This is a year old but still gold! hehe thanks man! Gonna use all my dad's old sweaters and revamp them XD Bringing back the '80s in style lol
Thanks to shere yours, Im so amazed but sad cause i don't have a materials. I it good. Nice
Honestly, How could anyone not like your videos? They are the best sewing videos on TH-cam, hands down.
You take the time to explain the process thoroughly, give diagrams and make it comical. The gear you make is always fresh even if I don't personally wear the style myself (joggers for example ).
And you respond to emails and comments promptly...I appreciate your dedication.
The only thing left anyone could ask for is for together to sew it for them Lol
Shaka Farrier I appreciate the love!
In every tutorial, I always try to put myself in the perspective of a beginner. I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed or confused when watching my tutorials. So that's why I always put diagrams, text information, and walk people through all the steps rather than just some. Even if someone is completely lost, I'm always here to answer their questions. I'm still improving and learning. So If my tutorials still seem shaky, it will get better with time.
When I started TH-cam, I told myself that I would always try to respond to each and every comment that I could. At times, I literately spend hours responding to comments/e-mails. I do it because it's fun, it's a way to get feedback and most importantly, a way to interact with my viewers.
i cant go a day without your tutorials...you the best.
A beginner sewer here and will be do this for a fashion show. Thanks for the simplicity.
Just found your channel! You explain things so well I want to cry. Just got into sewing and I really want to incorporate African textiles with modern designs and your channel is exactly what I was looking for. Subscribed!!!!

First vid I watched on this channel. Idk why, but I was smiling all through out the vid 'cause it's my first time to hear a male voice narrating about sewing and stuff. Not judging though, I just thought it's so cute~~

Thank you!
Thanks! Bouts to turn my husband's raggedy sweatshirts into 'bomber' ones. The quotes was a nod to the early 90s slang my old ass grew up with.
Jennifer Sandoval You're welcome!
I purchased a 80+ page book from a woman on fashion incubator on how to make jackets -- specifically bomber jackets. I've yet to read it and probably never will. As such, I can give it away as long as I don't use it. Would you like it? I purchased it off her etsy shop. It's in pdf format, so I can email it if you wish 😊
I will say this, however: I think, and if anyone is reading this, a great option would be to use your rotary cutter to remove the ribbing on the neck. Then, proceed with as you've instructed on the neckline. Also, if you cannot find a zipper to match the length, GO LONGER!!!! You can adjust the zipper length as follows:
1) sew in the zipper as you'd normally do.
2) when you get to the top, snip off the extra a tooth or two below the neckline.
3) using a hand sewing needle and heavy duty thread, sew a bunch of loops over the top tooth on either side of your separating zipper.
4) while sewing the zip on the rest of the way, sort of taper your zip into the neck ribbing, as well as push the neck ribbing into your top 1-3 teeth. This will effectively smoosh the zipper and ribbing into each other; thus, covering any loose teeth that may rub up against your skin. Heck, I do that nifty truck to damn near all my zippers!
Your videos are the best DIY videos on youtube.. especially because uve got this amazing style i like. By the way can you PLEASE make a diy tutorial about hot to turn a hoodie into a crewneck! I'd really appreciate that! That'd be awesome because i have so many hoodies and no sweaters! :)
Fouad Hamdoun Thanks! I appreciate the love. I definitely could do a tutorial like that. It's pretty simple.

WOW, just WOW! Bro you're a legend, just imagining how your friends called you a bitch when you learned how to use a sewing machine, look at you now. A legend! BRAVO!!!
Orges Dervishi Surprisingly, all my friends thought my hobby of sewing was dope. They all wanted me to make them stuff. LOL
Hahahaha, glad to hear that. Your friends are lucky! Btw I'm using a zipper from some old clothes I guess :D.
this is so freakin cool
amazing
This is asesome!
can i use buttons instead of zippers?
Hi i really enjoy your videos i made three joggers two for my son and one for my boyfriend. Thank you so much.
You're very welcome 😁
that bomber jacket tho!.... Do you think i can do this same thing with a tee shirt? Or do you recommend i stick with a sweater? Also, how long from start to finish did this take you? Thanks for the info keep it up!!!
Dj Epic Thanks! You can do this with a tee as well. But I highly recommend using a sweater over a t-shirt. 1-2 hours at the least.
tried something similar out one time and i had the problem that my fabric was not falling straight anymore when i closed the jacket. the fabric started to make some kind of waves next to the zipper... got an idea how to avoid that?
+jailwhy the collar might of been cut too wide
good enjoyed it
