Boy that looks perfect for my wife and i! Hey i saw your Marshal amp bluetooth speaker, i have the same one! I love it. Great review, love you two! "Thats what she said" LOL!!
We are really enjoying this power station! The Marshall speaker has been going strong for several years... We've almost upgraded to their bigger one a few times now haha Thanks for the comment, Edward😁👏🏻
Hey guys...really enjoyed this video. I'm an older 2015 TIffin Allegro Class A owner, with only two 6V FLA batts and a 1000w inverter and no solar. I'm adding solar before this season, and two more 6V FLA batts to double my ah and a 200w bifacial monocryst panel and Renogy MPPT charge controller. However, I'm adding this to older tech. You've demonstrated a way to add latest tech to an older system in clean, portable, no hassle way. I've grabbed a 600w Bluetti Power Station to experiment with, and am now thinking, its big brother you've used might be the way to eventually go. Awesome, keep it up! PS...73, de K0IVY
Thank you! It's a great power station that can do quite a bit. We are happy with it! It can run your AC if you have a soft start/easy start installed on the AC as well. We've added some solar to our RV since this was filmed as well in another video👍🏻
I love your real world approach to reviewing this station. This is the model that I want for my little 21ft Winnie. But, the cost is too prohibitive for me right now. But, when that sucker's price comes down a good distance, I'm on it!
That’s pretty sweet, I wonder how long it would run my residential refrigerator in my Seneca ? I am not big on boon docking but if it would last over night or if it would keep my batteries charged over night it might be nice. I know I could just run the generator but sometimes you can’t.
One, I just recently purchased this and solar panels because I boondock while at work for about four days a week. I have a solar system to run the RV but not the AC and outlets. I like that the MC4 cables are so long so that I can seriel the solar panels and still have enough cable to plug into the generator without having to go find extension cables. Very nice. I'm disappointed to hear that it didn't run the AC units though. However, I have a smaller trailer and hope that my smaller AC unit will run on this system since that's the primary reason I bought it (microwave meals just aren't as healthy as I should be eating anyway). I wonder, though, would the extra battery have helped provide enough power to start your AC? This was a great review and was very happy to stumble across it.
If you have a soft start installed this power station will run the AC, probably not very long but it'll do it! We showed that here: Bluetti AC Test W/ MicroAir Easy Start (Will It Do It?) th-cam.com/users/shortsGrOM3R8Cui8?feature=share
@@WanderingWagners Thank you, I did see that video. I don't know if I have a soft start or not. I know that I have a smaller trailer than yours, with a smaller unit, so hoping that helps. I also want to research more while waiting for the unit to arrive.
Just ordered this yesterday because it was on sale - and i need it for off grid e-mountain bike charging (along with an Off Grid TREK 220 watt solar blanket.)
I tried this exact BLUETTI system on my rv and it ran a 13.5k btu ac (with a soft start) for 1 hour and it went from 100% to 51%. And the ac compressor never turned off.
Looking for an opinion, thoughts, etc. I have a 30amp TT, that I go out in for weekends, no more than 3 days at a time. I have a Bluetti AC200l, trying to decide if I should get an expandable Bluetti battery (300s) or 420w solar suitcase to stay charged up? The reason for the expansion is IF I need to use the A/C in the hot summers.
I have had the previous generation (AC200P) for almost two years now. I like the Bluetooth and App capability of the max and wish mine had that. We have used it on several camping trips. It runs everything in our Class C including the AC unit, but that isn’t practical with only the 360 watts of solar panels I have. I have not found a good way to integrate it with our Class C so it remains a portable unit that is not easy to move around thanks to the 62 lb weight. I am a bit of a sogen nut myself as I have five units. The aC200p being the largest. The solar panels are great as they are portable (fixed panels on the RV roof are great until you setup under a tree) and you can set them up anywhere. The problem that creates then is that I find myself constantly moving them around to maximize. In other words I babysit them all day which is not fun. Next trip if we have full sun I plan to just lay them on the roof out of the way and leave them there during the entire trip. May not maximize the sun but I will recover a lot of time spent fussing with the panels. Have fun with your new solar generator and I will be curious to see if you integrate it more permanently in your RV. Take care guys and thanks as always for your videos! We have Mohican, Alum Creek, and Hocking Hills coming up next week. 🙂
Having fixed and portable panels might be the best of both worlds. If we do get solar, I don't think we'd get a huge system. These power stations really give us a lot of flexibility!
