art to be used in such a program.
Also, you're not obligated to have a custom piece of art for your character. Its not a NEED at all.
I wonder if anyone did any introspection after the “romance” and then the barbarian never returned
That last story 💀
The way I progressively kept physically recoiling from my phone during the last story 😭
3:17 Oh no, he's learning. Quick, invent new sexual phrases!
Edging = Glorping, we are glorping
BABE WAKE UP WE’RE GETTIN CRISPY
But wait, wasn’t he in wolf form when she-oh lord….now I know I am definitely never playing table top irl 😅
Dr. Crispy 2 either is on a watch list or needs to be.
14:55 I ALMOST CHOKED ON MY EMPANADA LMFAOOOO
Also that’s why I replace her with Halsin the moment that becomes an option
Arcane mention! I giggled at the Jayce one with the audio.
3:13 I legit snorted 😂😂
3:14 caught me way off guard. Jesus Christ XD
“Party room” *fnaf neurons activated*
For the first half of that ATLA one, I legit thought it was gonna be about a game I was in. Barring a few minor details (which could easily be altered for privacy sake), it sounds identical (complete with how many of each bending style) to a game I am playing in until it got to the timing people stuff.
Do they understand that in the setting where food is not as abandunt as nowadays, many girls probably wouldn't have their periods started at 15. My periods started almost at 15 and wasn't regular till 16 and I even wasn't especially skinny.
27:31 "we don't want to stir the boat" 😆
When you don't want to rock the boat, or stir the pot: Stir the boat!
my group has a rp thing where if somebody is getting too mushy in the rp, we all make kissy noises until they get the hint. it's something we all agreed to, like this is our vibe. not for everybody, but it helps us a lot to not call people out harshly, or get too irritated if we get called out. its hard to get into a frustrated state with your friends all going "ooh mwah mwah mwah" like?? i recommend this to yall.
Are we going to get a Crispy clone prison? Crispy FBI?
dang it crispy I thought that phone alarm was REAL
The AtLA that guy reminds me of an extreme version of the problem player who largely caused the downfall of a three-year, 12-level campaign I once GMed. 😣
Second Story: That sounds to me like the airbender player thought that if they played an airbender, it would make them the main character and focus of the entire campaign, because that's what Aang was in ATLA, and when other people were getting some screentime, she saw it as butting into her Main Character Plot time.
I could have gone my whole life without seeing AI GodzillAss thank u crispy!
Kaijunk in the trunk.
Same. Ignorance is truly bliss.
Someone made worse without AI. Rule34 exists for a reason.
Whoa thanks algorithm, got here under a minute from publish time
Lucky me
We need an update on the pregnant girl. Is it a half wolf or a quarter wolf quarter man hybrid, oh the possibilities.
I mean, I think a Human and a Shifter would make a Shifter baby?
She went full omegaverse
3:13 shook me
'thats a sexual thing isn't it.' yes.. yes it is.
1:25 - I tried googling an image of a tiefling a few days ago, 90+% of all the images on Google were AI slop…..
Thanks for reminding me about Panam again. 🤦♂️😅 One day I’ll make a male V. 🤷♂️
XD
I had a character die in the first session once. It was my first ever game too! Truly a freak accident. I got crit hard and just...died.
I feel bad for the last guy because I'm playing the daughter for a paired character with my friend playing the Dad, and we're having a really fun time with the relationship. I can't imagine wanting to make that relationship creepy and gross.
Yes Crispy, it is a sexual thing, but...pretty sure you where on the spot with it. 😂
the fact that the GM allowed the, uh, assault? is kind of shocking. i've never played ttrpgs but it seems to me that something like that should maybe give a person pause.
8:05 Crispy are you telling me you couldn't seduce a woman in a video game because you were playing another lesbian again?
That's hilarious, never change
Even when it comes down to Crispy, Shadowheart still missing
My art is unskilled. But at least my honor is intact.
that last story is a prison of your own making tbh, if the story makes you uncomfortable you can communicate it out of character. if OP said something it wouldn't have gotten that far bc she would've had to stop or OP would have a reason to leave the group before reaching an their breaking point
For the first story and the setup with "You have only what's on you" idea depending on the state assuming it's in the US, that one player with CPL or a pistol locked in the glove box and however many mags they have, now the Gem has to stat a 9mm possibly hollow points... well now one player has a distinct advantage.
So that DMPC is Future Trunks. Got it.
7:30 Omg my mom watched that show, too! I forgot all about it!
