- This video shows the progress that has been made on the Mbudzi Interchange project in Harare, Zimbabwe. The interchange is a major road junction that is being upgraded to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion. The video shows the construction of the new bridges and flyovers, as well as the progress that has been made on the ground works.
The Mbudzi Interchange is a multi-million dollar project that is being funded by the government of Zimbabwe. The project is expected to be completed in 2023. Once completed, the interchange will be a major improvement to the road network in Harare and will help to reduce traffic congestion in the city.

This is a economic Project, they want to improve road infrastructure from Beit bright border post to Chirundu, the goal is enable trucks pass through Zimbabwe and enable ZIMRA, ZINARA through Tollgates collect revenue for government money used for government expenses such as civil servants salaries, development that is why government decide to start with border post, then ease congestion at mbudzi, after this i am sure they will look at other cities like Bulawayo

The engineer is very myopic to think and say that it's not necessary to dualise the whole stretch from Harare to Beitbridge. We will need to even increase the lanes to 3 or 4 in each way because real massive development and industrialisation will definitely increase the traffic flow significantly. It not enough to do a project by efficiency is equally important because if we have anything to learn from China it's how they carry out development projects in their own country in terms of time and quality
Good road upgrade project. Can we also have Bulawayo Beitbridge Road rehabilitation. This Road has collapsed in most sections . This road has long passed its design life.

Do it for the people of Zimbabwe, they have been waiting for action since 1980.
1980 roads were beautiful with no portholes. We so things deteriorating when we gained independence. Stopped maintaining roads, buildings and water systems and electricity. Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 was beautiful but was destroyed and run down at our watch. Why don’t these engineers just dualise all the roads considering the accidents in Zimbabwe.
What's glaring missing are by-passes and or fly-overs are these projects proceed, structures which are the norm in SA making for safer and smooth flowing of traffic. Honestly surprised that ZBC completely missed raising these matters in this video 😢😢

Not everything has to be done by Chinese. Our people need to gain more experience for future projects

You can't dualise the whole stretch just for the fun of it. Where it's not dualised the road still have shoulder lane and dualising hill approaches which still facilitate overtaking.South Africa follows same model and it works.

There is nothing there. You are just showing videos of other roads and pictures of graders and wheels and workers but avoiding showing clear aerial shots that show what is being built at Mbudzi.