I have tried charging my 200p with my ebike battery 36v/15Ah in pv settings and it works fine, it draws 12A from the battery, but if you monitor the voltage carefully so that the battery does not fall below 35v, charging must stop. I've tried with 12v and 24v also in car settings and it works really well, that's my faorit, I can then charge my ebike battery with bluetti when the sun is there again. Buy a wifi/blurtooth power meter and measure what you use.
I have the 200max with 2 b230 batteries giving me approx 6kw of stored power. I also have 1200 watts of solar panels to charge at max solar input in case the grid goes down. I bought the setup because we're rural on well and septic and have 2 fridges and a freezer. This easily runs the well pump at approx 750 watts and would easily handle the fridges and freezer and led lights in the house. I tried ac in our live-in horse trailer it's 13,500 but and it started it and ran at about 1200 watts, 1650 with the fridge on ac. Once I turned ac off and tried to restart after waiting 5 minutes it wouldn't handle the load, yes the fridge was off, so a soft start would be needed. I kinda wish I would of gotten the AC300 with 2 batteries or now even the newer AC500, where does it end, LOL. All in all the 200max will do what I need but with little head room for extra stuff.
Hows it going bro?! Quick question? Im converting a enclosed cargo trailer into a camper and I want to get the Bluetti AC200 Max. What solar panel do you recommend me getting because Im only going to be running 12v lights, a roof fan, water pump for a shower and a 12v refrigerator
If you want to mount panels to the roof we've had great luck with Rich solar 200 watt panels. If you want portable panels the Bluetti 350's have done an excellent job but cost a lot more.
I order it from 3rd party it took over a month and for some reason it went back to CA. So when I was in Arizona I made a trip to there office in Los Vegas and pick it up. I love my Bluetti 200 max I purchased it because the 30 amp I will buy the the solar next love your Chanel. EDWARD
Is its internal Lithium battery a 200amp ? With its own inverter at what wattage ? And does it have it's own internal MPPT ? Also, when it's fully charged the MPPT shuts off, right ? So no overcharging protection ? Can you charge this thing in cold weather blow 32f ? Can you operate the thing while it's solar charging ? BTW, Mango runs rv AC compressors.
It's Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4). Rated at 2048 watt-hours and 51.2 volt nominal. 2048 watt-hours divided by 51.2 volt = 40 amp-hour. Yes, it has it's own pure sine wave inverter rated at 2200 watt output continuous/4800 watt surge. Yes, it has it's own internal solar MPPT. Yes it has overcharge and undercharge protection. Being LiFePO4, if the battery cells are below 32 F then it shouldn't charge. Most good BMS for LiFePO4 has temperature sensing for that very purpose. Yes as long as there's some charge in the battery cells, you can operate while it's solar charging.
I just bought this one. I heard not to take it down under 20% though because it might damage it? So I won't let it go under that power level. I am excited for it to arrive. Wondering if you had the extension battery if that would have made a difference with the AC start up? Or was the inverter just not enough?
This will start and run your RV AC IF you have an easy start on your AC. We did a short that shows this on a friend's RV that has the easy start installed. Granted it won't run it long but it will run it!
Thanks for this video. We just bought an ac200max for the same purpose but I'm trying to decide about Bluetti portable panels or rigid roof mounted panels?? What's your take? Also, planning to buy 2 Lectric 3.0 long range bikes and was happy to see you charge the bike in the video. Was that a long range battery? Were you charging 1 at 258 watts or was that 2, couldn't tell from the video? Do you know how long it takes to charge 2 and what percentage of the bluetti battery was left?
