I need to upgrade to the max. But have the AC200P and 4 of the pv200 panels. But recently picked up a b230 panel and a AC180. Also the enhanced charger has been really handy also. An 2 25’ mc4 extension cables. Them have been game changers being able to have the power station wherever and am able to move the panels around wherever easily. Did the 4 panels because the kinda luck I usually have of clouds etc. figured I needed to get all I could out of times like that.
You do have to follow the sun for max effect. Yes. BUT.... If you cool the panels down with water while you are changing (like a shower head spray) it will bring in MORE power quicker. Solar paddles work better when cooled down!
For real ? I just left mine out in the rain n was worries I ruined them ! I have the AC 180 and 2 200 w panels and hooked them up parallel came back out and it was raining !
Great video because I have the AC70 and I’m looking at getting me a eb3a for small devices and I was thinking about the Bluetti PV200 and the 120 to charge them. There is cheaper ones out there but I am the type of person if I buy a brand of one thing and I need a product to go with it I will buy the same brand. I’ve never heard anything bad about Bluetti and so I will get the PV200 x 2 or the PV200 and a PV120. But I also am thinking of getting a bigger power station cause I plan on living in my camper part of the time and my tent part of the time. I may get the bigger one because I can power my camper off of it with the 30amp hookup
We love all of our Bluetti products and the portable solar panels are awesome since we can move them to follow the sun, unlike our roof panels. Can't go wrong with a bigger power station as well!
Hey guys...so you think the Bluetti setup is the best portable? I'm looking to get one very soon and would like your opinion. BTW...the Wraith looks great after that bikini wash! Thanks!
So far, best we've had! We have been very happy with all their products and on our westward trip we brought all the Bluetti power stations and solar panels with us so that's gotta tell ya something haha
Mike: "... you can't screw it up they only go one way". Have you heard about the new and improved model of the idiot, they've given them mototools, they can screw up anything now. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Hey Mr. Mike 👋🏽... What's the best way to power...solar power that comes with the RV or separate portable panels or a combination. I heard solar power add-ons were expensive especially if you need a lot of power. I remember seeing a rig with portable panels attached to sides and back of the RV(not on top). What's your opinion ❓ Appreciate you guys sharing this info.❤
I've never seen an RV come from the factory with good solar installed. Once you know how much solar you'd need buy some good roof panels and a victron controller. I've learned that it's good to have a lot of panels on the roof AND a few portable panels on the ground that you can move around. Solar itself really isn't all that expensive, it's the labor if you can't do it yourself that becomes expensive. Overall though I would put a bulk of the panels on the roof then have a couple hundred watts on the ground.
Do you still recommend Bluetooth? I am interested in purchasing a Bluetooth AC180 with the 200w solar kit. Would like your honest opinion. Thank you in advance. Just subscribed as well.
Ok so I have another question. My Bluetti 200 watt solar panel just came in. A bit disappointed at the length of the cord. I contacted Bluetti and I was told they do not sell extension cables for it. Can you recommend one please? I need at least a 15’ extension. Thank you again for your time me.
You are correct. I mis spoke. I was talking about how it doesn't have a massive battery in it and what I meant to say was it doesn't have a massive inverter either (600 watts)
Why would anybody just use propane to cook or wood fire ? And save blueetti for things that you haven't any option for ...like showering and lights , maybe .
You can choose what you want to use it for👍🏻 that's the power of choice! It was sunny so we recharged everything easily and quickly including the RV lithium batteries.
It's a great for a demo to use something that's nice and tangible. So like, hot stove, loud speakers. Something to kind of show off the function of the battery rather than a wall of wattage calculations and close ups of the displays. I have a similar question to the op's though "Why are you calling RVing camping 😂?"
We are not setup to use solar to run our AC. We didn't want that. However, we do have an on board generator that we can run our AC for as long as we want but we just don't want to run it and disturb nature. It gets cool at night so we don't need the AC then lucky
Bought mine after you did your first test of Bluetti. I bought the 200p and 3 panels. Always ready!
Awesome! We are very happy with this setup
I've found the MC4 extension cables to be game changers with these. Highly recommend. Great vid!!
Thank you- We agree, these cables have been great,
My compliment on your choice of music in your videos! The Bluetties are very impressive.
Thank you! We often get compliments and criticism for the music haha
Thanks for a great video, I'm going to buy my first 200Max tomorrow in Valencia 🙂Nice t-shirt also, Carhartt is my favorite brand.
Thanks for the feedback! The power stations and solar panels have worked great for us!
Super informative review!! Time to save up!! Stay safe out there! Love you two!
Thank you!! They're pricey but man are they worth it

Sounds like a great setup
You can charge the others from the ac200 using cigarette adapter all at the same time with the two panels connected to ac200.
Yep, we could

We have been very happy with ours!
Great video! Already have a bluetti . Curious what controller you guys used and setup for charging the rv? Thanks!
We use a victron controller to connect the Bluetti panels to the motorhome batteries
Does bluetti foldable solar panel work if only half open inside car dashboard?
It'll work but at a severely reduced output.
Do you know how many watt in full sun and cloudy. Inside car windshield
Ive been eyeing to buy 2 PV200 connect them in series. which wire do i need? for 2 pv200 10 awg or 12 awg
I would go with 10 to reduce any potential voltage loss
@@WanderingWagners but will it still works with 12 awg?
Yes

Can the bluetti eb3a Take 2 100w panels?
It is capable of 200 watts and 12-28 VOC
Very good... ISH...🤣
AWSOME as usual... Thanks guys 👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I'm sure someone could screw it up but Bluetti did their best to make it idiot proof lol
I USE A CONTRACTOR GENNY WORKS GREAT WHEN I STAY CRACKER BARREL WITHOUT ALL THE GIZMOS AND DODADS
Those are FAR too loud to be used at a cracker barrel or campground.
@@WanderingWagners NOPE CANT EVEN HEAR IT WHEN THE AIR IS ON AND WINDOWS ARE SHUT
I assure you, everyone around you can hear it and it's probably annoying, especially in nature.

Yep only cares about himself and no one else.

Yeah we absolutely recommend and we still use several of their power stations and their portable solar panel all the time without issues or complaints
lol. Just noticed it says Bluetooth instead of Bluetti. Damn iPhone. Thank you for your honest opinion. I am getting one. 😊👍🏼
@trevino73 haha yeah we knew what you meant and figured it was a phone autocorrect😊

This is what we use. You can select lengths from 10 feet up to 50 amzn.to/3W7aeSH
Wer i can buy sir?
Here's an Amazon link to the panels: amzn.to/3PjWAHT
When did you get your Amateur license ?? Off topic but had to ask.

2:06 EB3A "it doesn't have an inverter built in"? 2:09 It has AC output... it has an inverter.
You are correct. I mis spoke. I was talking about how it doesn't have a massive battery in it and what I meant to say was it doesn't have a massive inverter either (600 watts)

Didn’t you go over the max volts from the two solar panels for the EB3A?
We only connected one panel.

They make a 350 not 400 watts panel
They used to make both and did at the time this was filmed
ОК!!!!!!!!++++++++++++👍👍👍👍👍👍
