❤👏👏👏👏👏 Thank Lord you are ALIVE this brings me Joy I remembered you while I was at the bookstore and I checked and im Glad you are looking better. May you live a long healthy life and full of prosperity and may you have more Books to read and review Good day to you Sir
This was the first book I read watching Brian's reviews. My god this book is incredible! Then I read pillars of the earth and I was blown away again! Follett is one of the best authors of all time.
This is definitely on my TBR - I've read the "Winds of War" duology recently on your recommendation - it was excellent and got me interested to throw a WW2 book into the mix once in a while. BTW, the "a" in the german word "Nadel" (Needle) is pronounced more like in "barn". Anyway - great video (as always) - thanks for the recommendation 😊
Glad to see you up and about sir! And thanks for getting me into Ken Follett, your video on The Pillars of the earth gave me the courage to read it, and yeah the rest is history
Read this book in one sitting during a snow storm. Great story, great author!

Thank you Brian for your brilliant presentation. I loved the book when I read it in 1992. I admire his books and style. Have a great day
I happened to watch the movie a couple months ago, after reading the book 25+ years ago. I was surprised how much of the story I remembered.
Bought this a while ago, based on your recommendation. It’s just been staring at me, next to my bed, ever since. I’ll be reading this very soon now.
I read this a few weeks back. It was good. Didnt blow me away as much as Pillars but few things do.

Best Ken Follett book I've read so far. Gonna have to watch the movie. I had no idea it had an adaptation