The lectric bikes in the video are the xpremium model so they have 2 batteries per bike. I don't recall the amount the bike batteries were at when we started to charge. Plus we had the solar hooked up same time they were charging so some power was coming in from the solar. After charging both bikes we had 96% left on the Bluetti. We have roof mounted panels but do travel with this portable one so it can be moved to be more in the sunlight. Both have pros and cons
Yes it would have. We did make a TH-cam short video using this power station to start an AC that has a soft start installed and it did it no problem. th-cam.com/users/shortsGrOM3R8Cui8?si=dqZ9sxmRFiiFucUs
We don't, we mentioned that at the end of the video. It's something we've had on past RVs butt haven't put on this one yet. I'm pretty sure it would have started it, had we had them on our AC's!👍🏻
@@WanderingWagners Yes they do eat a lot of power, just wanted you to know if you have enough, it's possible. Generators are still your best bet short term for large loads.
Think this or the EcoFlow DELTA Pro would be better? Its $4000 for the delta but its 3600w and comes with 2x400w solar panels. Id want it as an emergency backup for my 40 foot keystone hideout that will be stationary and connected to shore power and septic and water. But for just in case during einter and summer if the power goes out.
I don't have any first-hand experience with Delta but they have a very good reputation from what I can tell. It really comes down to how much power you need and how long you'll need to run on battery power. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either brand.
We were able to have it successfully run our friends air conditioner because he installed an easy start made by microair. The expansion battery would just allow it to run longer.
What up Doe!? Great video Guys, thanks for the info. I have two of the Bluetti solar generators, great products/company. Do you guys have a soft start on the RV AC unit? I really think it could run it for about 30mins to a hour? A little longer with the extra battery
We love the video but would like to see the system make coffee like you did in the first video. Also let us know what is the watt ratting of the coffee pot.
Oh it'll def. Make coffee! Our coffee pot is around 800 Watts if I remember correctly. All 3 power stations we have shown can make coffee. This Bluetti is the biggest and most powerful of the 3.
Buyer beware with Bluetti products. They look good the price is good the tech specs are good but if you have any issues with them it is nearly impossible to get technical support or to return the unit. I have been trying for over a month now with little to no response. You better hope it works out of the box or you are in for some major headaches.
Wouldn't run your Air conditioners? (plural) Did you try a single Air conditioner? Many of us have 30 amp RVs with only 1 Air conditioner. Just Curious if it could handle that.
We did try and no it didn't because we don't have the Easy start installed on this RV. If we did, yes it would run it! We tested it out (shown on a short video) and it ran it no problem.
Strange that the solar is charging with 1 Bluetti 200W panel. I just received my AC200MAX and I was not getting any charge from one 200W panel. Bluetti told me the voltage is too low with one panel. Need a minimum of 2 solar panels. I had initially ordered 2 solar panels but was only sent one. Waiting for the second one to see if it will charge with solar.
@@WanderingWagners Did not measure since Bluetti told me my issue was it won’t charge with only one panel and that it needs 2 minimum. What voltage do you measure? The specs on the panel says open circuit voltage 26v and voltage at maximum power 20.5V
I don't remember exactly but it was over 20 volts. When you get the new panel I'd be curious to know if you can charge just off of that new panel alone. We now have 2 Bluetti panels and use them to charge our motorhome batteries.
@@WanderingWagners Yes I’m curious also. I looked at the AC200MAX spec and it states 10V to 145V so it technically should charge with one panel. Getting bad information from Bluetti support maybe. Hopefully will get the second solar panel soon.
@@WanderingWagners Hi, received the second 200W solar panel. I first tried the new panel alone and the AC200MAX was charging at around 60W. Next I tried the first solar panel it was now charging but only around 54W. When I wired the both in series it’s charging at around 140W. This charging is far less than than the combined potential of 400W. We live in Peoria AZ where there’s full sun and no clouds. What should I expect? Thanks
Hi guys. I found your video super useful and am just about to bite the bullet and buy this system myself. My biggest concern though, is how do you guys secure the actual generator from theft while you’re plugged in and using it. I have a 18 foot Keystone Springdale and the charging port is on the backside. I intend on doing quite a bit of boondocking but I’m worried about how to secure this while I’m using it so I don’t have to keep a constant eye on it. Do you secure yours and if so, how? I’m a single 60 YO woman so lifting it up and down over and over doesn’t really appeal to me. What are your thoughts on this. Replacing one after I’ve already spent so much on one would make it almost cost prohibitive to buy another for a very long time. Thanks in advance. 😊
We don't typically secure them because when they're in use when Boondocking or dry camping, there's usually no one else around. You could chain or lock rope it to your RV. Keep an eye on weather because this model isn't water resistant or dust proof. The AC240 Is water resistant though.
