Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and we are now in the process of growing our family through #adoption. We have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

You two are natural parents and I'm so happy God and Elijah's birth family chose such a wonderful couple as you to raise him
Peter and Mary I’ve watched for a while, you were still Pastoring and Mary had yet to take Trikafta.. So many bad days for Mary health wise and when she took the first dose I believe on August 2nd I wondered how life would change if it worked. I never imagined this journey for y’all, but you’re here and it’s beautiful. My eyes are filled with tears and my heart could burst because I’m genuinely so happy for all of you! I’m thankful for Gods goodness and His blessings..
I couldn't imagine it would work this well and that they would now have a baby, it's like a miracle and makes me so happy for them because they are just made to be parents (I thought that before they where able to and thought it was real sad, of course didn't say anything to not cause any more grief if that was a dream they had or if they maybe didn't even want to as it's totally fine to not have children).
Gosh you both are just glowing and I've never seen you guys smile so much and be so affectionate towards each other. This little guy is just such a blessing for you both!!! I watch your videos now as parents with tears in my eyes. It's so beautiful! God is so good 😊
Is peter no longer a pastor for work?

Thank you for choosing life. I know this had to be such an agonizing as well as the hardest decision of your life. You have given such a magical gift to the world, especially Peter and Mary. You could not have chosen a more deserving and loving couple to raise him. You helped create a true miracle and I and many others can’t thank you enough for making such a selfless miracle. ❤️

I keep thinking that when you first moved in to your home it was basically in an effort to save Mary's life. Now look at what God has done! He has given you both Mary's health & has added a wonderful child to your family! Reminds me of Job...

I remember shedding tears with you on your Q and A's as you discussed how you had come to the conclusion that you would not be able to become parents. It is such a joy to see you as parents with your beautiful little one now. Evidence that miracles really do happen and to expect the unexpected in life.
Can you give us an update on how you’re feeling Mary? How you’re balancing being a new mama on top of having CF?
Elijahs already growing. His hair and his little fingers and that perfectly formed head...is so sweet. How he snuggles and how this journey led to this moments...its just dreamy.
From the dollar store video to now, what a miracle! Walking your baby and no "pop rocks" while Ollie gets to chill. This is the best one yet!!! ❤❤❤

There's nothing that makes me happier than Mary pushing a stroller. How different things are now than a few years ago. Having a baby and walking for several minutes without coughing or being short of breath. Wow

Every single update gives me goosebumps! You dear Elijah are so loved by so so so many people from all around the world. Some you'll meet face to face one day and others who will just be on the other side of that little camera lens.

Been a part of the Frey family since before you even went to Scotland! I also had the great pleasure to meet you both and Oliver, I had my granddaughter with me a little vacation and took a little detour. Now I'm so so so happy for you that you have your baby you're going to experience all the loveliness of Parenthood. And you both are showing so much joy and there's sense of Peace around you. Can't wait for the day when you'll be able to show us Elijah's beautiful face from the back he looks like an absolutely beautiful little baby boy! You know, Peter, and Mary I am so happy for you two. I have an 18 year old and have been married to my husband almost 19 years. I cannot tell you how many ups and downs we have had but I would have NEVER asked for a better partner in life. You two remind me of us so much. I am so excited to watch you three (now) and your journey though life with a kiddo. If I could offer some advice to you. Enjoy every moment, take pictures, laugh, love and make sure that you remember time goes by fast. Take each moment slow and enjoy it. You are so blessed, and I am excited to watch your videos. Peter & Mary I am so happy for you both. I am a mom of three girls two of my daughters have CF. They are 20 & 17 and they started taking Trikafta two years ago. I see such a difference in how they bounce back when they get a cold. I remember when you started the medication. You both are amazing parents and your son is the Luckiest little guy to have you as parents.💙🤗😘
