Never noticed how stacked that offense was Fields, JK, Olave, Wilson, Hill, Victor, and mack all in the NFL at one point
defense too. this was easily the best osu team to not win a natty in the programs history in my opinion

The unforced turnover with 6:35 left in the 2nd quarter was the ball game. The Wolverines were driving to potentially tie the game and instead lost the ball at the Buckeye 15. THEN...Michigan forced a punt on 4th and 4 only to have a penalty give OSU a 1st down -- after which of course they scored a TD. So a potential 21-20 game turned into 28-13
@@fishbone3333 I was being a little facetious and tapping into the attitude us Buckeyes had about the rivalry, and UM's habit of finding ways to lose, at that point. I got a lot of thumb's ups. With the streak ending last year, thinking may be different moving forward. My comment was not meant to be dissected.

All these highlight channels are so bias, they show all the OSU wins but have only shown 1 michigan win over OSU in the last 17 years

This game truly showed the huge talent gap between Ohio State and Michigan. At first, Michigan actually looked like they had something in them, but it quickly faded. Untieing Dobbins shoe because he was running all over them. Triple teaming and holding Chase Young the entire game. They knew they wouldn’t win but getting absolutely destroyed years in a row by the same team has to mess with you. Knowing you played a part in dismantling the greatest football rivalry in history. Wow.

Ohio st. came in at #1, Michigan at 13 or whatever. Nobody seriously believed 2019 was Michigan's year. Nor will 2020 be Michigan's year. 2021 class i the highest rated in the country...but they will be freshmen. That's the year. 2021, at Michigan. If Michigan doesn't win in 2021, Ohio might streak their way to a tie in the overall series.

@@mceltix2009 It will be interesting to see. Michigan's biggest problem right now though is not the Buckeyes, it's that Blue and White team to the east. Penn State may pass them fully if they keep playing on the level they are or better. Harbaugh still has time, but it's only going to get harder. 2016 and 2018 were two of his best chances by a mile. Ohio State is literally recruiting at such a high level that Michigan may look like a medium tier team against them soon (if they don't already).

Team...next year osu will be fielding a stacked roster again; if Michigan blows it this year (at home) I don't see another Michigan win on the horizon. (Other than a complete fluke here or there) this is a do-or-die year for the entire football program...to decide whether Michigan becomes another Nebraska or Minnesota.

@Andy Gygi I don't think you guys have anything to worry about. Coach Day seems like he isn't missing a beat with recruiting. OSU is in the top echelon. Michigan won't be touching you for a long time. It would take everything going wrong for Michigan to win The Game. Also, if OSU is gunning for titles, beating Michigan is kind of just included in that. You give Michigan too much credit, as a Wolverine fan myself, I know that OSU is head and shoulders above them, and it's not even close anymore and certainly doesn't look like it'll change anytime soon either.

I feel bad for Harbaugh. He should return to the NFL where he can actually have a fair chance at competing. Michigan is never going to be a program that beats marquee schools like Ohio State. It's not fair to think he can get stars to come up to Michigan.

When Harbaugh first faced Ohio State in 2015. he lost by 29. Four years later, with his program in place and the QB he wanted, they lose by 29. It’s pretty clear he’ll never beat Ohio State. This matchup has become more lopsided than any other rivalry this decade. Yes, even Steelers vs Browns isn’t this lopsided.
To be fair to Harbaugh, Ohio State is playing much better now than few years ago. That really says something given that Ohio State was hella good few years ago too and has been for a long time. F Michigan though. I hope they keep losing.

I think first brown needs to go, and if that doesn't solve the problem, then we know it's Harbaugh. Either way, as a realistic michigan fan, I don't see either of them lasting long, not anymore. Last year it was the offense, so we hire a new coordinator. This year it's the defense, probably gonna go the same route and get a new defensive coordinator. If somehow michigan fucks that up, Harbaugh will be gone.

No doubt when you r players forget fundamental tackling and try to strip the ball every play while giving up big chunks of the field in the process, its a coaching problem.
Wisconsin has the same problem.
I'm not a Michigan fan or anything, but I think it's sort of a dumb rule that if the returner calls for a fair catch and muffs it, that the ball should be placed at that spot
Understand your perspective. However, the same rule applies to the receiving team...they TOO can NOT advance the ball on a muffed catch. The rule was created to protect the defenseless receiver against incredible hits from the punting team.
With that in mind...it's a fair rule applied equally both ways. Michigan obtained possession at the point of the 'fair catch'.
Michigan needs faster athletes. That was one of the biggest subtle differences in this game

Patterson and Coen tried to do it all by themselves and the coaches made no adjustments at halftime.

Why rip on Harbaugh and the UM coaches. Seemed like they had a good plan to me. Harbaugh didn’t miss that extra point. He didn’t fumble a snap in Ohio territory. He didn’t get beat deep after having leverage. He didn’t drop a pass in the end zone. He didn’t jump offsides on 4th and 4. Ohio State has better players and it shows. Not that shocking.
A good coach trains his players not to make fundamental mistakes.

sometimes college football gets boring because the same teams win all of the time. and no i am not a michigan fan. it just gets tiring to always see the same teams win year after year. if you are not a fan of teams like alabama or ohio state it gets old. not very exciting when you already know who is going to win before they even start playing. you might have an occasional upset but by and large everyone knows who is going to win the game. college football should do something to try and even the playing field to make it more interesting and exciting