Yeah you'd have to have someone put it somewhere and it stays. I wonder if the Oukitel one we did before this would work for you. I can't remember what power capacity you needed
Our RV has a 11,500 watt AC and the Bluetti Max runs it with no problem . You could try the soft start kit that is available . Even then, you won't get much run time out of it, I figure I might get 2hrs. on my smaller AC, at the most. BUT, it is a great emergency power source. I use it in the house tied directly to my Panel .
We actually mentioned that in the video originally but didn't want to say people could without being able to prove it, so I cut it. We figured you'd only be able to run it for an hour or so but it is something!
I ran the AC in my apartment for 7:45 before the unit was at three percent. I also have 2 B230 extension batteries so with those this system lasted almost 8 hours running my apartment AC which pulled 800 W of power.
I was just as giddy about my new Bluetti 2 1/2 years ago. Now it’s several months out of warranty and will no longer charge. Bluetti offers NO WAY to have it repaired once it’s out of warranty. Now I have a $1,300 boat anchor. I’m actually glad this happened now because I was about to purchase a much larger and more expensive Bluetti. Think twice about spending thousands on any of these power stations. They are all same. If the thing dies after warranty you’re screwed.
That's usually the way things go. Anything that is just outside of warranty is more likely to stop working. Sorry to hear that! Look into Anker, we have one of those and really like it! There's a recently video we did on that one too. But follows ups are coming
Maybe you can disassemble and repair it yourself(?) If not, maybe you can salvage and sell at least some of the parts(?) Unless something is permanently wrong with the batteries inside, they have to worth something!
I would be interested if you had it plugged straight into RV and it ran dry and house batteries went low if the AGS would start the generator to recharge them.
It will run 2 cpap machines, humidifier with heated hoses for 2 nights no problem, however it takes 4 plus hours to charge it up using the 120 volt power adapter.
Good to know. I just bought the AC200P without the 30AMP plug and I was kicking myself. I suppose that is simple math. 2000w generator at 110v = 18amps.
I wish I could afford one of those little power banks I’m not gonna start a little one but when I could power an LED TV modem and Apple TV that’s it but that’s just not gonna happen ever

thank you for this great informative video on power...and yes Lynn is is a massive unit.. or so she says Mike...you guys take care and please continue to give out such great content... take care stay safe...
Stay tuned for next video on Monday evening😁🎉
Boy that looks perfect for my wife and i! Hey i saw your Marshal amp bluetooth speaker, i have the same one! I love it. Great review, love you two! "Thats what she said" LOL!!
We are really enjoying this power station!
The Marshall speaker has been going strong for several years... We've almost upgraded to their bigger one a few times now haha
Thanks for the comment, Edward😁👏🏻
Just got one, putting it to the test. Can’t wait to see what you think about it.
We think it's a great power station! Hopefully you like it too👍🏻😊
Hey guys...really enjoyed this video.
Thanks for your demo’s . Learning from you two 😁
Glad to help!
Great video. Like the demonstrations but I’ll probably be an EcoFlow guy for life just like my Ram truck. Thank you for showing. Always appreciated!!
Ecoflow are good units, we almost got one of those too😂
Thanks for the info
Thanks for watching!
Why can't you use the dryer, using the 30A connection ? Great video's !
Not enough juice to dry a full load
There's a good chance the dryer requires 240 VAC and the Bluetti can not provide that.
I love your real world approach to reviewing this station. This is the model that I want for my little 21ft Winnie. But, the cost is too prohibitive for me right now. But, when that sucker's price comes down a good distance, I'm on it!
Thank you! We try to beat"real" as possible when doing our reviews.
They are pricey but we've seen some decent discounts so keep an eye out😊
How much it?

@@WanderingWagners thanks.
When you plugged the Bluetti into our RV was that 560 watt draw including your RV house batteries being charged?
Probably. We didn't turn off the charger or converter.
That’s pretty sweet, I wonder how long it would run my residential refrigerator in my Seneca ? I am not big on boon docking but if it would last over night or if it would keep my batteries charged over night it might be nice. I know I could just run the generator but sometimes you can’t.
