I really like your video intro. My daughter was in London a couple months ago and she rode the Canal boat down to the lock at Camden market where you were. I don’t think I would have the nerve to walk around with a video camera talking to it around all them people.

Thank you! I want to go back and spend more time. Your daughter’s canal boat ride sounds fun. I’ve never recorded around in the village in nyc, but I feel it would be the same vibe as in Camden 🤣

They were Egyptian Geese you saw on Regents Park Canal. In Camden you walked straight past the Worlds End pub on the other side of the road, very well known from films. You would have loved Highgate Cemetery in Hampstead where there are many famous people buried also Hampstead Heath has the best views over London. I think without a guide to show you about you are going to end up in the very touristy bits and not see much although good job finding Gladstone Park, which looked super interesting and chilled, totally not a tourist trap. Also you can go directly up to the Regents Canal to the Zoo and a lot more interesting locations nearby. Looks like you had a memorable time anyway! Thanks for sharing !

@@birdsbodger hi! I knew you would have some good intel ! The challenge is when we travel, I try to bug off and record something i like . It doesn’t ever coincide with the family’s interests . I would love to come back and just check out all of this area at a slower pace. Thank you for the info Egyptian geese! So cool

@@OutDehExplorer it's definitely something you need to do in future there are so many interesting places to see but it's better at a slower pace like you say. I'm in your shoes next year as I live in the North of England ( Yorkshire )and am going down for 3 days. It's a bit too busy for me London really as you saw but nice if you find the interesting historic spots and green areas !

Strange you walking along the canal under bridge's and such,I've long had vivid dreams the Elizabeth river was like that since I was a kid.lol.
That you could fall in some places shows you nobody goes around pushing people overboard there, like in USA,there would be fences everywhere to prevent that, but also yes this is the east village but only four story buildings.nice to see the sky in between also. If not for the British flags, I may have thought I was in Boston harbor lol .

I would have liked to walk along the Elizabeth river near broad street before it was channelized . must have been unique

Looks like a fun place to visit. So much graffiti on everything. How is the food in the UK? Was in Italy last summer was difficult to get a decent meal.

hi! I really didn't eat much in London, the main meal i remembered was eating dinner at the crown hotel , the food was good. i had a curry dish , it was quite nice. the girls ate at a thai restaurant in Golders Green. the next time i visit, im going to slow down and stay longer in each place. thank you for the great comment
