Gotta remember… every game Ohio state plays is usually the biggest game of the year for their opponents. They bring out every trick play and scheme to try and pull the upset. It’s hard to maintain a high level of excellence when you wear a bullseye every week. Good tough victory. Maryland brought it.

Rough day for the Top 4 teams. I’m glad the Buckeyes were able to pull through though! Dallan Hayden is incredible and should start next week if Miyan Williams isn’t better.
They should start Dallan Hayden next week and use Xavier Johnson aka X-Man as our secret weapon if Miyan Williams can't go.
Wasn't rough for Georgia we scored 16 points start with the battle of our opponent scored 6. Don't compare to Busters.

@@doogyjay1 what happens? Ohio State would outscore their opponents with their high octane offense. It's a common strategy for them to pace themselves and play to the level of their opponents until they either start falling behind, or until it's time to seal the game. Ohio State has shown time after time that they can easily score in the 4th quarter. They've truthfully never been in trouble with any of their opponents this year. It's also common for their defense to not try as hard when they aren't all that threatened. When you have around a 3 score lead, 3 and outs aren't as critical.
Wheels is the man ! There is a lot of time skill and dedication that goes into editing all of these different sports highlights and wheels has a lot of the big games ready to go minutes after the game ends. Great job man I know it's a lotttt of work for you.

I'm a Buckeye fan, but I stand with Forrest Whittaker on that one dpi call. It was bogus. Glad the Buckeyes survived this week, because Tagovailoa might be the best QB they face the rest of the year.

Maryland is in prime recruiting grounds and Locksley's in in his 14th season...if it hasn't happened by now, not sure that it ever will, the only thing that might change that is transfer portal and NIL, because thats a new wrinkle that only a couple years old
@@garywascovich8436 This is Locksley's 4th season and he's been a helluva recruiter every place he's gone, including the 2007 Illinois team that went to the Rose Bowl. There were several kids from the DMV he recruited to that team. However, the two things I see that seems to hold them back from taking that next step is player development and consistency with the fundamentals. You can have the slickest offense and a great defensive scheme, but if kids aren't being coached "properly" to consistently execute the fundamentals, techniques and football intelligence/discipline then you just have an amalgamation of good athletes and not a great team. I believe he's heading in the right direction though. Honestly, I think the Wisconsin and penn state games were abhorrations. The injuries on the O-line and with Taulia once fixed allowed us to stand toe to toe with both Michigan and Ohio state so the ability is there.
This was definitely not as bad as twitter was saying cause i was at work, just seems like teams at this time of the season bring everything they can
This was the last Big Ten game on ABC, ending 36 consecutive years of Big Ten football on the network. The last game on ESPN was Minnesota-Wisconsin a week later, ending 41 consecutive years of Big Ten football on that network. Earlier, Purdue-Illinois was the last Big Ten-controlled game on ESPN2 a week before this game, and the last Big Ten-controlled game on ESPNU was Virginia-Illinois on September 10, the last time a conference game from the Big Ten aired on ESPNU was Purdue-Indiana in 2016.

In every other sport a win is a win but for some reason in college football, fans and stupid commentators think that players still in development are supposed to play perfect games every week like it's a damned console.

Dangerous combination in this game. Buckeyes scored easily on that opening drive and thought it was gonna be a comfortable game but Maryland came to play. They seemed disinterested the whole first half, already thinking about Michigan and Maryland kept punching them in the mouth. The Terps are dangerous because they’re the only team maybe outside of Penn State where their perimeter players can match Ohio State’s speed which allowed their WR’s to make plays and their DB’s could hang with MHJr & EE. I’m hoping Michigan continues to struggle throwing the ball and that OSU can shut down the run. Should be legendary. Go Bucks.
He was laying on the ground like his brother when Miami played the Bengals. Hope he's OK, those undersized QB's scare me, especially when they have the talent just not the size to handle those hits.

He’s been dealing with an MCL sprain for a good while now. He’s a trooper, and now holds many Terp passing records. He looked like doodoo at Wiscy and PSU following his MCL sprain in weather games but he outplayed Stroud today. Was a great game. Good luck OSU vs Mich!

Maryland and Illinois are trash....what are you talking about? Both teams have struggled throwing the ball and running an offense the past three weeks at least. Ohio state didn't almost lose the game. They got a takeaway on that last possession. It's not like they moved down the field and were in the red zone against Ohio state. There were a lot of bad calls in both Michigan and Ohio state games.

Honestly Henderson is just bad. He never hits a wide open hole and always tries to run to the outside for no reason. He’s not a power runner. He runs scared. I’ve been saying since last year Williams should start. Hayden should start for our future
I think Ohio state was looking forward to the team up north coming to Columbus that's why they kept it so close. The basically to me the end of the game was the sack the other sack the fumble Ohio State takes it in for a touchdown and leaves out of state with a win. I can't believe it was this close but at least Ohio State won. I guess Ohio State can't dominate every team there's been a lot of games that were real close or closer than they should be the northwestern game was close Penn State and now this game
Maryland actually has the better WR group that Ohio State will face all year until the playoffs. TTUN's WR's are garbage which is why they throw to their TE's more often. They won't have a chance to throw like this against Ohio State next week. That and McCarthy is inaccurate even with open WR's.

I can see us beating Michigan but playoff wise.. Georgia is more physical than us.. Hayden should start and the other receivers got to step up more. Idk why Day isn't using Stover more in the pass game. Stroud will have to use his legs more. Defense is ok but you give up too many big plays. We face a good offense and they'll beat us. Gotta get more physical up front and defense needs to close gaps better or it'll be another loss in playoffs.

Everyone knows Henderson is not 100% and him being out there not able to run to his ability hurt the Buckeyes in the first half. If Hayden would have started, this game wouldn't have been as close as it seemed.
It did hurt the Buckeyes for sure. Not being able to make big plays with his legs or the same shiftiness he usually has is what kept the game in reach and gave them an even more insane level of confidence than they already had.