You'd have to look to see how much power your fridge uses and calculate how long this would run it etc
Have you tried just normal day of running the whole trailer from the Bluetti?
No we haven't done that but we've ran it for several hours at a time. We have solar and big batteries on board the RV now
One, I just recently purchased this and solar panels because I boondock while at work for about four days a week.
We showed that here: Bluetti AC Test W/ MicroAir Easy Start (Will It Do It?)
th-cam.com/users/shortsGrOM3R8Cui8?feature=share
@@WanderingWagners Thank you, I did see that video. I don't know if I have a soft start or not. I know that I have a smaller trailer than yours, with a smaller unit, so hoping that helps. I also want to research more while waiting for the unit to arrive.
Just ordered this yesterday because it was on sale - and i need it for off grid e-mountain bike charging (along with an Off Grid TREK 220 watt solar blanket.)
Hopefully it works out great for you!
I tried this exact BLUETTI system on my rv and it ran a 13.5k btu ac (with a soft start) for 1 hour and it went from 100% to 51%. And the ac compressor never turned off.
Yeah we were pretty sure it would run it with an easy start installed but didn't want to say so without being able to prove it haha
0:30 is an iconic scene!
Yes it is!
We love the solar panels to recharge the power stations and our RV. We have 2 of the portable Bluetti 200 watt panels and they get a lot of use
I basically only want it for tailgating but powering house freezer would be nice as well
It'll do both but you'll need to see the wattage of the items to calculate how long it'll last at those ratings
Nice setup! And you're right... Where does it end? Lol every year they come out with bigger and better stuff that's for sure😁
What is the min of watts to charge the ac max by solar energy
This powered your well pump?
@@thomascrompton7775 Yep
@Justlife in you electric box what size breaker is it. Is it a double 30?
Hows it going bro?! Quick question? Im converting a enclosed cargo trailer into a camper and I want to get the Bluetti AC200 Max. What solar panel do you recommend me getting because Im only going to be running 12v lights, a roof fan, water pump for a shower and a 12v refrigerator
If you want to mount panels to the roof we've had great luck with Rich solar 200 watt panels. If you want portable panels the Bluetti 350's have done an excellent job but cost a lot more.
Is this a backup to your generator or a replacement.? How are you planning to use it.?
Definitely not a replacement, but we'd use it as a backup. Away from the rig or inside etc. Just nice to have backups
Can you use a softstart plug and play instead of the wired installed one?
Possibly but we haven't tried that. Ez start wired into the AC and this will start and run the AC for a short time
I order it from 3rd party it took over a month and for some reason it went back to CA. So when I was in Arizona I made a trip to there office in Los Vegas and pick it up. I love my Bluetti 200 max I purchased it because the 30 amp I will buy the the solar next love your Chanel. EDWARD
Wow! We've had some crazy stuff happen with shipping as well. Glad you finally got it and love it! The solar is a pretty great addition to it
Is its internal Lithium battery a 200amp ? With its own inverter at what wattage ? And does it have it's own internal MPPT ? Also, when it's fully charged the MPPT shuts off, right ? So no overcharging protection ? Can you charge this thing in cold weather blow 32f ? Can you operate the thing while it's solar charging ? BTW, Mango runs rv AC compressors.
Great questions for Bluetti! It can be used while it's charging as shown in the video👍🏻
Cool 😎 nice that’s for the rv motorhome s

It will definitely run your AC, with soft starts. Makes your system last longer too.
We tested that theory on a friends RV and it did run the AC! Probably only for about an hour max but still
@@WanderingWagners Yes they do eat a lot of power, just wanted you to know if you have enough, it's possible.
Would an expansion battery then be able to have it run the ac?
We were able to have it successfully run our friends air conditioner because he installed an easy start made by microair. The expansion battery would just allow it to run longer.
It will run it with the soft starts….I have it on my a/c and the Bluetti runs the a/c without issue.
Yeah we are pretty sure it would but don't want to say it will without showing proof haha
What up Doe!?
Great video Guys, thanks for the info. I have two of the Bluetti solar generators, great products/company.
Do you guys have a soft start on the RV AC unit? I really think it could run it for about 30mins to a hour? A little longer with the extra battery
Looks like you found your answer😁
@@WanderingWagners Thanks again 👍🏼
We love the video but would like to see the system make coffee like you did in the first video. Also let us know what is the watt ratting of the coffee pot.
Oh it'll def. Make coffee! Our coffee pot is around 800 Watts if I remember correctly. All 3 power stations we have shown can make coffee. This Bluetti is the biggest and most powerful of the 3.
Did you happen to test heater in RV?
The furnace or just running a space heater? It'll run a space heater just fine
How has this power station been working for you guys???
It's been great so far!
That’s the exact one I’m going buy ,kinda waiting for the Black Friday deals.
There's a Amazon prime day sale currently! Not sure if black Friday will be better or not
Buyer beware with Bluetti products. They look good the price is good the tech specs are good but if you have any issues with them it is nearly impossible to get technical support or to return the unit. I have been trying for over a month now with little to no response. You better hope it works out of the box or you are in for some major headaches.
Oh no! Thanks for the info. Luckily we haven't had issues🤞🏻
I never had trouble with them they always been fast to respond with me. Thanks for the heads up tho

That's weird. Ours works great with one panel. Did you test the voltage coming out of your panel?
Thanks
How long would this run a 15” speaker at full volume
What is the power usage for the speaker?
The AC240 Is water resistant though.
if i was to rate the Bluetti on the Aesthetics alone Bluetti would get my vote.
It is pretty aesthetically pleasing!
Hey guys I’m also shopping for a solar unit, that’s one brand and also checking Delta eco flow ? Let you know what we choose 👍🍺👍
Those are supposed to be great as well. We almost got one of those haha
Thank you
What is the min of watts to charge the ac max by solar energy
It'll charge it with solar as long as solar is coming in. The more solar you have coming in, the faster it'll charge it up.
One thing I don't like about the AC200MAX is the big, bulky amd somewhat huge AC wall charger. They could have just made it thinner and smaller.
It is quite large and we aren't a fan of that either but oh well

Yes, you can use different brand panels!
Do you ave the thing extended
Not sure what you're asking. What thing?
Our RV has a 11,500 watt AC and the Bluetti Max runs it with no problem . You could try the soft start kit that is available . Even then, you won't get much run time out of it, I figure I might get 2hrs. on my smaller AC, at the most. BUT, it is a great emergency power source. I use it in the house tied directly to my Panel .
We actually mentioned that in the video originally but didn't want to say people could without being able to prove it, so I cut it. We figured you'd only be able to run it for an hour or so but it is something!
Dennis, Actually your AC is 11,500 BTU.
Can it be used to jump start a boat?
I'd just get a jump box instead
@@WanderingWagners I have one
I ran the AC in my apartment for 7:45 before the unit was at three percent. I also have 2 B230 extension batteries so with those this system lasted almost 8 hours running my apartment AC which pulled 800 W of power.
That's awesome!👏🏻👍🏻
You have to turn off your battery charger in RV or its just wasting power.
So, 2200 watts at 120 volts is 18.33 amperes. Running at 2200 watts continuous it will last less than an hour.
What is 2200 Watts?
@@WanderingWagners 2200w is the rated max continuous output of the Bluetti in your video.
@Kevin Coop, also means you can't get 30 amps other than at peak, but only for few seconds.
Is it water proof?
No, not water proof. Dust proof and water/splash resistant probably
The AC200Max would have been a great power station if it had the option to connect an extra battery.
You can add 2 additional Bluetti battery packs to this one. We mentioned it and showed it in the video 6:15 time stamp.
I just watched another video some connected extra batteries

We don't have AGS on our RV generator
Turn off ECO Mode if you need more than 4 hours at a time. Say using a CPAP over night
Good tip for those who use a CPAP!
It will run 2 cpap machines, humidifier with heated hoses for 2 nights no problem, however it takes 4 plus hours to charge it up using the 120 volt power adapter.
If someone sent me thousands worth of gear I’d give it a thumbs up 👍🏻
That's pretty sad to hear.
Note that while the RV receptacle may be labeled as 30 amp, it can only deliver up to about 20 amp (2200 watt/120vac = 18-1/3 amp) continuous.
